The Rogue Panda has officially become one of my favorite restaurants at Time Out Market. It's located on the X floor and I love that it's away from the chaotic lines etc because it's much easier to snag a table and take your time in reviewing the menu. For food, I got a chance to try most of the menu and I wasn't disappointed by one single thing. Out of everything I ate (check my photos), my favorites were as follows: Kung Pao Brussels, Orange Chicken, and the Sichuan Dry Rub Chicken Wings. Also, I typically love fried dumplings more than steamed usually but the steamed Shiitake Mushroom & Cabbage dumplings won me over. Next time I go back, I will definitely be getting another round of those. Big thanks to the Chef and Owner who continuously blew me away, morsel after morsel. Can't wait to return! read more

With so many options at the Time Out Market, this one stood out to us - it's located on the rooftop among other food spots (hand rolls, barbecue, pizza). While we wouldn't recommend the Dan Dan Noodles, the Kung Pao Brussels Sprouts were surprisingly delicious and left us wanting more - the Brussels sprouts themselves were cooked very throughly but still retained a flaky crunch, and the Kung Pao sauce was subtle but had a great sweet-spicy flavor. read more

This spot is inside the dumbo timeout market which is such a nice area and ambiance. There is plenty of seating indoor and outdoor with gorgeous views. We got the Dandan noodles and they were pretty good, nothing amazing. They have a soy based "meat" crumble and I loved that they were smothered in fried onions. It's nice to see a vegan option in a big food haul. Service was quick and there was no line on a weekday afternoon. They give you a buzzer and our order was ready in 10/15 mins. read more

This a MUST stop for us when we visit NYC. Our favorites were the Dan Dan Noodles & Kung Pao Brussel Sprouts. They had to change from "all plant based" to include chicken on the menu to attract a broader spectrum of people, but everything is still available as vegan. Oh yea, Orley (spel?) This place had been on my radar for awhile, so I decided to give them a try via Door Dash one rainy evening. They're located at the Time Out Food Hall in South Beach. The menu selection (vegan Chinese) is small, but everything sounds tasty. The prices are a bit high, but at least the food came in decent-sized portions. We tried the mapo tofu, Sichuan green beans, and Rogue "egg" rolls. The entrees had great flavor and spiciness. The egg rolls had a nice crispness and "meatiness" to them. Probably some of the best vegan food I've tasted. Not a fan of the raw food so it's amazing to see a nice change up for vegan Asian food. I had the boba Marsala chai, Dan Dan noodles, egg rolls and dumplings. Everything was fantastic. Only giving 4 stars because the cashier we had taking our order didn't come off the friendliest nor did he seem super excited to be there. Gone are the days when eating vegan meant a block of tofu covered in nutritional yeast and chalk laden soy milk. Flavors that kick open the door and yell hello in your mouth to plant and meat eaters alike. The only problem I had was I did not have enough room in my belly to try the entire menu. The Brussels had a delicious char that was accented by the subtle sweetness provided from the Sriracha styled sauce. The peanuts provided a great crunch. I feel sad to make a review for one star for any vegan place because I appreciate having vegan restaurants. Unfortunately this place was not good at all. I tried several dishes in excitement from other good reviews and haven't found a good Asian food place in Miami Beach. I got the egg rolls, fried rice, Dan Dan noodles, mapo tofu, slippery dumplings, cucumbers, and golden masala chai boba. Even the drink was disgusting. Complete waste of money. I would rather fast for multiple days then eat here again. This is not Asian cuisine in any shape or form no item could be comparable to Chinese food. I don't even know how to describe the taste just like someone was trying to make something with limited items no idea how and flavoring with spice combination that does not go together at all. Stopped in for lunch today at The Rogue Panda at Time Out Miami food hall and I have a feeling I will be back again very soon. If you haven't been to Time Out Food Hall in South Beach, let me tell you, it has many vegan options and many fully vegan vendors. The Rogue Panda is a fully vegan Chinese restaurant, with outstanding food, run by great people with attention to customer service as well as quality of food. The drinks came out first and the Masala Boba Tea was the perfect blend of spicy and sweet. The Lavender Lemonade was refreshing and crisp. They were poured over the boba and it worked well. The Dan Dan Noodles made with Impossible Pork ragu, bok choy, and onion crisps were quite possibly the best version of this dish I have had yet. The vegan pork ragu was authentically seasoned with just the right amount of heat. Definitely a must try. The Mapo Tofu made with Silky tofu, Impossible Pork, scallions and chili bean sauce was beyond description. The silky tofu mixed with the vegan pork ragu literally melted in my mouth and a was a taste explosion. The Slippery Dumplings were stuffed with Napa cabbage, Impossible Pork, pickled daikon and served with a spicy Sichuan sauce. Each dumpling was plump and filled with goodness and paired great with the spicy sauce. This is definitely a great dish to share with friends as a starter, and I would definitely get it again. The Rogue "Egg" Rolls were packed with Shiitake mushrooms, pickled veggies and served with a sweet chili sauce. Fried crispy and goldedn brown, filled with veggies and flavor. Each roll is served cut in half and perfect for sharing. The Kung Pao Brussels were Crispy brussels tossed with peanuts, scallions and Kung Pao sauce and were definitely a favorite of ours. The Brussels were crispy and fried to perfection. They were bursting with flavor and could be shared with a group as an appetizer, but so good, you might not want to share them. The Sichuan Green Beans are Charred beans with Impossible Pork, and dressed Sichuan peppercorn vinaigrette. This could easily be an entree or a shared appetizer, but either way, it was great. The authentic Chinese spice paired with the vegan pork were just so good, definitely had no complaints about this dish. The Sesame Cucumbers served with Black vinegar and sesame seeds were a light and tasty appetizer. The cucumbers were fresh and crisp and the dressing was so good. There were no cucumbers left by the end of the meal. It's a classic dish that they perfected. So satisfied with this meal and so happy with everyone I met at Time Out Market today. Decided to give this spot a try after being stuck in Time Out Market on a rainy Monday. I ordered the Sichuan Street Noodles. Absolutely delicious! This dish was so flavorful, a little spicy, and overall just yummy. 10/10 would recommend. Portion size was decent too! The staff was super funny/quirky. Finding delicious food on the beach that isn't overpriced is getting more and more difficult these days. We ordered one of every thing to try and it didn't break the bank. Everyone's favorite was the crispy brussels, but we also loved the dumplings and tofu dish...oh gosh and the egg rolls too! All of the dishes were served up hot and tasty, and each had it's own unique flavor profile. Rogue Panada hired culinary royalty from Momofuku and Eleven Madison Park to create their unique plant-based menu. It's really a must try. Location-wise, Rogue Panda is nestled in the middle of the Time Out Market located right off of Lincoln Road. There is usually parking right out in front, but there is also a parking garage in the same building. The seating is plentiful, so it easily can accommodate a big group. Had the pork and chive dumplings and they were terrible. Almost no pork, and they were deep fried (not the usual pan fried) so they had a hard shell and took ages to cool down. Rogue Panda is a pretty accurate name for this establishment. It's not the most authentic Chinese food out there, but it's not bad either. I got the Dan Dan noodles and I thought they were just okay. Price was high ish $18 for the portion I received - which would have been fine if the noodles were $18 noodles. Normally, I'm not a big snob that everything has to be "traditional" - for instance I love Panda Express lol - but I just feel like the changes the rogue panda made to Dan Dan noodles just made it worse. Why not have crushed peanuts? Or use sesame/peanut paste? Why not make it spicier? These feel like important things for a good Dan Dan noodle and they were both missing. Anyways, I only got one dish and I'm only in town for a few days so it's hard to pass judgement on the entire restaurant. Every dish is delish, but the Yuzu Lavender Boba is probably the best boba tea I've ever had in my entire life.
