Westville DUMBO is a great spot if you're looking for fresh, healthy food with plenty of options for everyone. It was very busy during our visit, so I definitely recommend making a reservation. The menu offers lots of wholesome choices, and everything we ordered was delicious but pricey as expected. Best of all, it was toddler-approved--our little one enjoyed the meal too! Friendly service, generous portions, and a great atmosphere. We'd definitely come back.

A great spot to stop after a walk around Dumbo. The salad portions are genuinely huge and delicious. I enjoyed the cocktails, too. The only downside was that the outdoor tables hadn't been wiped down properly, so everything was sticking to them.

Came for brunch and loved it!!! I am a lunch time regular but never had the opportunity to experience their brunch. I really loved my bowl, and my friend got the wrap. We both had a few specialty hot drinks. Mocha latte, cappuccino, and virgin bloody Mary's. We will for sure come back.

The food was incredible! The extensive vegetable options were amazing. I had the beets as a side with the California Benedict, which I really enjoyed. Drinks were also good and the service was prefect, food came timely and check-ins were appropriate.

Great casual dining spot in Dumbo! The service is quick and efficient, and the menu covers a lot of options, from meat to vegan. Our server Irais was charming and helpful, making our visit fun. The bar serves up a very respectable margarita for only $10. The buttermilk fried chicken (with avocado & arugula) was light and delicious, not overly breaded and fried. Their cast iron turkey burger was a much healthier (and quite substantial) alternative to the classic burger. We finished with a wonderful classic apple pie a la mode. Now that the warmer weather is here, take advantage of the great outdoor dining space they have available too! We're glad to have this friendly neighborhood oasis for really good casual dining in our neighborhood!

this location is gorgeous and they also have a back patio in addition to their main dining room and bar seating. My friends and I came in December and if you're reading this throughout the month of December in 2025 if you bring any non-perishable food to be donated you get a free drink. The espresso martini is honestly one of the best ones I've ever had. It was so creamy which I personally like. I got the fried chicken sandwich which was delicious and a side of sweet potato fries. We also shared the sautéed kale as a starter, which remained hot the entire duration of the dinner and was very flavorful. The staff here is very friendly and I'll definitely be coming back if I'm in the area

We came here for Sunday brunch with a visiting friend from the Netherlands. Our group was led to a heated backyard patio, and we were given the menu as soon as we were seated. For my brunch, my eyes caught the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with avocado, arugula, and chipotle mayo on a Portuguese muffin, served with arugula and marinated red onion salad. I found my sandwich delicious, and the portion is perfect if one is famished. My friends seemed to have enjoyed their brunch selections, such as breakfast burritos, classic Caesar salad, and an egg scrambled plate. Overall, we have enjoyed our dishes; the service was prompt, with a good price point. I will come back here to try their other dishes on the menu.

This was literally one of the best vegan meals I've eaten anywhere. I got the market plate which included sweet potatoes without sour cream (substituted with tahini), roasted carrots, and two servings of the teriyaki tofu. Everything was perfect, and there was nothing that wasn't good. Mackay was patient, calm and wonderful and accommodated all our asks gracefully!

Walked over the Brooklyn bridge and stumbled upon this restaurant, Westville, when looking for a lunch spot after our walk. They have a smaller indoor seating area, as well as an adorable fully covered outdoor patio area which is perfect for small parties or get togethers. Sat at the bar and ordered a hot toddy and it was exactly what we needed after crisp stroll across the bridge. For lunch we ordered deviled eggs to start, which were delicious. For our entree we ordered the market plate in which you can order for a long list of local vegetables. I ordered the broccoli, brussel sprouts and roasted sweet potatoes and the vegetables were absolutely delicious and SO fresh. I highly recommended the market plate! If I lived in the Brooklyn area, this would be the spot to go. We really, really enjoyed our food and the overall atmosphere of this place!

Love love love this place. Our waitress Elisa was amazing. It was our first time here and definitely will be going there again. The place was cute and very spacious. Check the pics out cause the food was BOMB!

Went there as a hungry tourist after walking across the Brooklyn bridge and glad that food was good . This restaurant has many vegetarian options. House vegetarian burger was soooo good , drinks were good as well. Would definitely recommend it for vegetarian food.

I came here for brunch with a friend and they seated us immediately. We did have a reservation and during this time they were full packed. They brought us waters right away and menus. It took a little long for the waiter to come but he was super sweet. We ordered two teas and I got the breakfast burrito and my friend got the steak and eggs. The tea came almost immediately, which was nice. They only have cups of tea and not pots of tea. I got the early grey and it was good. Then about 10-15 min later the food arrived. I got the burrito and it looked different from what I had expected just based on photos from online. Personally I was very underwhelmed and disappointed with the burrito. It had eggs, cheese, and sausage on the inside. All I could taste was cheese. There was such an overwhelming amount that it made me feel kind of sick. I could not taste like any of the egg it all just tasted like melted mush and cheese. I even tried digging around just for egg but all of it was drowning in an overwhelming amount. The fries on the other hand were pretty good. They were nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. There was also an avocado on top which I enjoyed to get rid of the pure cheese in my mouth. My friend did like her steak and eggs though. I think my fish was just overindulgent and the flavor ratios were totally off. However, the service was really good and i probably would go again but try something different. They also have a QR code on the table to pay the bill which was really nice and convenient especially if you are splitting the bill or have a group. You can split the bill or just pay for what you got. The location is also nice since when you come out you get a perfect view of the Brooklyn bridge.

It featured a crispy, sugar-glazed exterior and a soft, chewy interior, topped with truffle cheese and served with a truffle butter dip; the pairing was superb, and it tasted great both on its own and with the dip. For the main course, I ordered the miso-glazed black cod. The flavor was flawless, and while the portion was small (which was acceptable), the pool of broth accompanying it was completely unnecessary; it was inedibly salty, so what was the point of serving it? After finishing the fish, I was left with a plate full of broth, rendering the plate unusable. Plus, it was overpriced; for this dish, you're better off going to Strip House Strip House remains the undisputed king of this dish in New York. A friend ordered the chicken parmesan. It was just average. Another friend ordered the short rib stroganoff. The flavor was decent, but it was far too rich and heavy. As someone whose palate is split 50/50 between Western and Chinese cuisine, I could manage only five bites at most. If you have a palate that prefers 100% Chinese food, proceed with caution on this dish. Friends ordered sides of mac & cheese and mashed potatoes. These are dishes originally meant for low-income Americans to fill up on cheaply; there's no limit to how good they can be, but also no floor to how bad they can get. Both were on par with the average quality found in upscale restaurants. Honestly, these are two dishes I would never order myself. To sum up: the atmosphere was great. It's also hard to get a reservation; the place was packed when we had lunch at 2 PM. Aside from that monkey bread, I didn't feel like anything else justified the price or offered something you couldn't find elsewhere. I don't quite get the hype. Perhaps I just didn't order the right dishes; maybe next time I'll try the burger and the steak.

The Thick Cut Bacon (8.5/10) was sweet, crunchy, and cooked perfectly. The Wagyu Cheeseburger (7.5/10) tasted good, but the bun was too dry, dense, and oversized for the burger. The King Crab Rangoon (8/10) was packed with crab, almost too much for my taste, but the sweet chili and hot mustard sauces balanced it out nicely. The Espresso Martini (6/10) was a pretty standard espresso martini. The Long Island Cold Brew (3/10) tasted like cold brew mixed with vodka, which just wasn't for me. Service was fine overall (7/10). The moment you step inside, you're transported to the Victorian era, with ornate details and charming décor that make the entire space feel like an experience in itself. We stopped in before a show without a reservation and, while the dining room was full, we were able to grab seats at the bar. Honestly, I think it worked out for the best--the bar felt more spacious than the table seating and had a relaxed, unhurried atmosphere for a Wednesday afternoon. The mocktails were as creative as they were delicious, and the cocktail menu offered plenty of tempting options as well. The bartenders were attentive, friendly, and impressively efficient, striking that perfect balance of great service without constantly interrupting your conversation. We shared the sliders and the summer salad, and both were generously portioned and perfect for splitting. Between the beautiful setting, excellent drinks, and seamless service, this is definitely a place I'll be returning to.
