I hired The Roldan's for general car detail. Pros: The service was quick & convenient. The job was so fast and convenient that I requested to book bi-weekly cleanings with them to start on Aug 7, 2023. They even offered a discount rate but now it makes since why... Cons: 1. They don't use air freshener and whatever deodorizer they use is insufficient. The stench of red onions from the pizza I picked up the night before hit me as soon as I opened the door. I asked about air freshener, they told me they use an order neutralizer instead which did not work in my case. But that wasn't a deal breaker as I could buy my own air freshener.  2. The deal breaker came the day after the detail, I drove my car for the first time since the cleaning, turned on the air conditioner (AC), went to adjust the air vent and the knob fell off onto the car floor. It had been broken and put back in place. In that moment I sent a text message to The Roldan's, see screen shots of text communication. They were kind in their reaponse, admitted cleaning the air vent with a "soft bristle brush" but denied breaking the knob. They also say that if something did brake they would have told me. They continued to take the position that they only cleaned the air vent. Here's where the math ain't mathin...The moment I tried to move/adjust the air vent the knob immediately fell off. There's no way possible they could have cleaned the vent with a "soft bristle brush" and the knob NOT fall off IF it were already broken before they touched it. Absolutely impossible. It just doesn't make since. I have a 06 BMW, I'm not looking to scam anyone my car is old BUT it runs well and looks great because I take care of my ish. Why would I leave a useless broken piece of hardware in place if touching it causes it to fall?? It's summer, I use my AC daily. Before wash, I walked them around the car to point out what things to know like my passenger rear door being broke so they would know how to handle during cleaning. Why wouldn't I mention the AC vent if I knew it was broken? Why wouldn't I just remove the darn piece since it's useless? I drove the car the night before. Furthermore, IF it was broken before the Roland's cleaning, there are only two logical outcomes: 1. The already broken knob falls off durning the "soft bristle brush" cleaning and they put it back in place and let me know when they hand me the keys that the air vent knob is broken OR 2. The already broken knob falls off durning "soft bristle brush" cleaning and they put the piece in the console and tell me about it when they hand me the keys. Neither of those things happened. There's absolutely no way under the sun they can admit to cleaning the vent with a "soft bristle brush" which means motion and they didn't experience the already broken knob falling off OR shifting at the least. It's just not possible. As a small business owner myself, I sympathize with the situation, had they been honest about it I was more than willing to work something out especially since I had already requested regular scheduled cleanings but to straight out lie about it in the face of facts shows lack of  integrity. A business must be willing to face accountability in difficult situations just as they would for a job well done no matter the size of the business. I'm certain it wasn't intentional but breaking someone's property and blatantly lying about it is unethical and conniving. Maintaining such an obvious lie in the face of fact based truth is just immoral and shows bad character. The whole thing is dumb. To think I'd set them up by leaving a broken part in place is stupid. I don't have small children and no one else drives my car. The cameras in my building show that my car didn't move after The Roldan's cleaned it until the next day when I contacted them. I waited a couple weeks before giving this review to see if they would reach out for resolution but they are obviously sticking to their lie. Even though the work was good I would never recommend a business with such poor values. read more

Roldan's is a hidden gem in the Culver area! 1. Website is clear and straightforward with pricing. 2. You can book online and if there are issues they will reach out via text vs playing phone tag. 3. The prices are reasonable and they come to you so that is great! 4. The communication leading up the service and what to expect were excellent. For the service I did the VIP detail. My car needed some TLC from recent road trips and we have a dog that seems to make things smelly and hairy. The team did an amazing job both inside and outside and we plan to use the service a few times a year. Everyone who has been in the car since is amazed. If you live where you need this service done during the week while parked on the street - highly suggest booking right after the street cleaning window ends. After looking on their website, I easily made my own appointment online and it was a great experience. They come directly to your house with a team of a few people and everything needed for a full wash, both interior & exterior. I was just on a 3 week off-roading camping trip and my Jeep definitely looked like it. I decided that I needed a professional cleaning for it so I started to research auto detailers and that's when I found Roldan's. What I liked about them most is that they come to your home. So I scheduled an appointment. They communicate very well and respond quickly. When they came, they had everything that was needed. You do not need to supply anything. And they can do all the work on the street. I did the VIP detailing which was priced very fairly. It took them about 2 1/2 hours which shows that they take their time and aren't rushing through it. The end result was that my Jeep pretty much looked like it did when I bought it! What I was amazed most about was all the dog hair they removed and I have a pup that sheds a lot. First time using a home mobile detailing company and I'm sold! This husband/wife team who own the business and do all the work themselves were professional, friendly and have an easy to book website and they answered my questions and customized what I wanted done without any issues. They showed up right on time gave me a quick run down and they were underway. My car was in pretty bad shape with a lot of sap stains and waterspots. I added the clay bar since it has not been detailed in about a year and a half and I knew it needed that, and then the higher quality wax application too. It turned out great. Really a pro job and much more detailed than what you would get at some car wash which just bangs them out with no where near the attention you get here. They have all the tools of the trade with no need for electric or water hook ups as they have a nicely decked out supply vehicle with a generator too. I like the fact that they are a small owner operator company so they really care about the quality of what they do. I found there prices to be better than most others with no lack of quality from what I could see. I will be using them again for sure! read more
