My friends and I stopped in for a quick bite and some drinks. I'm more of a liquor drinker so was definitely a bit disappointed when I learned they don't serve liquor. They have wine options from what I remember and beer. The service was great though ad the staff was very nice. The weather was very nice this day so the outdoor seating wasn't bad. Wanted to enjoy the refreshing breeze we were having. I found this place in YELP. Saw the ratings and said what the heck! The ambiance was just what I was looking for. I love the concept. Southern feel , felt like I was at my neighbors back yard. Lawn chairs , camp fire, the RV truck-until the food arrived. The cheesecake wasn't to my liking needed more flavor and taste almost mushy. What a fun experience!!! Love the outdoor seating area and all the grass area with the games. The fire pit was going and then they had a live band! Great atmosphere!! It's amazing the had such a great selection of food that was made in a simple food truck! The waitstaff was super helpful (provided suggestions for food/recommendations) and the food came out quick! Great neighborhood outdoor bar! We came on a less busy night since parking can be limited. Super chill staff and local bands come and play almost daily! Ordered the spicy honey wings, smash burger and fried pickles. I'd say order the wings for sure as they were crispy and full of flavor! The fried pickles were yummy and a great appetizer. We would skip on the smashburger next time and just order more wings! There's no indoor seating so I'd recommend to come when it's not super hot outside, and order a cold drink if you do! Great atmosphere and an awesome selection of local beers. There are plenty of TVs so you won't miss the game, and the whole setup is super laid back with yard games and lots of space to hang out. Fun spot and good food! My one complaint is they only do canned beverages unless you like beer. Well if you're a cocktail drinker that means they have practically nothing for you (let's be honest, there are not a lot of good canned cocktails and the few that exist they don't have.) The vibe of the place is so great I'd love to make it a hang out with my husband, but it's the kind of place you want a fun mixed drink in your hand for and you're just out of luck. Sad. read more

If you're looking for a relaxed bar with cool vibes to meet up with friends for a drink in the Seminole Heights area, add Rollin' Mullet to the list. I've visited multiple times on various days of the week, and I always find there to be an interesting crowd. Overall it's a cool concept and the string lights are super cute to me as well as the games that are in the grassy area. I've heard that they screen movies from time to time here which is something I've yet to catch. They have many tv's which is great if you're trying to catch a game. During the cooler months space heaters are available which I think make it cozier. Also dog friendly which is a plus! Drinks: I've tried many a drink at the Rollin Mullet. From canned cocktails to limited edition Japanese yuzu beer and glasses of Cabernet Sauvignon or locally brewed craft beers, there's a diverse range of drink options. One thing to note is that they do not have a liquor license so do not pour cocktails of any sort. The staff is super knowledgeable on the different beers that they carry and there are always specials so be sure to read the board or ask! Food: If you're feeling hungry there is a food truck which is slinging all sorts of bar foods from quesadillas to Philly cheese steak sandwiches and chicken wings. While I've never ordered the food here, I hear that it is good albeit a bit pricey. read more

The Rollin Mullet came to our rescue after a recent trip to Germany left us wishing for a beer garden style place we could go drink while our kids ran around. Over there, beer gardens have space, booze and music. And rollin mullet has all three. We love going there and just ignoring our children while they safely run around in a fenced-in area. You'd think this idea would be a no brainer and restaurants like this would be popping up everywhere, but they are surprisingly difficult to find, especially in Seminole Heights. The menu is solid bar food, with lots of choices and the beer menu is great. Ask for the long list, there's even more than what they have written on the board. My only gripe is I wish they had a few healthy options, and maybe would consider getting a swing set, but that's just being picky. Truly go check this place out. Be aware though, parking is tricky. read more

Stopped by on a Friday night around 10:30. Got a great parking spot and it wasn't too busy. Immediately upon pulling up, we knew we were going to love this place. An airstream rv is the centerpiece, hosting several taps of craft beer. There's an awesome canopy that covers a decent sized bar, along with a few tables. TV's everywhere. Well lit with string lights. Very new/clean all around. Staff was friendly and timely. Craft beer selection was surprising... lots of delicious beers from all over. Bathrooms were very nice and clean. They did have some food options. We had just eaten dinner a bit ago, but we did indulge in the boiled peanuts. Visited tonight during their soft opening. This is an amazing space that is great for adults, kids and dogs. Multiple beers on tap, as well as other options for us non beer drinkers. I had a Topo Chico hard seltzer. We did grab food while we were there. I saw others complaining about the food on here, and I have this to say...is it 5 star cuisine? No. But it was good food for drinkin' and everything was well prepared. Much less expensive food than the food trucks at other local joints. The outdoor space is huge w games and a fire pit. Our first trip to The Rollin' Mullet left much to be desired. Pros- the space is great, open air and a great area for families and kids to play. The service was pretty friendly. Cons- the food!! We had a larger party so got to sample almost everything on the menu. Seminole Heights is known as a foodie district with fantastic food options, and this place doesn't live up to that. Dry, plain, overcooked burger, gross veggie dog, plain chicken Philly, plain quesadilla served with jarred salsa. 2 options for non red wine- a Sauvignon blanc and champagne. They were also out of a lot of the other beverages. 3.5% credit card fee. It's a bummer bc this place has a great vibe. Really pretty atmosphere but that's where the fun stops. I realize that this is a soft opening for them as well, so maybe the future will be better for them? Would need a full menu makeover tho. read more
