The burrito was very delicious and a huge serving. Unfortunately this restaurant gave my wife and I food poisoning. We aren't sure if it was the burrito or the salsas but we shared the one burrito and both were affected.

The best bite in Mammoth. 1. We were in town for a weekend and someone recommended this spot to us. On our way out of town, we stopped by for breakfast (crazy I know) and it happened to be the best bite I've ever had in Mammoth. 2. Their truck is located in a parking lot so parking is plenty and their spot has some shaded picnic tables. 3. We had the loaded saltado burrito with steak. It was loaded for sure and was flavorful!! It's definitely enough to feed two and I felt like I got steak with every bite. All ingredients were cooked well and the burrito felt balanced. Lomo saltado is usually cooked in a wok and you can definitely taste the wok hei (smoky flavor that comes with wok cooking) here. 4. The person taking out order was also friendly and he also let us try all 3 sauces. The chimichurri was my favorite. 5. Highly highly recommend coming here if you're looking for a place to eat in Mammoth. They also have a truck in Bishop!

This food truck was parked by Footloose when we gave it a try. The team was very friendly and helpful in choosing the Choripan sandwich. So delicious! The food came out pretty quickly and piping hot.

    Half eaten Baja fries lol

DELICIOUS food, super spicy (optional) sauce on the rolling Baja fries. Cubanito bowl was great too for a protein option.

This is a favorite in Mammoth. Quick made to order Latin food with delicious salsas make this a winner every time. Highly recommend the chorizo and any of the green salsas.

The burrito was so good I came back multiple times during my vacation. Everything was well seasoned, moist, and the salsa was delicious.

We had the best cubano sandwich and loved everything about it! So glad we gave it a try during a trip to Mammoth.

If you're in…read moreMammoth and craving Mexican food, save yourself the disappointment and go to Roberto's instead. My friend and I ordered the Blanca Paloma because we wanted a mocktail. My boyfriend said it tasted like chlorinated pool water. Honestly, that felt generous. I took two sips and immediately understood why plants die when you overwater them. If someone told me this was recycled toilet water with a splash of citrus, I'd have no evidence to dispute it. The service was fast though, so points for that. The guacamole was this restaurant's saving grace. It was fresh, delicious, and briefly convinced me the rest of the meal might turn around. It did not. We ordered the Baja ceviche and I have questions. Specifically: why was it marinating in what tasted like an entire bottle of Clamato? The seafood never stood a chance. Every bite tasted like I accidentally drank the bottom of a Bloody Mary. I ordered the chicken taco plain and it still showed up with enough diced onion to ward off vampires for the next decade. The overall flavor profile felt very "Mexican food designed by committee." It wasn't terrible, but it definitely wasn't something I'd order again. My boyfriend ordered the carnitas and actually liked them, so credit where credit is due. The garlic shrimp was the clear winner of the table by a mile. Honestly, if you come here, order the garlic shrimp, order the guac, and call it a day. For the love of all things holy, stay away from the Blanca Paloma.

It's not just a few bottles on display, it's a full collection that gives the whole place energy. You can tell they take tequila seriously, and if you're into it even a little, you'll appreciate what they've built here. The food is solid across the board. Mexican with a bit of a modern twist, good portions, good flavor, and consistent. It's the kind of place you can go after a long day in Mammoth and know you're going to leave satisfied. The atmosphere is what really ties it together. Lively, warm, and has that mountain town vibe without feeling touristy. The fireplace, the bar, the setup, it all works. Service has always been on point too. Friendly, attentive, and they keep things moving without rushing you. Between the tequila selection, great cocktails, good food, and overall vibe, this is one of those spots you make a point to come back to every time you're in Mammoth. Definitely worth it.
