    Truck with pizza stone oven

If your near the area definitely worth stopping by for a pizza. Little hidden gem the pizza was hot out of the oven and ingredients are fresh and dough was really nice doughy, chewy, and crunchy. Price is a little elevated but everything is now a days. There was a bit of a wait but that's because they had a lot of orders which is a good sign.

Gluten Free Eggman pizza & Dates with honey goat cheese & cinnamon

Great tasting gluten free pizza is hard find. This is so good that I would consider moving from Chicago to Valparaiso for this pizza. I will be making the over 1hr trip to have this pizza again. I also loved the dates and goat cheese dessert. I'm obsessed.

Enjoyed the most amazing vegan pizza at this really cool food truck. This truck was fabricated to include a French pastry oven to cook delicious thin crust pizza with the finest local ingredients. We tried the marinara veggie pizza and it had roasted mushrooms, red onions, peppers and tomatoes and was garnished with fresh radish stems(I think?), drizzled with olive oil it was absolutely delicious! Had an orange San Pellegrino as well. This truck will be in the lot next to the Marathon on HWY 12 in Beverly Shores, IN Wed-Sun. We will definitely stop by again soon on our way in and out of IN and MI.

Not the best photo, but the sun was setting and I had to get some sort of record that we were here :-)

My husband has not stopped talking about this pizza since we stopped there on Sunday night. Thank goodness it was open as we were passing through and camping at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. What an awesome find. The concept is fun - who doesn't love a vintage Studebaker and when it's serving up the most awesome pizza pies ever - a combination that cannot be wrong. We ordered two pies, a margarita and a pepperoni. Pretty traditional, but that's what we like. We also ordered a tomato and fresh mozzarella salad, it said the tomatoes were fresh out of their garden, pine nuts and a honey basil dressing. OMG - we tried to share one and had to go back for another, my husband keeps asking me, can we make a dressing like that? We don't normally even like salads. So yes, you MUST go here - the crust on these pizzas is nothing like we've ever experienced and the ingredients were fresh and very flavorful. This may be the best pizza we have ever eaten. Just go.... go!

Sorry. Not impressed. I know many people love this, but our experiences have been average.

We ordered the Elote Pizza, and overall it was really good. It had a nice wood-fired crust that was probably the highlight of the meal. The only downside was that it came with a garlic aioli that was very heavy...there was so much on the pizza that it overpowered some of the other flavors. I think it would have been even better with a lighter hand. For drinks, I had one of their sour beers and my husband ordered an IPA. Both were good, but neither really stood out as anything particularly memorable. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was friendly and took good care of us. The layout of the brewery was a little unexpected. We walked into the main entrance, then the host brought us back outside and over to a separate building where the bar is located. It was a little confusing at first, but it ended up being a neat setup. The restaurant was clean, with a spacious dining room and a nice-looking patio. The only thing that kept this from being a higher rating was the value. It felt a little expensive for what we ordered, and while everything was solid, nothing really wowed us. Overall, I'm glad we stopped in, especially as a place to escape the heat for a while. If you're in the area and looking for a casual meal and a local beer, it's worth checking out...I just wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to visit again.

Shoreline Brewery & Restaurant is an easy go-to stop in Michigan City for locally made beer, a wide…read morevariety of food options, and a fun outdoor patio atmosphere. Our group started with the pierogi appetizer, and it was definitely the highlight of the meal. They were perfectly fried with a crispy exterior and topped with sour cream, bacon, and onions. Super flavorful and hit the spot! For dinner, I ordered the Chicken & Bacon Jam Sandwich with sweet potato fries. While the chicken itself was tender, the bacon jam was much sweeter than I expected and ended up overpowering the sandwich. I was hoping for more of a savory flavor. The bottom bun also soaked up quite a bit of oil, making it pretty soggy and messy to eat. The sweet potato fries weren't quite my style either because they were heavily coated in sugar and tasted more sweet than savory. Unfortunately, neither is something I'd order again, even though both sounded great on the menu. We visited during a busy Saturday dinner rush, so our food took a while to arrive, but our server was friendly, attentive, and acknowledged the delay, which I always appreciate and understand! We sat outside on the patio, which was a fun place to spend the evening. The only thing I noticed was that there wasn't any music playing outdoors like there was inside, and I think that would have added a little more energy to the space. Overall, I don't want to knock this place too much because I genuinely think it's a great spot for Michigan City. Between the local beer selection, large menu, welcoming atmosphere, and outdoor seating, it's definitely worth a visit! I'd happily come back and try some different menu items next time!
