What a cool spot to chill and hang out! Quietly hidden above Sacrament Brewing and The Midtown Gastro Bar is a little oasis of open-air chillaxation!. I have driven past the building a million times and never realized there was anything more to it until this event. The space is relatively small and cozy, as lounges go, but it did not feel cramped. Along with a bar, there is ample seating, from high top tables to long benches and tables for chatting with friends. There was a DJ booth, front and center and they had a few DJs queued up, tag-team style, playing a variety of mellow house-music mixes. There is not a lot os space for dancing but a few brave souls crowded the DJs and shook their groove thang to the beats. We didn't know anyone there but the general vibe of the crows was friendly. The bartenders were really nice and full of personality and served our ginger beer quickly. We don't drink alcohol but from what I could tell from the other patrons, they seemed to be very happy with the service and quality of the drinks they ordered. Apparently, they have frequent events up here, as there was going to be a salsa dance party the next night! I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this place!

Went to the Rooftop for a friend's birthday. It's very cute and well decorated. I liked the fireplace area as well. The service was good. The bartender gave us a nice greeting as we got to the bar. The drinks were delicious as well. I got a raspberry lemon drop!

Stopped by on a Saturday night for a few drinks. The Rooftop is a VERY cool concept. The entire roof becomes the bar and there are fire pits, couches, and even a disco ball. However, the service leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered a Lusty Lady cocktail. There was no line at the bar, but this one cocktail took 10 minutes to be ready. The two bartenders had to check the recipe, fiddle with the computers, and even play with the music. The cocktail was fine, but not good enough to make me excited about it after the wait.

Decided to go out for a few drinks and go to a few bars. This place was good. My friend and I were looking for a rooftop bar so enjoy the outdoors. When we came in, we were told the rooftop was closed. So The Rooftop bar had a rooftop that was closed. We were obviously disappointed. Either way, we decided to stay for one drink and then we left. The drinks were just okay. Nothing to rave about but it could have been that specific drink so I would have to come back here and try other items from their menu. Til next time The Rooftop.

The vibes were cool upstairs. Drinks delicious and a great place to relax and have drinks. I wish there were more tvs just so the bar is not crowded trying to watch the sports game and I wish appetizers were options to purchase but totally understand that this place is for a drinks and casual hangout. We just got so hungry upstairs.

We attended a masquerade birthday party at the Rooftop. The staff was super welcoming and the space was delightful. We ordered the usual which features Ginger beer. The brand that they carried was new to me but still nice. The weather was perfect and the guests were wonderful to get to know. I would go back for another visit and recommend that you give them a

Fantastic Spot To "Pregame" Shows @ Goldfields Next Door…read more SITREP We descended upon the Tack Room an hour before our show for "Ally The Piper" (both the classical AND heavy metal bagpiper extraordinaire) began her show! THE SETUP Goldfields is a charming, rustic country-western stylized saloon that serves up beer at good prices. But we weren't interested in beer and wanted quality cocktails. Hence, our pivot next door to the Tack Room! QUALITY COCKTAILS & DRINKS! The Tack Room specializes an amazing array of martinis, bourbons, and other deLISH cocktail drinks at really really reasonable prices! So this was an excellent choice to chill, thus avoiding the tremendous *noise pollution* we were immediately subjected to upon entering Goldfields an hour later for our show. THE LOWDOWN This is a quality bar with plenty of comfortable seating to relax and have quiet, intimate conversations. So if you and your later friend(s) want some privacy, cocktails at a reasonable price, etc., this is a good way to go.

It's themed around horse racing, but not in an overbearing or... tacky way. The mixologist was delightful and had great recommendations, the lights were dim, and the drinks were all on point. The highlight was the espresso martini, which is among the best I've had. It was reminiscent of the one I had at the Starbucks Roastery in NYC, which is high praise. The other coffee drink that surprised me was the Revolver. I always forget about what a good pairing orange and coffee is, and I'll be taking this one back home with me to try! Every other drink we tried was delicious in some unique way. The Pho drink was savory and surprising, the New York Sour was rich and flavorful, and the Practical Move was refreshing. Will definitely return here after dinner to sip an espresso martini for dessert!

It really doesn't feel like any of the speakeasies I have been to before as it was much brighter and more open space but enjoyed it nonetheless. Food/Drinks: I strictly stayed with Espresso Martinis but they were prepared pretty well. The flatbreads also tasted amazing! They also had a list of different holiday themed drinks for those inclined for some holiday cheer. Service: The service here was super quick. The server came to our table so we did not have to head over to the bar. They came a couple of times to check on us but were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the drink options! Definitely worth a check out if you are looking for a friendly public speaker easy.

You won't find crowds of people clamoring for the bar to get a drink or other less desirable things detracting from the atmosphere. My gf made resy's for after dinner cocktails. We sat at the bar and enjoyed chatting with the bartender and watching his mixologist skills in action. I was only going to have two drinks here, but watching him craft these artisan cocktails made me want more. I started with the Porn Star Martini which is appropriately named for the champagne ball which explodes bubbly in your mouth- perfect to spoon into your mouth after a sip of the martini! Next up was the Cereza Grande! I watched the bartender make it which was the point of enticement. Loved the sour cherry flavor and citrus fizz! Then, I couldn't leave without tasting the Hibiscus Sunset which caught my eye first. The hibiscus and mint combination was a beautiful, invigorating libation and a perfect ending to my cocktail tasting journey. I noticed there is also a tasting menu here also. I would love to return and try. If you love the speakeasy feel with just the right amount of people without being in an overcrowded bar, you have to give Roost a visit!

I started with the chips and guacamole. The chips were fresh, crunchy, and served warm. The guacamole was flavorful and well-balanced, sticking to a classic style without trying to do too much. For drinks, I ordered the Watermelon Raspberry Margarita. It was crisp, refreshing, and packed with flavor. Not overly sweet and not too strong, making it a great choice if you're looking for something easy to enjoy with your meal. For my entrée, I went with the Beef Tasajo tacos. The skirt steak was juicy and tender, topped with fresh onions and cilantro, and served with salsa verde and lime on the side. The tacos had that classic street taco feel, simple but satisfying. They were generously filled with meat, which I definitely appreciated. While I'm personally not a fan of purple tortillas, the quality of the steak and toppings still made these very enjoyable. My only real criticism was the water service. The cups were fairly small, and refills weren't offered as often as I would have liked. If you're thirsty, it may be worth asking for a pitcher or larger water service upfront. Overall, I left feeling full and satisfied. The food was fresh, the portions were generous, and the margarita was excellent. I'd definitely consider coming back to try more items on the menu.

This is my first classic martini (unlike lychee martinis I've had before at other places). My server asked how I like it, with olive juice or with lemon twist or another option I don't remember. To be honest I don't know how I like it because it's is my first classic martini. So I was honest with him. I said I'll do whatever you recommend because I wanted to try a classic martini cuz I've been watching Gossip Girl. I felt silly admitting I wanted a martini because of a tv show. But my server actually did his research and found that Blair (a main character in the show) likes her martini with a lemon twist. And that is the martini I got. He brought frozen glass and poured the drink on the spot. It was such a vibe and a great drink. For food I got the grilled prawns. This dish is delicious and goes so well with my martini! For my second drink I got the shiso fresh. I was debating between two drinks and asked my server for suggestions. He is absolutely right with this recommendation. Shiso fresh is refreshing and sweet but not too sweet. I loved it. Service is wonder and drinks are tasty. I can't wait to come back!

Im a bit disappointed in the happy hour food…read more I've been here several times for their drinks, but something just didn't click in my most recent visit. I came here for happy hour and ordered a handful of their items. Chicken Lumpia - over all I was pleased with how piping hot, fresh out the fryer it was. A bit thin for my linking but I appreciated there were 6 pieces. The sauce did not pair well. There was something off about it that isn't your typical sweet and sour; maybe the sauce was made in house. Sisig fries - decent portion of fries but fell short on the pork. Lacked an egg and didn't really meet the sisig flavors that I'm used to. You can definitely taste the zestiness of the lemon - nice touch, but other than that it's just fries with pork, red onion and green onion garnish. Hot dog - a $9 happy hour hot dog was the biggest disappointment. Sure the bread texture was good, toasted with a nice chew, but that was it. The dog itself was charged to my linking but it really didn't feel worth the money spent for its portion. Fries - 100% would get again. Cauliflower bites - I liked this too, flavor was good but such a small portion our table has to order two. Similar to the hotdog, not sure if it's worth the spend for the portion size. Despite the food not satisfying my cravings, the service was great. The young lady was helpful and was working hard taking orders, making drinks and delivering the food. The place was pretty busy at least the indoor area. Plenty of seating outside, but in this heat not sure if it's a good idea. Didn't see any misters but would be a nice touch to draw in more folks. Side note: some of the cocktails are premade, and can be overly sweet.
