Went to the Rooftop for a friend's birthday. It's very cute and well decorated. I liked the fireplace area as well. The service was good. The bartender gave us a nice greeting as we got to the bar. The drinks were delicious as well. I got a raspberry lemon drop!

Stopped by on a Saturday night for a few drinks. The Rooftop is a VERY cool concept. The entire roof becomes the bar and there are fire pits, couches, and even a disco ball. However, the service leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered a Lusty Lady cocktail. There was no line at the bar, but this one cocktail took 10 minutes to be ready. The two bartenders had to check the recipe, fiddle with the computers, and even play with the music. The cocktail was fine, but not good enough to make me excited about it after the wait.

What a cool spot to chill and hang out! Quietly hidden above Sacrament Brewing and The Midtown Gastro Bar is a little oasis of open-air chillaxation!. I have driven past the building a million times and never realized there was anything more to it until this event. The space is relatively small and cozy, as lounges go, but it did not feel cramped. Along with a bar, there is ample seating, from high top tables to long benches and tables for chatting with friends. There was a DJ booth, front and center and they had a few DJs queued up, tag-team style, playing a variety of mellow house-music mixes. There is not a lot os space for dancing but a few brave souls crowded the DJs and shook their groove thang to the beats. We didn't know anyone there but the general vibe of the crows was friendly. The bartenders were really nice and full of personality and served our ginger beer quickly. We don't drink alcohol but from what I could tell from the other patrons, they seemed to be very happy with the service and quality of the drinks they ordered. Apparently, they have frequent events up here, as there was going to be a salsa dance party the next night! I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this place!

Decided to go out for a few drinks and go to a few bars. This place was good. My friend and I were looking for a rooftop bar so enjoy the outdoors. When we came in, we were told the rooftop was closed. So The Rooftop bar had a rooftop that was closed. We were obviously disappointed. Either way, we decided to stay for one drink and then we left. The drinks were just okay. Nothing to rave about but it could have been that specific drink so I would have to come back here and try other items from their menu. Til next time The Rooftop.

The vibes were cool upstairs. Drinks delicious and a great place to relax and have drinks. I wish there were more tvs just so the bar is not crowded trying to watch the sports game and I wish appetizers were options to purchase but totally understand that this place is for a drinks and casual hangout. We just got so hungry upstairs.

We attended a masquerade birthday party at the Rooftop. The staff was super welcoming and the space was delightful. We ordered the usual which features Ginger beer. The brand that they carried was new to me but still nice. The weather was perfect and the guests were wonderful to get to know. I would go back for another visit and recommend that you give them a

We ordered a pairing of their best selling green curry ceviche complimented by a Riesling. we also ordered the Thai beef tartare. Ok, at first bite of the tartare... FLAVOR! It was so delicious and paired well with the Riesling. The green curry ceviche was refreshing crunchy and zesty. The beef tartare is the best in the Sacramento area hands down. We sat outdoors, and we saw that it would make a great space for intimate gatherings. I reckon as the weather gets warmer I may opt for indoor seating, but this option is definitely worth coming back for. I couldn't recommend this place any more. We snagged a cookie on the way out and NO WAY THAT BETTY COOKIE was one of the best things I've eaten. They bake too?? AND they open at 7 for my return to office mandate :( I love it here

This hidden gem offers an experience that's unlike anything else in the city. The setup is simple but charming: you literally walk up to a window and order your wine. I believe it's one ring for white, two for red, and three or four for sparkling--don't quote me on that, but it adds a playful, old-world vibe that makes the whole experience memorable. The Wine Window is affordable, laid-back, and surprisingly quaint. It's the kind of place where the ambiance, the people, and the energy make it feel more like an experience within an experience--not just a drink stop. I had the chance to chat with John, the owner, who shared a bit of the backstory. He previously owned a full wine room nearby, but when the pandemic hit, he had to pivot. Instead of calling it quits, he leaned into a smaller, more intimate concept inspired by wine windows in Europe. Honestly, I think the scale makes it even better. The outdoor patio is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine while people-watching on L Street, and yes, there's even a restroom available (a rare but very appreciated amenity for this type of setup). If you find yourself downtown, do yourself a favor--swing by The Wine Window, have a chat with John, and enjoy a unique Sacramento experience.

Again, there was a lag between our drinks being ordered and coming out to the table. The cocktails themselves were very enjoyable and well crafted. The drinks and some appetizers held us over until dinner came out. Overall, the food turned out to be worth the wait! That was a pleasant surprise after the service started out so roughly. The lows: The pulpo was so over cooked you could barely cut it with a knife. The fettuccine with lobster and shrimp was cloying and seafood was also over cooked. The lamb lacked any real presence and was completely taken over by the accompanying sauces. The branzino was basically inedible. The thinnest of filets that could not be separated with a fork and barely broken in to pieces with help of a knife. Honestly the worst branzino I've been served in a restaurant.
