We came into The Cabin for a pre-dinner drink and we were not disappointed! The interior was awesome like an actual log cabin. The drinks were AWESOME. I don't typically like creamy alcohol, but I couldn't pass up trying the Gimme S'more cocktail - it was delightful. Not too strong with any of the flavors, they were balanced really well! The bartender even went slow so I could record a video of the flaming marshmallow - it was so cool and definitely reminded me of camping. I also tried the Captain's Apples drink and OMG is all I have to say. I really want to go back!

This is probably one of the coolest bars I've ever been too. The drinks are delicious, the music is great. Bathrooms are clean. The blonde bartender Rachel was super sweet! (We were here Saturday 5pm). The ambiance is amazing. It really feels like (the happiest place one earth). Really cozy cabin vibes. The decor is elite, mega aura vibes. Me and my husband were planning on hitting up another bar after The Cabin but ending up staying here and ditching the next bar because this was top tier. Will definitely be back! And I can't wait.

Zero wait on a Saturday night. Cocktails were perfection. The bathroom situation (broken door lock) was remedied from last time I was there ~so that was nice to see. Always love the ambiance. Fun place. Try the s'more cocktail ~ it's what dreams are made of.

Love this unique bar that always makes me feel like I am out in the wilderness! Their crafted "cabin-themed" cocktails are yummy, but they also have a full bar if you're just looking for a simple cocktail or beer :) It's super cozy vibes inside. The logs, the mounted animal heads, the fireplace.. it's all just very comforting!

Loved the vibe here! Entering The Cabin was like walking into a ski lodge or cabin in Tahoe. The decor featured snow shoes, skis, antlers, Christmas trees, a fake fireplace, etc. I especially loved the bar itself, which had tree-stump slices on the ceiling. It wasn't super busy on a Saturday evening, and felt cozy and intimate. The most popular drink seemed to be the Gimme S'more, which looked awesome, but we decided not to get something super sweet/heavy before a concert. I asked the bartender if he could make me a drink without alcohol, and he didn't seem thrilled with the request. He said they couldn't make any mocktails, but he could do a Cherry Limeade, so I settled for that. Unfortunately, it tasted horrible. My friends both tried it as well, and agreed it was both too sweet and too sour. I only ended up taking two sips before I gave up on it. The cocktails my friends got were pretty good, including the Pearl and another drink with mezcal. Overall, worth the visit for the ambiance, but not the place to go for a zero-proof beverage.

Pretty cozy spot, definitely fits the cabin vibe. I got the cabin mule and it was a pretty good version of a Moscow mule. They have TVs in here for when sports games are on. A lot of open space so I imagine it's a good place for socializing or having large group of friends.

I absolutely love this place. The vibe is chill and the music is great overall. I do miss ordering Rainier beer in the small red igloo chest. Order their Smore drink, it's delicious! Trivia night is a blast; however, just know the place gets packed!!! I love the cabin's theme and unique design. It makes the place that much more memorable and fun overall.

I love coming to the cabin! It is one of my must stop spots here in Sac. Good vibes, good music, and of course, delicious drinks. I will be returning again and again.

I've been meaning to try this place out for so long. I remember when I heard a place like this existed nearby and I knew I had to go. The vibes are surreal in here. I felt like I was in a movie. This feels like a home that was converted into a bar. They played nothing but the hits! The people here are friendly. The drinks are delicious and decently priced. The s'more's drink was one of the craziest drinks I've ever had. Bottom Line/TLDR: killer soundtrack

This is a cool little cocktail bar in the Sacramento/Midtown area. It does feel like you are in a Lake Tahoe cabin when you are there. Nice cocktail menu. A little pricy but good drinks. I have been told it can get very busy especially during game time. We went early & were able to secure a spot at the bar. Low lighting. Comfy & cozy.

Peyton and Jessie were amazing bartenders. Such a fun group, and very accommodating. The vibe of the bar was super fun and comfy! Coming from Florida this was a great stop, thank you for the great drinks and tons of laughs! I'll see y'all next time I'm in town :D

Super cute and cozy vibes. Lighting is a little dim. They had both bar seating and tables available, I was able to easily find a seat on a Saturday night. Drinks ordered: Cactus Peak $13 Pueblo Viejo Reposado Tequila, Smirnoff Whipped Vodka, Pomegranate, Lime, Pineapple. Rating: 2/5, was craving a fruity drink and waa recommended this drink by the bartender but I didn't really taste anything but the alcohol sadly. Gimme S'more $13 Smirnoff Whipped Vodka, Chocolate, Cream, Flaming Marshmallow. Rating 5/5, this drink was so chocolatey and delicious! A little on the sweet side, which I prefer. Couldn't taste the alcohol really. Would definitely recommend and get again!

Stabbin' Cabin. Like syrup. It's a no from me.

Do you serve hot chocolate or any non-alcoholic drinks?

Yep. Most can be made this way.

Is outside food allowed? As another person said it's impossible to reach them by phone..

Yep, since I don't have a kitchen and allow you to DoorDash in

How do you get in contact with them? The phone number goes directly to a voicemail that has not been set up. I lost something there and want to know if anyone turned it in.

Is there still trivia on Tuesday?

    Yep! Come on down!

Does anyone know if the cabin serves lunch/dinner food or appetizers? I can't tell from the website, looks like just drinks?

    No food

Are you also a piano bar? It comes up on a google search but not mentioned in the web site.

    That’s weird, no piano....I wish!

Is there a happy hour? If so, what are the times?

    2-7

Is this a cash only bar?

No, I saw people paying by credit card.

Are kids allowed during the day?

Hi. Sorry but we are 21 and over.

    No food or munchies served?

We have snacks, some nut mix and jerky.

I started with the chips and guacamole. The chips were fresh, crunchy, and served warm. The guacamole was flavorful and well-balanced, sticking to a classic style without trying to do too much. For drinks, I ordered the Watermelon Raspberry Margarita. It was crisp, refreshing, and packed with flavor. Not overly sweet and not too strong, making it a great choice if you're looking for something easy to enjoy with your meal. For my entrée, I went with the Beef Tasajo tacos. The skirt steak was juicy and tender, topped with fresh onions and cilantro, and served with salsa verde and lime on the side. The tacos had that classic street taco feel, simple but satisfying. They were generously filled with meat, which I definitely appreciated. While I'm personally not a fan of purple tortillas, the quality of the steak and toppings still made these very enjoyable. My only real criticism was the water service. The cups were fairly small, and refills weren't offered as often as I would have liked. If you're thirsty, it may be worth asking for a pitcher or larger water service upfront. Overall, I left feeling full and satisfied. The food was fresh, the portions were generous, and the margarita was excellent. I'd definitely consider coming back to try more items on the menu.

But my server actually did his research and found that Blair (a main character in the show) likes her martini with a lemon twist. And that is the martini I got. Im a bit disappointed in the happy hour food…read more I've been here several times for their drinks, but something just didn't click in my most recent visit. I came here for happy hour and ordered a handful of their items. Chicken Lumpia - over all I was pleased with how piping hot, fresh out the fryer it was. A bit thin for my linking but I appreciated there were 6 pieces. The sauce did not pair well. There was something off about it that isn't your typical sweet and sour; maybe the sauce was made in house. Sisig fries - decent portion of fries but fell short on the pork. Lacked an egg and didn't really meet the sisig flavors that I'm used to. You can definitely taste the zestiness of the lemon - nice touch, but other than that it's just fries with pork, red onion and green onion garnish. Hot dog - a $9 happy hour hot dog was the biggest disappointment. Sure the bread texture was good, toasted with a nice chew, but that was it. The dog itself was charged to my linking but it really didn't feel worth the money spent for its portion. Fries - 100% would get again. Cauliflower bites - I liked this too, flavor was good but such a small portion our table has to order two. Similar to the hotdog, not sure if it's worth the spend for the portion size. Despite the food not satisfying my cravings, the service was great. The young lady was helpful and was working hard taking orders, making drinks and delivering the food. The place was pretty busy at least the indoor area. Plenty of seating outside, but in this heat not sure if it's a good idea. Didn't see any misters but would be a nice touch to draw in more folks. Side note: some of the cocktails are premade, and can be overly sweet.
