Love it when a concept is excited so well. The decor is so on point. Love the C-3PO, the giant 8 track, the pinball machines and most of all the menu. Excellent bartender. Yummy drinks. Would def come back again

Great vibes at 8 Track- Star Wars fans and peeps in general will dig this bar with its nicely-decorated walls and games in addition to the bar. The bartenders are down-to-earth and knowledgeable and I liked the holiday drinks as well as the regular cocktail menu. I also love that they're open till 2 a.m., since I'm a night owl. Thanks!

    Finally Dorian here

Came back here last night with my bestie and had a couple of drinks after a long hot day of doing errands together. I ordered from the low ABV menu since I would be driving later and it was perfect- an aperol spritz that was very bubbly and not sweet. Dorian watched the very sweet and cool girl bartender make a blue drink for the girl across the bar from us and he demanded one of his own. It was a blue Pina colada and it was refreshing and sweet. We took pics with the David Bowie light, made friends with the others at the bar, and Dorian promised the bartender he would come see her again for halloween dressed as Boy George. Can't wait to come back again and take pics of Boy and C3po. The coolest interior for any 80's lover for sure. I had a great time and the place absolutely lived up the hype for my friend. Will be back!

Wha a cute little bar! I stopped by for a drink with a friend who was visiting from out of town. It's a little out of my usual way, so I had never been before. The bar is very dim and heavily decorated. I appreciate their commitment to the theme - it really feels like a cozy place to hang out! I got a cosmo. It wasn't anything too special, but I like my drinks to be consistent so it was just right for me. Service was a little slow, especially as there were only a few other people there, but I wasn't in a rush and had a good time overall.

Came to 8-Track for their Love Island watch party with a couple friends and it was so fun but very busy! If you decide to come to any kind of watch party in the future try to get here early there's two tvs one in front of the bar and then one kinda tucked away in a booth area. This was my first time coming here and it is super cool and fun how it's decorated. It's a sci-fi themed bar with awesome murals, they have bar seating, high tops, booths/couches, and a pool table. It's right on the corner of 21st and P, parking isn't bad just all street parking from what I could tell. The drinks were nice, we got their themed drinks, and they provided free snacks which was really nice! The bartenders were nice and they handed the rush of people well!! I definitely want to come back on a regular night to get a better feel of the vibe.

Such a fun spot! They absolutely nailed the 80s theme! From the moment you walk in, it feels like you've stepped straight into a retro dream. They even have a disco ball that drops down and lights up, because obviously no true 80s vibe is complete without one! One of my favorite touches was the drink menu, their signature cocktails are displayed in comic book form, and it's so cool and creative! You can tell they really put thought into every detail: orange couches, a giant A-track on the wall, retro artwork everywhere and it all ties together perfectly. The vibe inside was super welcoming too. The bartender was great, the people hanging out were friendly, and you could tell a lot of them were regulars, which always says something about a place. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for something with character. I'm already planning to come back, and next time, you better believe I'm showing up in a full 80s outfit to match the energy!

Saw on Instagram that this place was playing Halloween movies throughout October. I looked it up and was pleased to find out it was only an 8 minute walk from me. I had driven by the building in the past but the lack of windows always made it difficult to tell what the interior offered. I was shocked at how cool this place was inside. I loved the decor and menu options. We are thrilled to add this to our list of local favorites and can't wait to go back!

    Date night!

For our date nights my wife and I often frequent venues that we are familiar with and are fond of. Although there is safety in doing so, you can find yourself easily growing bored of visiting the same spots. Therefore, I was ecstatic when we decided to end our night downtown having drinks with friends at a spot that I have had bookmarked for quite a while... 8-Track! If you have read my past reviews, you have probably gathered that I am big on places and things that evoke nostalgia; for that reason I was excited to finally visit the establishment. Entering the bar, we were greeted by a friendly employee who carded us all (being carded at 40 is so flattering). Although it was a fairly busy Saturday night, we were able to find seating against the wall for our party of six. My wife and I were both running low on energy, so we made the wise decision to order Expresso Martini's off of the cool retro looking menu. Although slightly sweeter than most Expresso Martini's that we've had, it was tasty and did the job! We definitely want to make a future visit so that we can try the elevated cocktails such as the "Ya Don't Know Jack 'N Coke" and hopefully secure the pool table (unfortunately it was occupied the entire time we were in the bar). Not sure if this is possible since it is a fairly small venue, but it would be nice to have at least two pool tables...just a suggestion - not a complaint. Thank you 8-Track!

My siblings and I had such a great time that I didn't get to take many photos while inside. It was an impromptu visit that ended up being so much fun, especially because they have the pool table inside and we played several rounds. They were playing awesome hits and I can't wait to go back. I tried the Ramos's gin fizz, and it was so delightful. The drinks were made quick! Good customer service from the bartender. They have a lot of space for seating and a small little dance floor even! Great use of space!

I had a good experience at 8-Track. My friend and I went to the Love Island finale watch party. We had an amazing time! They had us choose our couple and gave us wristbands according to the couple. Whoever won, got 10% off their next stop at 8-Track. Such a great idea and super fun. The drinks were also delicious.

I heard of this new 80's theme bar from Yelp of course! So I definitely had to check it out . The inside is all decorated 80s theme. It has so much cute decor . The art on the walls are amazing! They have a pool table going towards the restrooms with arcade games . I love the neon lights and old school vibe . For drinks I ordered a Gin Fizz it was good . The service was great everyone was night and attentive. Overall we would definitely stop here again .

I'm obsessed with 8-Track! If you were a regular at the old Press Club, walking into 8-Track will be such a time warp for you! It has gone through such a glow up. From the floors to the bar to the ceiling, this old joint received such a facelift! The moment you walk in, the 80's smacks you right in the face! The neon, the music, the VIBE is so rad! And the drinks? Epic! I've had the Cosmo and Vodka Soda; both were clearly crafted to perfection. The vodka soda will be my go-to as it's washed with coconut and so refreshing. The bartenders are so nice as well! Overall, love what they've done with the place! If you're looking for a funky and unique bar, 8-Track is the spot for you ! Ps. the bathrooms are clean (iykyk lol!).

I've heard of 8-Tract on Social Media and had to check it out. I've brought a big group here for my birthday and this place did not disappoint. Love the environment and drinks. I ordered a Singapore Sling and an Old Fashion, and both tasted amazing. Love that they do classic cocktails and how the drinks are well balanced. The bartenders are also great as well and very attentive. Overall this would be a great spot to hangout/ stop by while bar hopping. This place has history, and we should help preserve this place!

This is my first classic martini (unlike lychee martinis I've had before at other places). My server asked how I like it, with olive juice or with lemon twist or another option I don't remember. To be honest I don't know how I like it because it's is my first classic martini. So I was honest with him. I said I'll do whatever you recommend because I wanted to try a classic martini cuz I've been watching Gossip Girl. I felt silly admitting I wanted a martini because of a tv show. But my server actually did his research and found that Blair (a main character in the show) likes her martini with a lemon twist. And that is the martini I got. He brought frozen glass and poured the drink on the spot. It was such a vibe and a great drink. For food I got the grilled prawns. This dish is delicious and goes so well with my martini! For my second drink I got the shiso fresh. I was debating between two drinks and asked my server for suggestions. He is absolutely right with this recommendation. Shiso fresh is refreshing and sweet but not too sweet. I loved it. Service is wonder and drinks are tasty. I can't wait to come back!

I remember seeing it mentioned on the news too. I got there when it opened at 7pm so it was pretty quiet, but I got a good feel and vibe from the place. The manager also interacted with me and told me that just last night, the place had some popular DJ and packed the place in. He showed me a video of what the scene looked like and all I can say is wow (in a good way). The best way I think I could describe this spot would be a more intimate Las Vegas night club on the strip while not compromising the quality of cocktails and providing a multi-sensory experience of lights, sounds and energy. I left when things started to get busy but I am confident in saying that you won't be disappointed and feel like you got your money's worth for sure.... especially when they will be having events there. If you get there shortly after it opens, I think you can count on more of a lounge sort of vibe. When it starts getting later or there's a DJ spinning (especially a well known one), then the place turns into an upscale nightclub. Circling back to my experience, I tried their "Plot Twist" cocktail which consists of things like bourbon, lemon, honey, fig jam and walnut and it was one of the best cocktails I've had in a long time. Nicely balanced, smooth, inviting and little to no bite. Just a damn good cocktail that I really enjoyed. There were three bartenders there which were Karla (who made my drink), Ian (who made my second drink that I can't remember what the name was), and Danny. They were all really nice, fun and outgoing bartenders that made me feel welcomed while also maintaining a fun demeanor. I asked if it was ok with them to take their pic since some people don't like that and they were cool with it. The bar seats being a little small were surprisingly comfy and tested out the lounge seating which is also comfy and provides perfect views of everything going on (in case you ever want to reserve a spot). There is no bad seat in the house, the music system is very clear with high end audio, and overall you can tell that a lot of thought and effort was put into this place by people who know what they are doing. A couple of other things to note is that the menu they have on their counter does not display all of the cocktails. There are more on their website which you can look up by going onto their website. When they are in their busy hours, you can reserve spots and get bottle and I think that if you know it's going to be a busy night, it will be worth it to do with a group. There will probably be a door charge later in the night so be prepared for that, however I did see on their website that they do have a guestlist so take advantage of that! They do have a dress code so when in doubt, just dress to impress and you should have no trouble getting in. The average cocktail is around $15 and think it's reasonable for the kind of cocktail you will be able to get. Archive is open on certain days so be sure to double check that they are open before going. Ultimately, if you haven't been yet, this is one place you should definitely check out at least once. If you're more into the lounge vibe, get there early. If you're more into the clubbing vibe, get there a little later or check out their events for the ultimate experience. I will definitely be back and this place is raising the bar on K Street and whole area. Oh yeah, and lastly, they do accept tap to pay including Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay as well as credit/debit cards and cash. Thanks for the great time guys!
