Fantastic place for lunch. I had their renowned brisket and better than I even expected. The meat was good but also great combination of sauce and cheese. Lots of great and interesting flavors. I also substituted the cole slaw for fries, made it much more manageable and it was good slaw. I also enjoyed the fried green tomatoes, nice remoulade and well prepared.

This place is a the end of a strip mall and it's a cute little restaurant. The biscuits are delicious. The jalapeño sausage gravy is soooo good and the fried green tomatoes were amazing. I think they could do a couple things better like my son said the strawberry French toast was way too sweet. Maybe because they say it in a plate of caramel sauce. And the fruit was not fresh or it was soaked in something sweet as well which made the bread soggy. I think the savory dishes were better than the sweet. The shrimp and grits were good as well. I didn't care for the blueberry lemon pancakes either. Our server was nice. Overall pretty good experience.

A little hole in the wall located in a strip mall with parking being a little tough. There is a disabled parking space right in front however maybe a litle challenging given the slop of the space. This restaurant is very cozy with limited inside seating, there is additional outdoor seating available. I arrived mid morning and was able to secure a 2 top table indoors again - seating is very close together and you can literally reach over to the next table. Complimentary biscuits are served but we declined - we didnt want to waste food since we do not eat a large breakfast. Our breakfast tab was over $40 and felt it was a bit expensive since we only ordered - the Rooster Waffle, the Two Natural Egg breakfast and 2 beverages. The waffle and egg's are average at best but the noteworthy item was the Hashbrown Tater which is like a Hashbrown muffin and very good. Friendly staff even though our server was not that great ( even over heard another table tell her that her service needed work) Coke proucts are served but sadly no Coke Zero and the Root Beer is IBC

My husband and I returned to The Rooster this week to have one of our faves, Shrimp & Grits and to try the Hot & Crunchy Grouper. Both were perfect - the shrimp dish was even more delicious than I had remembered! We will be back soon. Thank you for your expertise in the kitchen!

Of course I was brought here by Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives and it was amazing. We got seated very quickly, which I was concerned about because the place is on the small side, but no problems. Our server was super fun and friendly. The place is small but very well decorated and there's a lot to look at, which was cool. We ordered the Texas Reuben and a Curried Chicken Salad. The curried chicken was delicious but the Reuben was to die for. It was so delicious. The fries were also incredible. Then we made a very wise decision to try the Hummingbird cake. It was like carrot cake had a baby with a pumpkin roll and that baby weighed 100 pounds! I was so full it hurt but it was a great meal. We even picked up some homemade dog treats! If I could change one thing, I wish they had fountain diet drinks. They have a few fountain drinks but the diet ones are in cans. It's absolutely not a big deal and I would go back any time!

I think I have eaten out at every brunch place in Naples as a dear friend lives there and we meet up for brunch often. So imagine my delight when she says, "let's try the Rooster" which has been on my list for awhile now. We went on a Friday morning. It was a chilly Florida day but given the size of the place we decided to sit outside. Our server was over in a flash suggesting things and then he tells me they don't have a liquor license . . .and just as I was groaning about my lack of a Bloody Mary, he says they can make one with wine as the alcohol and I won't know the difference? Really? Well you know what? he was right! We had a large sized group so we got to taste a wide variety of the menu. I had the chilaquiles with shrimp that had the fluffiest scrambled eggs on them that I have ever eaten! I would go back for that dish alone. And ask for a side of bacon as you definitely get your money's worth! I bet there were 5 pieces of bacon on that plate! We also decided to share a sweet dish so we all got a bite of the Banana Brulee french toast which was heaven on a plate! Be still my taste buds! Others at the table at the avocado toast, shrimp and grits, eggs Benedict, sausage and gravy and the chicken and waffles. Everyone said at the end of the meal that The Rooster was now our fav place in Naples. Know before you go that this place isn't fancy. If you want to use the restrooms you'll be hiking around the building to the one seat restroom in the back of the place, but that's just part of the charm! I will definitely be back! What a find!

Solid. Great food. Great service. The chicken and waffles with a side of bacon, damn, it was good. Leave the pepper jelly sauce on the chicken. The place is packed. The speaks to the food and service. The place is small, very limited parking. Worth the wait. Make sure you don't need to go to the bathroom or you'll have to walk around the whole building to get to it.

Gluten free biscuits! Normally that would be enough but the service is outstanding and the food is world class. All in a strip mall in Naples. Go if you are in the area (and go out of your way if your not) and bring your dog.

Found this place because of Diner, Drive-Ins, and Dives and was glad that I did! Super friendly staff that were very helpful with navigating the menu. The portion sizes here are massive! I got the Reuben Sandwich and it was huge. Layers upon layers of corned beef all between two slices of rye bread. The inclusion of coleslaw helps to cut through the richness of the sandwich. The only slight issues I had was that the bread got soggy too quickly. So about halfway through, the sandwich was falling apart. But other than that, the flavors were excellent and the restaurant gives up such friendly and good vibes :)

We came to snuff the rooster and we succeeded! What a brunch experience! The Bloody Mary kicked things off and it both fulfilled our thirst and our appetite! It comes with a big piece of candied bacon, a piece of pickled okra and a jalapeño stuffed olive. The spice level was nice and mild. We wanted to try as much as we could so we played plate roulette. We had to go with the Texas Rueben, the blackened snapper benne and an order of biscuits and jalapeño gravy. The ingenuity and quality of these dishes was next level! Even the hash browns are cooked like a casserole in a cupcake tin! The quality of the meat on the Texas Rueben was just perfect. Smokey with just enough fat and topped with sautéed onions and coleslaw. The fries like the hash browns are next level! Thick cut beef tallow fries make everything all right! The biscuits and gravy were so indulgent and though it is jalapeño gravy it's not too spicy, in fact nothing was overly spicy. The snapper benne was made with fresh fish and went perfectly with the lemony hollandaise sauce. We also had to go full circle and get a huge piece of Mama's hummingbird cake. The server was friendly and attentive even though she was being run ragged. Not a lot of seating inside or out so there is a good chance you're waiting. Absolutely can't wait to come back and slip into another self induced food coma!

I went to The Rooster for lunch with my husband and daughter. I ordered their Curried Chicken Salad. My husband got their Fried Chicken Sandwich. My daughter got their Short Rib Benedict special. My husband and daughter liked their meals. I thought my meal was just ok, just too much mayo in my chicken salad. We sat on their patio outside to eat, which was nice. Our server was nice and personable. Overall, pretty decent experience.

Let's just say, I was not expecting the outstanding service or better yet a delightful and deliciously prepared dinner. The owner prepares the meal and is obviously an outstanding chef. The outside and inside seating areas are cozy, but not fancy. However, the rolls are homemade and simply out of this world. Parking can be challenging, but there is available space behind Roosters if the front lot is full. You will definitely be a regular once you have tasted the gourmet (homemade) dinners and desserts. This review is from a snowbird who has tried many Naples establishments, however, this is my new go to restaurant! read more

Wow this place was good. Totally unexpected in a small strip mall. I had the most delicious ceaser salad. The bacon bits are legit pieces of bacon from a farm. Chicken was grilled to perfection, nice a juicy. Lettuce had perfect crunch and perfect amount of dressing, with homemade croutons. My bf had the eggs and pancakes. The eggs are from a local farm, very yummy. And the lemon pancakes with blueberries were absolutely divine. Never thought of lemon being such a hit in pancakes! Im going to have to experiment at home. We can't wait to come back and try everything on the menu. And I love the support of small farms this restaurant encourages. A much deserving mention to the staff. Very nice and seem to love where they work. Such a pleasure. Great find ! read more

Great little hidden gem! Amazing food and service! Had the avocado toast and I gotta say, this was the best I've ever had in my life. The chef made my eggs perfectly and the way they put a twist on it by adding strawberries and honey to it, made it surprisingly tasty. I also got hints of lime juice and salt on the avocados themselves. Also, the coffee was pretty tasty as well. The service was so nice and fast, I really like it here and I think I might become a regular. read more

This is a two part review, both positive. The rooster is open for dinner and it was great. We had pork belly bites, fried green tomatoes, almond crusted grouper, fried chicken, and Mac and cheese. Oh and our great server, Mary Ann, brought us incredible biscuits to start off. Everything we had was delicious and distinctive. We will go back again. Part two: We heard about this restaurant from a friend at coffee. She went on about the breakfast and the biscuits. We looked on line and decided to go for dinner. At first glance, it is not an impressive location. It's like a store front dinner with inside and patio seating. But, the food is chef driven, delicious and elevated southern quinine. We cannot recommend this enough. read more

Something extraordinary!! Hidden treasure. While I was there I heard they were hosting Tuesday night dinner with set menu and limited seating. I stopped by one morning while vacationing in Naples. All I got were two biscuits with butter an jam. They were absolutely delicious. Next time I'm in Naples I will definitely make it a point to eat there. The place is super cute and the lady who took care of me was ver nice. read more

I love trying places that don't have a ton of reviews or may be slightly new but I'm always a smidge skeptical doing so while traveling. In town you hear some buzz via social media or word of mouth. We took the risk. This place wasn't close to us. It was actually the opposite way from where we were going buuuuut I wanted to go anyway. When we arrived the open sign was on but the lot empty. As I opened the door the dinning area was too. My husband gave me a look but I sat down anyway! The smell coming from the kitchen was on point, the dinning area was clean and well decorated... Why not!?!? I'm so glad we did! Service was great, the cook time felt a little long but not overly ( considering it's fresh food and we were the 1st customers of the day) and the food was delicious! The chicken and waffles were flavorful and had the perfect savory/sweet balance. I would have loved some southern style collards with them. I noticed that the waffles weren't round. I picked at the dish and realized the waffles were shaped! A cute barn and rooster! Such a great extra! The biscuits, were yummy too. I always compare biscuits and gravy to Maple Street. These were pretty on point. They needed a little more heat though. All in all we had a great experience. I would suggest changing the coffee cups though. I didn't drink much of mine because the cup was too hot to hold. Additionally, people mentioned the price. The prices are a bit steep. I'd expect to pay $30 for the meal we had not $40+. read more

Great place to dine at for brunch! Took the family to Rooster and no one was disappointed. The people there are very friendly and welcoming, especially our waiter Mike. I ordered their Rooster Benne and it was so delicious, highly recommend it if someone wants a delicious twist from their typical Eggs Benedict. My daughter ordered the Blueberry and Lemon pancakes and they were also fantastic. It was the first time any of us ordered the flavor combo and she LOVED it. But the best dish ordered was Chicken and Waffles, the sweet chili sauce served on the juicie fried chicken was a great pairing. We will definitely be returning to have that one more time. Overall, great experience and delicious food! read more

This place is absolutely amazing. We got the banana brûlèe French toast, jalapeño biscuits and gravy , the blueberry and lemon pancakes and an omelette! EVERY SINGLE PLATE was fresh, hot, quality ingredients. Very light on the stomach for active small people like me . Tried this new spot for breakfast. You'd miss it if you weren't looking for it, but it's worth the effort. Always have to try chicken and waffles if it's available and today it was a chef's special. The waffles were slightly under cooked for my taste but the rooster and farm house shape was a nice touch. The chicken breast was moist and flavorful and served with a red pepper jelly (something unexpected)...really good! The egg sandwich was generous and the French style scrambled eggs were my wife's favorite... They also have a small patio to accommodate the dog!! We'll be back!! read more

Small little spot in a shopping center but nothing short of delicious. The spot was cozy and the service was great. We had the specials for the day. Wow!!! Why wasn't this place packed morning, noon & night!? The owner chef obviously loves food & treats even a lowly egg (& in my case Shrimp-&-Grits) with tender care. Coffee is rich, robust & delicious served in a tin cup. The Rooster theme could have been over done, but it is not. The place is cute as a button, clean as all get out...but best, DELICIOUS! Go! Absolutely adorable little cafe that's insanely delicious!!! The omelette are amazing-- I built my own--pimento cheese with pork belly. It was so light and fluffy and made to perfection. The biscuits are a must try with the homemade strawberry jam. Everything here is scratch made and the staff was so nice. We cannot wait to come back and try this hidden gem for lunch and dinner sometime! read more

The only thing wrong with this spot: it is impossible to pick a meal... everything on the menu sounds TOO amazing to choose. We eventually did narrow down our order- fried green tomato benedict, shrimp and grits, and home biscuits with jam- and everything was perfection. It was the best shrimp and grits I've ever had in my entire life, it has ruined me for all others. I want to go back to Naples just for this restaurant. The mimosas were strong, the staff was kind and considerate (went during covid), and the food was great. Can't ask for more read more

This place is quite the gem! My boyfriend and I completely fell in love with this place. Everything was top notch from the exceptional service to the food. The chicken and waffles were amazing! And the blueberry lemon pancakes were to die for! I'm so happy we decided to branch out and try somewhere new for breakfast. Southern Breakfast Classics Omelette w asparagus and crab was phenomenal. Eggs were very light and fluffy-very-and the hollandaise was complimentary, not overpowering. Staff super friendly and outgoing--go to for breakfast. Wonderful experience!! read more

Ordered the blueberry and lemon pancakes. It comes with nice thick meaty bacon, and a hash brown biscuit. Their pancakes were kinda like Swedish pancakes style, thin and delicate. I really liked them, they were so good that no syrup or butter was necessary. read more

This place has some awesome food. I highly recommend this place for a tasty brunch. I went there and had the jumbo crab cake Benedict and it was amazing! My boyfriend and his parents tried other stuff on the menu and it all looked and tasted good. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because there is barely any seating. It's just a small area that even before covid there was limited seating. I wouldn't recommend this palace if you are going with a big party of people. But it's definitely worth the wait if you have four or less people! read more

From Miami and come up to Naples all the time. Made the drive over from Marco Island just to have a birthday breakfast/brunch here for the first time. Absolutely spectacular, flavorful food, and exceptional service. Get the bacon! Also, anything "benedict" phenomenal. Thoughtful and very competent staff, and just an awesome experience. read more

We had breakfast at the Rooster for the first time this morning. Wow - it was so good! I had the blueberry lemon pancakes and my husband had an omelette. It's a scratch kitchen so everything was fresh and delicious. Both meals came with a hash brown biscuit that was amazing. The bacon melts in your mouth. So so good. Service was very attentive. The establishment was very clean. We will be back for sure. read more

Went to Naples as a quick trip with my 18 y.o. daughter and found this gem!! Oh my goodness, so filling and so yummy! The menu is not huge, but there's something for everyone, (but guaranteed carbs with every meal..) and the staff was very welcoming and clearly love working here. Such an inviting energy!! There is a lot to love about this place! I love the simple clean interior, the plates, tables and decor. I love the large bottle of ice water on my table. What I love love love are the tiny hitchers of 1/2 & 1/2 for their delicious strong brew. I hate hate hate those tiny small packs of cream! The four waitresses are very warm and accommodating and the chefs and kitchen staff do a nice warm smile and wave which I appreciate! But most importantly is the food. I had the Rooster Benne with Lemon Hollandaise guaranteed to send you straight to Heaven. The shrimp and grits were as good or better than anything have had in New Orleans. The fresh biscuit with homemade Jam is a religious experience. I noticed a review or two mentioned the prices are high, well folks you get what you pay for and quality products cost at little more. I also notice one rude mention of a gay bar and to those of you that don't know it is a decent restaurant with great karaoke. This place is a little piece of Heaven and could I just mention that Lemon Hollandaise again! They also serve espresso, latte and such but the coffee is sooooooooooooo good I haven't had it.
