My wife and I stopped by for a late dinner. We were the only one's in the restaurant at 8:00 on a Saturday night. My wife got the Hercules skillet with pancakes and I got the Greek island salad which came with a bowl of soup. They had about four different choices of soup which was great. I got the spinach and mushroom which was to die for. My salad had just about everything you would put on a salad but the kitchen sink. The pita bread was very tasty. Probably the most tasty pita I've ever had at a restaurant. Everything was very fresh tasting. The gyro meat wasn't as good as other places but wasn't bad either. The waitress was very courteous and came back to our table to refill our drinks and ask us if everything was good a couple times. My wife loved her skillet and she said the pancakes were light and fluffy. This was my third time eating here and the food seems to get better every time. They made a fresh pot of coffee for my wife and my iced tea tasted like it was freshly brewed. We will be back often. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are large. I like what they did to fix up the place and the parking lot is very well lit at night. I have them four stars because I feel they should down size the menu so it's not so huge and confusing. read more

This is a diner I really enjoyed when it opened. Great service, great all-American style diner food, huge menu selection, and very clean. I am now very concerned for its future. While the staff are all very friendly, the serving has slowed to a crawl (15 minutes to get bowl of soup, was asked if I wanted crackers, said yes, never got them), 25 min for fish sandwich, no coffee refill. Maybe just a bad day, BUT, can't find a good way to excuse, smelly, unclean rest rooms -- always makes me wonder about the conditions in the kitchen!!! read more

My bad for not looking but under the circumstances the manager could have made a small adjustment and this would not be happening. They have price for 1,2,3 ea. pancakes. With the price progressively decreasing for ea additional pancake. 1ea =3.99, 2ea=4.99, 3ea = 5.99. So they charged me for 3ea. and 1ea.??? Just does not seem right. I am boycotting the place. I will still ask that everyone shares this post. I am a business man and fairness in the practice of business is a matter of principal. To take advantage of a customer as in this instance is not fair and shows direct disregard for the customer. Let's face it. Had I ordered 1 the 3.99 price would be acceptable. Due to scheduling I had asked them to bring me something home... BIG MISTAKE! I can't speak to their dine in experience but I can say never order their taco salad. I heard they have a big diverse menu but they don't know taco salad. I didn't make this choice but those who did said they told them it was lettuce tomato cheese olives and grilled chicken (they also have beef). Ok can you really screw that up... well they can and did. First they didn't have a to-go box big enough for it. They wrapped it up poorly in foil and it leaked in bag. I open it to find spinach and all the greens that they call lettuce but looks more like they weeded the property. Finally found the chicken... it was cold with no flavor. a little cheese and then I found that grocery store lettuce mix... carrots and red cabbage and iceberg lettuce which was brown. Even the bowl had a funny taste like it was premade and went bad. They were not overly impressed about their dine in experience but noted a lot of breakfast being eaten at dinner. They would do better to 86 the taco salad and pare the menu down to work on quality. read more

And every time I get an order of the grilled biscuits we have no eaten here too much for lunch or dinner items, but we have tried there gyro and taco salad. Both were good. This homey restaurant is worth going out of your way to visit, at least at breakfast. The portions are mammoth and delicious. One of their skillets would easily serve 2, and we learned after eating that they will split them upon request. The service is superior. Just opened a week ago it sounds. Massive menu with pasta, sandwiches, steaks, seafood, soups, anything you could want. Prices are reasonable. Server missed one order of soup with the meal but boxed it up to go when asked. A decent place, clean inside for breakfast or lunch. In search for something new, new food, new experience, new place. Googled this place I hoped it will be a good time with good food. I was wrong. I'm an African American male walking into a place where I'm the only Black man there. That's wasn't the problem, the problem was I told to be seated anywhere of my choice, I believed that was the process. Me and my wife was sitting there for 28 minutes without being acknowledged. The woman that told us to seat ourselves never gave us menus, silverware, nor napkins. After waiting, someone finally came by and said have anyone helped you? Keep in mind the table was completely blank so it's obvious no one helped us. The woman that told me to go seat myself was also my waitress. We heard the words "I'm sorry" at least 10 times or more. The food was wrong, everything was wrong, she never brought our water. We also noticed all the other White customers was being seated with eating utensils, menus and their drink within 2 minutes of seating. We felt very racially profiled and not welcomed. On the exit of paying for my bill for the food, the manager didn't say anything to us but stuck his and out for the payment. We are people of very good taste and respect so to be treated the way we where treated was is very poor taste, buyer beware! read more

We love coming to this place on Sunday morning, the restaurant is very clean and the.deco makes you feel at home, we had a very nice male server, I can't remember his name, he made sure we were taken care of and everything was great I had the Hercules skillet which was huge with marble rye toast the butter they put on the toast makes it soggy so I would suggest ordering your toast dry, since they have butter on the table. My husband had the hungry man, eggs were cooked perfect exactly over medium which not a lot of restaurants seem to accomplish. Coffee was hot and refills kept coming I wish they would've had cholula instead of Tabasco. We will return read more

Not very well trained at this restaurant. My 2 daughters and I ordered breakfast waited 25 min and still no food. The table is 2 that was next to us that arrived ten min after is received theirs so I asked them to check on ours. I was given the excuse that they were cooking it and that the other table ordered less food so they made theirs first. Absolutely makes no sense. Had to take it to go since now we are almost 45 min there and had somewhere to be. Will never go back again and no thanks to the $3 credit on the bill for the inconvenience.
