Had the bbq ribs save yourself the time and money. Tasted like they had been par boiled and slipped under the grill a touch too long. Covered with what appeared to be catsup. Not a hint of taste. This is definitely the neighborhood hangout spot of Swansea! Fletcher's has lots of regulars, and if you grew up or currently live in the area, you're bound to see people you know each time you visit. The parking situation is very convenient. Because of the Clinton Hills park behind Fletcher's, there's plenty of parking options throughout the lot. When the weather is nice, Fletcher's has a nice patio that overlooks the park. If you want to sit inside, there's lots of booths, tables, and hightops available. They can also accommodate larger groups. Additionally, they have a private event space downstairs that you can reserve in advance. I recently visited on a Monday night, so they were having their weekly special of $3 house martinis. I ordered a lemon drop martini. Such a good deal! Their food is sometimes hit or miss in my opinion, but my safest options are their garlic cheese toast, cheese quesadilla, their burgers, and their pizzas. Our server was friendly, but they were SUPER crowded, so it took us a long time to get our drinks, garlic cheese toast, and salad. I had a Birthday celebration on Sunday of this week. The food was GREAT, ambiance was good after we cleaned the facility before setting up. It was a disappointment that we had to clean up and still had to pay a gratuity. Please have your workers to be a little more attentive to the cleaning of a phenomenal facility. For a place "known for its burgers" I was really disappointed. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger medium and my woman ordered the patty melt. The burger patties looked like dense premade patties you might get from a bowling alley walk up counter. My medium burger was well done and average. This is my second time here in two years. The place should be good! The atmosphere is great, the view is great! However, it fell short on both visits. The first visit was ok right up to the point we found hair in our food, kinda gross, but it happens. So, today my son wanted to stop after practice and I asked if he was sure, we agreed, and I figured "what the heck." We walked in, we were promptly greeted and sat by the bartender. Our waitress came by, took a drink order. When she came back and wanted our order, I asked for a BLT. Now, they don't have BLTs on the menu and I'm fine with that, But, they usually accommodate at their other Belleville site. She said "no can do on the BLT." I said "oh, ok, I'm sorry, huh, I can usually get one." I really was ok with this as it's was a request. I then find out it is because they are out of bacon! Half the darn items on the menu have bacon in them. Seriously, I counted. So, when she came back around I asked and she said that I could have anything without bacon. My son ordered chicken tenders that we ended up splitting. They were actually pretty good! So, my reason for the low rating, the service as horrible, never mind the bacon! We saw our waitress one more time at least fifteen minutes later. In the meantime I had gone to the bar to get drink refills. I watched several tables get up and leave due to the poor service. I wish I had, and was considering it when she dropped the tenders off without comment. The place wasn't especially busy on a Tuesday afternoon with only two waitresses working it seemed manageable. So, I've held off on a review because I have been hopeful they would figure it out. The staff is trying so hard but dispite the lack of any leadership during peak times Fletchers is bound for closure. I will admit we are adamant Monday night customers for the wonderful steak and martini specials but over the last five to six months the service has gotten so bad that i am trying to talk our friends and my wife from going there. At first I thought it was staffs fault but I am confident now that it is due to the lack of management that is NEVER present on a busy Monday evening. I work in the industry and adjust my hours based accordingly and when my business is busy I am there washing glasses, clearing tables carrying orders. Where is the manager? Not present. You'd better figure it out because we as loyal customers of years are looking for other options!!!!! read more

Hubby and I came here for our first visit. I was craving a delicious hand pattied burger that tasted like a wood fire! These burgers weren't for sure hand pattied, but the flavor was wonderful!!! We ordered them medium well; they came out well done. You may choose one side to go with your sandwich. He had the seasoned French fries,(typical fries, seasoned with season salt.) I selected the grilled zucchini; it was good with a strong wood fired taste! They serve Pepsi products, a definite plus! I tried their red sangria. I did not detect a wine presence, strong flavor of pineapple juice. The waitress was friendly when conversing with her; otherwise, the service was unsatisfactory. She dropped off our bill while hubby was still eating. She brought our check to us. Didn't ask if we wanted dessert; I had already decided I had to try their bread pudding! Served warm with a bourbon sauce! So tasty!! His brownie was just a cake brownie with whipped cream on top, nothing special. Then the waitress didn't acknowledge our leftover desserts. We had to ask for boxes. The scenery here overlooking the golf course was so peaceful and serene. Outside seating is available. Would like to return and try other menu selections. read more

I love this Fletcher's location. Some of my favorite things to get.....On the healthier side, I get the Feta Shrimp Salad or the Bourbon Glazed Salmon with the grilled Zucchini and broccoli as the sides. My boyfriend loves the Thai chicken salad. When I'm not thinking about calories, the Ed Harley Pasta is soooooo good. The restaurant overlooks the Clinton Hills Conservation area so it's a pretty view, and they have a disk golf course if you want to go after your meal! read more

Yesterday's special was Taco Salad; comprised of greasy ground beef, a bed of tortilla chips, 4 lettuce leaves, grated cheese and 2 small plastic containers of sour cream and salsa. Grease had settled on the bottom of the dish, and the entire "salad" was inedible. Awful lunch! ! Three of us ordered this special, and nobody took more than 2 bites. I LOVE COMING TO FLETCHER'S Swansea! The staff and owners are so nice and professional. The food is GREAT! I strongly suggest the Bourbon Salmon, garlic whipped mashed potatoes and another side of your liking. I also love the BBQ Rib tip basket, and pretty much everything else!!! Drinks are good and the outside dining and atmosphere are AMAZING! Outdoor dining is Very family/child/pet friendly. Had the corned beef and cabbage yesterday. It was meh. Not very hot, cabbage was still growing it was so undercooked, two tiny potatoes and one carrot. The corned beef was bland and not cut properly. They have one of the best outdoor patios around. The servers are always friendly, and we love the atmosphere. The sliders are my favorite!

Came here for a going away and the service was good. I think the waitress might have been waiting for other people to show up since she didn't come back to the table for a while. Had to flag her down, but she was pleasant. My friends beer took 20 min to show up so not sure what the hold up was either, but the food was DELICIOUS. Thank you Chloe... It is so often in life that we find ourselves so used to our beaten path, that to stray from it invokes a weird anxiety. This place is a mere 3 miles from out house, down a road ( a main road,not a dirt path) that we had never turned onto. In the three years of being posted at Scott AFB, we have been to the same 8 places 40 times. A couple of those are chains (yes I am shamed, as I should be). It was an accident of fate that made me aware of Fletchers. I was to meet our Chief of Police for lunch, he had to cancel. So I took my lovely bride since the calendar had been cleared. It was nice to go on a spontaneous lunch date. It's the age of Covid-19, so we dined outside on a patio overlooking the Conservation Park, nice Fall day, sunny but cool wind, nearly perfect. My wife had a patty melt, I got a western burger. Both cooked as we asked, fresh and hot. The fries were good (we've eaten more fries in the last week than we had all pandemic!) No problems or issues at all- great service, polite, attentive. We will try to make it back before we leave the area at the end of Nov. We found Fletchers, better late than not at all. read more

This was my first time going to this restaurant. It's pretty new, but my friends had been there before and really liked it. I did too! We started out with the pork rines and chips and salsa. Both were really good! I had the fried cod appetizer for a meal which was very tasty, and a couple of my friends eaves about the chicken salad. We met friends at the Collinsville Rd location. Staff was very polite. Our friends arrived And needed space for a wheelchair. They were very accommodating to my friend. We ordered beverages I had a Diet Pepsi. I enjoyed a chicken salad with fresh fruit which was quite delicious. I look forward to coming to this restaurant again their surroundings were beautiful and I look forward to being out there in the spring when everything comes alive. Wow! Don't get sat in the wrong section by the hostess only to rudely moved by a not so nice staff member for sitting where we were told to sit with our dog. We love taking our Golden anywhere that will allow pets. Decided to try Fletchers for the 1st time and was greeted by an awesome hostess that said sit anywhere. So we did. We sat on the upper level by the back steps. Halfway through drinks and appetizer a not so friendly staff member came up to our table and said very rudely "no dogs on the upper level" to which we replied this is where we were sat. To which the staff member, "yeah well, they didn't know...I'm moving you". No, I'm sorry for the mix up, let me help you get your stuff, just rushed off and slammed some tables around. Enjoyed a nice lunch here with some coworkers. The restaurant is huge and very beautiful inside. Plenty of space for group dinners. Enjoyed some cocktails, I ordered my go to which is a Long Island ice tea. Definitely five stars for the ice tea as it was nice and strong and flavorful. I had two! My coworkers enjoyed their drinks as well. For appetizers we got wings, chips and salsa and spinach dip. The spinach dip was a bit bland could use a little more seasoning. The salsa was good if you like a nice smoky flavor. The buffalo wings were soooo good, nice and crispy and wet. Not too spicy but just enough heat. Definitely will be going back for more of those! For my main course I ordered the salmon club with fries and a side salad. The side salad came out first, it was beautiful! Very fresh lettuce and vegetables. The salmon club was good, I love that they have that in the menu as I love salmon no it's even better in a sandwich! The fries were good as well. The main reason why I gave only 3 stars was because they did mess up one of my coworkers orders and she had to watch everyone else eat while she waited in her meal. Big NO NO! A disappointing experience - which is a bummer because we love the Belleville location. While the waiter was great, I think the kitchen made some errors. 1. My wife's salad came out and within 2 minutes her steak showed up, which isn't the end of the world on it's own...but then it got worse. 2. Our food showed up before the kids food. We waiting nearly 10 minutes until our kids' food arrived at the table. My assumption is that the kitchen forgot about it. While mistakes happen, my frustration was mounting. 3. I ordered my steak medium and while the very center was medium, it was obvious that the steak had been left on one side to cook way too long. One half of the steak (lengthwise) was like shoe leather and the other half was acceptable. Poor form. Based on our experience at the Belleville Fletchers, I had high hopes for this location, but we won't be returning. That was $60 down the drain. read more

HISTORICALLY would go here 2-3 Sunday afternoons a month. Food usually good. Soups usually great. SERVICE NOT SO MUCH. I tip well. AT LEAST 25% of total bill. (I put myself through college working in food industry). Today went. Got there at 2:30. Three tables outside and one inside. 3 servers on. Initially great and order was slow. Ok....waited and waited and waited for follow-up finally added some soup and a second beer. Finished. Waited and waited and waited. It was at least 20 min before waitress finally came. But clearly my one person bill was less important than all other tables. Note she would have gotten a bigger tip from me than most her 4-toppers. I cannot EVER remember not tipping but I didn't today. It is 4:30 and I finally got my bill, paid just for food and left. Too many other places to eat. I won't be back!! read more

I ordered the Fredo's pasta with garlic bread. It wasn't hot but rather luke warm!! And there hardly was any alfredo sauce either. I am not at all too impressed with the service neither. My mom's sandwich didn't have much mayo which is disappointing indeed. I don't know if we'll be back but guessing not!!!! Went to fletchers to take a walk and then get dinner. Sat outside atmosphere was very nice. Short staff. Took forever to get service. Ordered a mountain man burger supposed to have Swiss cheese sautéed mushrooms and onions ordered lettuce and tomato on the side with fries ordered a side salad a half an hour later the burger came out cold with a slice of Swiss cheese And nothing else with pile a salad on the plate. We like this place but today we are very disappointed. We ordered salads there just to get the roasted garlic salad dressing and spent $37 on the total bill and the salads came with no dressing. This place is dying and shouldn't be open. It needs management, new cooks, and maybe a new owner fast!! The cooks could be heard as we were sat right next to their door, bashing customers and owners. We arrived at the restaurant at 5:30, and at first the service was ok. Our waiter took our drink order and kept up on refills. After about 15 minutes then our order was taken. We sat and waited 30 minutes and no food. All the tables who were sat after us all had their food already. We asked our server what was taking the food so long, and he told us our food hadn't even been made yet because they ran out of fries for our order. Why wait to make our food and then wait to tell us that our food hasn't been made yet just because they ran out of fries. We could've already had our food if we'd been told about the fries and given a replacement side. So we had been sat and waited 50 minutes for our food, and then just got told it would be another 30 for our food to be made. Absolutely ridiculous this occurred.
