JAM & TOAST BRUNCH
Sean C.

Brunched with the whole family here before going to see Wicked. We all did the family style brunch and it was great. Tons of food and all of it was pretty good. The French toast is delicious and I'm normally not a huge fan in the mornings. The Bloody Mary was massive and good. It had a different flavor so I described it as odd but good

Super friendly staff upon being greeted, showing us to our table and servers. I love the design style, feels very rustic as their name indicates. Simple but nice interiors. Wide open spaces full of plenty of dining tables. The outdoor space offers picnic tables and smaller tables, all spread out and offer views of the stage. Live music starting on Wednesdays and going into the weekend. I ordered a rustic burger. Fantastic flavor and juicy not over powering. Watch out for the green chile, it will make some tear up. The servers were all super friendly and always with a smile on their face. Thank you for a great first visit.

Sunday Brunch

This place is always amazing! We love coming here with our kids for brunch. It's probably the most unique brunch experience in the Dallas area--a family-style feast with 7-8 delicious courses. And the spicy fried chicken is hands down the best I've ever had! The live music creates a fun atmosphere, the service is always attentive and friendly, and the overall experience never disappoints. Rustic has been our family's go-to spot for about 12 years, and it continues to be one of our favorite places for a weekend brunch. Highly recommend for families, great food, and a fun Dallas brunch experience!

This is a fun brunch spot to add to the rotation, especially if you like live music. You have the option of eating indoors or outdoors, and we chose indoors. Happy to report they have covered, heated seating outside though so don't fret if you can get a table inside. The service was solid, and our waiter was decently attentive. Standouts for me were the Texas Hot Chicken (just a little kick but the right amount) and the Banana Pudding (salted caramel is the secret weapon)! The avocado toast was ok, but I wouldn't come for it alone. For drinks, I got the Bellini and also tried the Ginger Yuzu mocktail; the mocktail was my favorite. Pro tip - you can order any dish from the "family style brunch" section à la carte

We had our company event here at the rustic in Dallas and the venue is spacious lively, and there was a whole stage for live music although the ambience is really good. We did have Catering buffet style food. Unfortunately, the food was just okay. I expected a little bit more, not a fan.

Went for brunch. Paid about $22 Got some sort of egg frittata thin (pretty good), biscuits and gravy (pretty dang great), thick bacon (good), fried chicken (amazing), avocado toast (good), potatoes (delicious), cucumber jicama salad (....), and lemon bars with fruit (it's okay). But the highlight was definitely the French toast. My goodness some of the best French toast I've had. For the amount you get, I'd say it's a bit expensive, but not too bad. Some items were amazing, others need to be changed. The customer service was amazing as well. I'd say it's worth the visit.

If you haven't visited The Rustic yet, you need to make a stop there! They have live music on their stage, which is really enjoyable, but we came specifically for their amazing brunch. Our waiter, G, was fantastic--he answered all our questions and made sure we had a great time. The brunch is definitely worth it; we went with a group of seven, and the price was around $19.95 or $20.00 per person, so we all decided to go for it. When the food arrived, it was delicious! The eggs, bacon, French toast, and more were all exceptional. And let me tell you, the bellini was delightful. Just be sure to make a reservation to guarantee a table, as they have both outdoor and indoor seating. I highly recommend this place!

We came here as a spur of the moment. We ordered a burgerand the drink that was on special. The atmosphere is cool. I like coming here more for the brunch vibe.

Ask the Community - The Rustic

Do they offer any music other than country?

They have all types of Bands and music.

Do they have outside tv's to watch college football?

No outside TVs. However, bring a laptop or your phone and you are all set. This place is more of a social gathering and live venue rather than a sports bar. Very few TVs

Just to clarify are dogs allowed?

No. It is not a dog friendly restaurant. That is literally it's only flaw. Food is great. Atmosphere is great. Workers are great, but no dogs allowed.

Can we make reservations ? Also, can people under 21 eat there?

You can't make reservations for brunch but you can for any other dining options. And yes, 21 and under can eat there

Is the live music indoor or outdoor, especially in the afternoon?

The stage is split between inside and out

Can I make reservations?

Yes! We take reservations only a week out, and up to 19 people. We recommend calling exactly a week in advance to be guaranteed a reservation.

Is there a way to order drinks at the bar (rather than waiting for a server to come to you and take your order)?

Yes, of course. They have a U-shaped bar you can walk up to and order a drink from.

Can you make reservations online?

Yes! Go to RESY.com and you can reserve a table on there.

Can you order from the regular menu on Saturdays before 3 or is only the brunch menu available?

It will only be our brunch menu. We have a few items from our dinner menu ie. Hot Chicken and Cheese and Texas Cheesesteak.

Is there any live music these days?

Yes! You can find the schedule on their website: https://therustic.com/musicevents/

Can you order off the regular menu as well during their brunch hours on Saturday and Sunday?

It will only be our brunch menu. We have a few items from our regular menu (ie. Hot chicken and cheese and Texas Cheesesteak).

Does The Rustic in Dallas offer Sunday brunch?

Uh yeah

What are the parking options and prices? Any free parking nearby?

There is free parking immediately in front and close by on side street.

When is happy hour?

Monday-Friday 3-5pm 3$-5$

Do I need to bring an ID to get in? I mean if they scan ID at their door?

No they don't. Waiters/bartenders will ask if you order drinks.

Do I have to reserve if I go with a group of friends?

Not at all! We actually only take reservations for parties of 25 or more, so come on in and we'll get you a seat as soon as possible. The patio and the bar are always open seating, and the hostess will find you a table!

Do they take reservations for larger parties or call ahead?

They do not take reservations.

What is the average age group?

25-40 was the dominant age range. There were a few families with small kids and a few older kids with elder-ish parents.

I hate when places don't put drink prices, I don't like that kind of surprise...I was wondering how crazy expensive are the popsicle frozen drinks?

13.95 for the rimy Rita with a sangria pop in it

Thankfully, that is NOT the experience I had at Haywire! I ate here on August 9th, 2025 and enjoyed everything about it. I was with a large party but would love to return for a more intimate experience. On this Saturday, my younger cousin was graduating from Parker University so I was in town for the weekend. At around 1pm, I was one of the first to arrive at the restaurant. Unfortunately the parking is a bit confusing. There was construction being done on the same street when I went but there's a parking garage for customers that's difficult to navigate AND the elevator that connects wasn't operating at the time which was an issue for many (but not me, I got a good spot & walked). My party hadn't all arrived yet so I took a gander. Upon entering the tall doors, the space breathes southwestern elegance: wooden structure, leather seating, separate dining areas with highlighted ranch-style art. The abundance of space gives it an open-concept feel. The lighting fixtures are modern, the space was dim but not too low, with an option to utilize the large windows also. I was quiet impressed at the overall presentation. When my party did arrive, I wanted to keep it simple so I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and a Hibiscus Haze with Vodka. The table shmoozed as we ate some of the appetizers: the Crab Dip & Green Tomatoes, both amazing. The food did take some time but, considering it was 10-12 of us, that's expected. The Hibiscus Haze was splendid: smooth & flavorful, a great concoction. Cobb salads are usually pretty thick but this one was HEARTY. It came in a large bowl stuffed with the all the toppings. The dressing it was tossed with was well balanced but could've used a tad bit more. With some pepper & a little ranch, I was set! I defeated the salad but it also left me stuffed to the gills. Satisfying meal that I would order again! There are tons of restaurants to dine at in Dallas & sometimes you never know which is worth your time. Despite the inconvenience of parking, I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is a good place to eat. Whether you want a fine dining experience, it's a special occasion or just want a good drink with a meal, Haywire has enough to satisfy all interests.

We were seated near the kitchen so we could see all the hustle and bustle. Parking was easy, we found the garage and took note of the parking spot level. Thankfully they give free parking validation, so make sure to scan the code once inside. Food was good. We ordered drinks then appetizer of pork belly. I enjoyed it. For entrees, I had the chicken fried chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes. It was good and plenty because I had to take some with me. I would come back here and try some other dishes.

The food was delicious. They have a lot of great options on the menu, offer late night happy hour on the weekends (!) and are open late. For this visit we tried: - Roasted crab claws - 100/10. We ate every drop the beurre blanc we could scoop up with the bread! - Fried wings - 10/10 - Velour Ceasar + shrimp 9/10. It was over dressed, but the dressing was good and it was a great portion for 1/2 sized. I normally ask for it on the side so that's truly my miss. My friend had the sticky ribs and Tx Cobb salad 1/2 sized). She really enjoyed them but I unfortunately couldn't try since they contained pork. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful with making decisions for our meal and drink suggestions for my friend. This gem sits in Victory Park and has both in and outdoor seating options. It's such a vibe when you enter in - decorated well and whether a DJ or a playlist I had friends visiting recently who were looking for a place on a Thursday night and they raved about how great of a recommendation it was They also serve brunch so I can't wait to give it a try.
