Visited Palma on a Saturday around 1pm. We were able to get a table inside, no wait. I love the vibe of this restaurant. It's very pretty inside. The food we tried was yummy. The queso I really enjoyed because it's different than other spots. Espresso martini was very sweet, so I enjoyed it. I do wish they had sushi during lunch time on the weekend: :( the sushi doesn't start until 3pm, so that was a bummer. They had a dj during brunch, great vibes. Also they have a speakeasy called ghost donkey that opens at 3pm, definitely want to visit soon.

Tried this spot out before attending an event at the comedy club. Since this restaurant is in deep ellum, parking is challenging. The restaurant does validate parking but up until 5pm. We visited for happy hour and tried the sample platter , sushi and all the happy hour drinks . I did enjoy the sample platter - not huge fan of charred edamame. I enjoyed the queso and the fried the most . The drinks were just ok The restaurant is nice. It has a patio/outside area and the service is really good. Recommend checking out. Also, I liked that the music wasn't loud .

Upon entering Palma, I was immediately impressed with the decorations and interior design. There was a lot of thought put into creating this location. The cocktails were excellent as well as the food. I'm pretty picky about my Chilaquiles, but I was pretty impressed with these. Our server Jermie was very attentive and gave some great recommendations on the cocktails as well. Highly recommend.

So upon entering we had some weird interactions and were sat at a dirty table, we otherwise had a wonderful time. Our server, Dannie, was top tier. She was bubbly, friendly, knowledgeable, and checked in often enough we felt we were cared for. Overall the food was excellent. We came for happy hour so we order most of the menu and the only thing that wasn't amazing was the yum fries - I prefer crispy fries but the waffle fries weren't crispy and overall the flavor was bit bland. Both my drinks, the espresso martini and margarita were excellent - I wish I could have enjoyed more but my body would have revolted. I love that this place wasn't just aesthetically pleasing, but the food and drinks matched perfectly. Will most definitely come back here.

My food was pretty good but my service wasn't. I got the popcorn chicken, LA roll and a mojito. I wasn't checked on once while eating or after. I wanted to order another drink but no one ever came back to my table so I didn't. I even had to another waiter to grab mine so I could close my ticket. The venue is beautiful and music not too loud but I'm not sure I would return. It wasn't busy and yet I was rarely helped.

This place was highly recommended online so I was very excited to try. The vibe of the restaurant is great. Bumping trending music and great decor. The service was decent. The hosts were kinda busy chatting with each other. I think our server was also pretty busy with a lot of other tables at the time. Honestly, the food was decent but it didn't blow my mind. I would recommend the popcorn chicken. The sushi was okay. The drinks were good and STRONG. The prices are great during happy hour. I would say if you're in the area during happy hour it's worth stopping by.

This is my go to spot during the week, or even the weekend! Not sure what took me so long to write a review! I've literally have been going here since they opened and tried almost the whole menu Be mindful about their happy hour.. it's always sooo packed and hard to get a spot at the bar. Because when I go I just have to see my two favorites Maria or jermie! Parking is plentiful, ofc you're in deep ellum. I don't even have to tell you if it's paid or not lol because you know it is.. unless you can find street parking and it's during the times they aren't charging

We stumbled upon this spot before and concert and it happened to be happy hour - amazing prices, food, and options! Everything hit, and our server was super friendly. Definitely would recommend trying during happy hour as the deals are outstanding.

Love coming to this place. They had some of the best happy hour items with great bar staff. For such a collectique menu of food items as well as drinks it is hard to beat for happy hour times.

We popped in on New Year's Day and unfortunately, Deep Ellum was very much dead.. however we stumbled upon this gem. The drinks were cold and service was amazing and extremely friendly. My wife felt that the vibe was very cute. We ate some chips and dips, which were pretty good, but we went in for drinks. The drinks were good. Overall, very kid friendly and chill spot.

We chose this place as a Bachelorette dinner spot and it did not disappoint! This location is beautifully decorated and the staff were friendly and attentive. Our party of 8 truly enjoyed out shared appetizers and individual entrees. The wait wasn't too long and and we appreciated the constant check ins for the sake of keeping our refreshments topped off while they were dealing with a dinner rush. My appetizers was the Hatch Chili Queso with tortilla chips & cilantro +make it loaded +$3 (achiote minced pork, guacamole, corn & jalapeño salsa, tomato, scallion) -The queso was awesome and now I wish I had added the free kimchi because the loaded version was everything! $15 My entree was the following: Yellowtail Habanero (8 PCS) inside: crab mix, avocado, crispy shallot, cilantro / outside: charred habanero yellowtail, lemon zest, ponzu, scallion I cannot remember my cocktail name but the lightness of the sprtizer was refreshing following the spiciness of my roll. Very complimentary and appreciated Each of my meals were great! I really enjoyed the quality of ingredients the portion in reference to cost. If you haven't visited this establishment, do so, you'll be missing out.

On Sunday Easter Day the restaurant need reservations on advance. The waitress so friendly and a know a knowledgeable about the menu's I like the setup they table and booths for privacy we were 4 people The Food presentations so nice simple and delicious every bite you will feel the the mix of spices and textures in and they serve it with Good temperature We order some of Nachos and chicken bites You will leave feeling good full but not heavy

Happy hour with friends! I made reservations on OpenTable for early afternoon which was pretty easy but it does require a credit card on file incase of cancellation. This place is really cute, nice atmosphere. It was steady since it was mid afternoon. We started off with drinks which took a while to bring. Our waiter had a trainee so a lot of items would come out late. I had the EXSW marg which is $7 on the happy hour menu. I enjoyed it. Wasn't super strong, and wasn't exactly frozen but it did the job. We started off with "The Cure" Platter. Presentation was amazing but some of the appetizers did come out lukewarm/cold. I would say I was pretty impressed with the queso. I just wish the food was more hot being served. Edamame was a bit salty. I did order the jalapeño smash burger with friends with I enjoyed. I did try the "Crunchy L.A.", which is one of their sushi options. I could pass. Wasn't my favorite. Cons: Flies inside the restaurant but you can ask for the fans to be placed on your table to combat that. Sometimes it expect when people coming in and out for the patio. Food not being as warm as it should coming out the kitchen. Nothing than cold food being served. And service being slow. It's to be expected since they are still trying to find their rhythm. All in all, I still had fun with my friends regardless. Our waiter and his trainee were still very nice regardless of situations out of their control. Kinks are to be expected. Still come and check it out for yourself.

However, after visiting multiple times at different times of day, I don't think I'll be coming back. The food is fine and the coffee is okay, but the customer service has consistently been disappointing, and that's what ultimately ruins the experience. Each time I've gone, the staff behind the counter seem disengaged and uninterested in helping customers. There have been multiple occasions where no one acknowledges you at the counter, or they stay in the back and make you feel like you're interrupting them just by ordering. When they do interact, it often comes across as short or unfriendly. I'm not trying to make assumptions about the staff, but after repeated experiences like this, the environment just feels unwelcoming. It's gotten to the point where I can't even focus on working there because the overall vibe feels off. It's frustrating because this place could be great with more attentiveness and basic kindness in customer service. Unfortunately, the service has been consistently negative enough that it outweighs everything else.

Good beer selection, great food (I literally ate the tikka masala twice during our couple day trip) and they were conveniently open on Thanksgiving after the game and a fun shot wheel, which was both fun to partake in and fun to watch others do. In other words, you'd never catch a glimpse of it by simply driving through town (thank goodness for Google maps!) and even many of the locals are unaware of its existence. We did manage to find it though, with hopes that the food would be worth the effort it took to get there. My husband and I both started with caesar salads. Other than being a little heavy on the dressing, they tasted ok. The pecan crusted salmon and mac & cheese were next for me. The coating on the salmon tasted like the same stuff a Thanksgiving sweet potato casserole is topped with. Unfortunately, that's the one thing I never touch because I'm just not a fan of the flavors. Unlike the salmon and salad, there was nothing objectionable about the mac & cheese. My husband ordered a filet that arrived really cold and underdone. It was closer to mooing than medium rare like he requested! Even after they took it back to the kitchen to cook it some more, it came back pretty raw. The chocolate cake we had for dessert was probably the best part of the meal. It was so rich and decadent that we didn't even miss the raspberry sauce (I assumed they purposefully left it out since we got it to go). Considering that the management here has opened and closed so many different restaurants in this same spot, you would think that they would be experts by now at running a successful establishment. But for some reason, they continue to put out the kind of lackluster food that can be found for a lower price at a major chain. At least they can boast having a beautiful view if nothing else.
