    Amazing tasting selection!
    Amanda S.

My friends and I loved going here for a tasting. $12 to try the entire selection (in December 2020, this was 17 wines) was amazing. And when I say try. What I really should say is shoot. The lovable couple that owns and runs the establishment gives you a full (half-shot) of each wine which is definitely enough since you could be trying up to 20 wines in one sitting. My friends and I made a reservation three months in advance and the couple rolled out the royal carpet for us giving us a private igloo. However, there was one group of ladies leaving as we were coming in this we got the bar area to ourselves. It was fantastic. I would like to say we stayed for 2-3 hours. Definitely closed down the joint. It was such a fun place. My parents love sweet light wines and that is there speciality. Will be taking my parents and one of my other best friends here again. This winery has definitely made the list of favorites.

So Naughty Slushie is magic on a hot day!

New favorite wine tasting spot. Loved all the wines and fun times. This is a hidden gem. A must stop after visiting the battlefields. We loved the devil's punchbowl slushie, so naughty slushie and all the wines. Top notch!

Of the 3 vineyards we visited that day this one we bought the most take home wine! Loved the dogs and the laid back atmosphere.

Fantastic hosts, wonderful stories. Only 1 winery of 22 in WVA! Worth the trip! Great wine!!!!

Very inviting winery with a great host and story teller! Enjoyed the tasting and stories about each wine and how the creative names on the bottles materialized. We came out of there buying lots of bottles and too many tastings to remember exactly how many. Enjoyed each and every one of them for one reason or another. Check out this unpretentious hidden gem and you will not be disappointed.

Great time , great price ! Simple winery , relaxed , small tasting room and only a port-a-potty but worth a stop and great wine prices !

The stories behind the names of the wines were highly entertaining. This was a fun place with great tasting sweet wines. We bought a case.

Let me first add the context that I don't really identify as a wine drinker, but will still occasionally visit vineyards because I think the experience is nice. 61 vineyard was a cool spot for sure. They have a nice open location with tons of space (I think they said around 40 acres) and they've been expanding their main location for the four years that they've been open. They have a main tasting room, an expansion seating room, and an outdoor patio area that are all well maintained and great for parties of all sizes. I partook in the wine tasting which was very good and the staff was very friendly and easy to talk to (which I find often makes or breaks wine tasting experiences) The wine itself does seem on the pricier end for what I'm used to where I think the average bottle here goes for over $20. But there are also member and subscription types of services to take advantage of discounts. I'm not entirely sure if they have relationships with food vendors, but they didn't have many food option in the main location itself when we were there. The food options that I saw were prepackaged charcuterie packs, so I would keep that in mind for your visit. All in all a very nice winery spot and would recommend even if wine isn't typically your drink of choice.
