Stopped in here before a comedy show at MSG. I was expecting (more like hoping) that service would be fast assuming that many others were going across the street to MSG but that wasn't the case. Our server was very nice but she was the only person working in the downstairs dining room. The food was pretty good - we had the NY Strip Steak sandwich with fries.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice rooftop bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had no probably getting a seat. The staff was so attentive. Drinks arrived to the table super fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very views! The bar looks onto Madison Square[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Consider rideshare or public trans, parking will be a pain. There are stairs to the rooftop.

My friend and I came here on a total whim. I wasn't expecting much, since it was a pretty casual place, but the food was better than expected. The menu is pretty basic, mostly classic American and bar type dishes, so don't expect anything overly inventive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Still, I feel like it's more of a drinks spot, given the ambiance and bar vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was great and we had a great time here overall! I'd recommend if you're looking for an easy walk in.

Stumbled upon this place outside the train station near MSG in NYC. Only had time for a drink while waiting for my train to Baltimore yet received excellent service by Karla. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Adorable little restaurant with a nice bar, cool outdoor seating area, and fantastic service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We didn't even mean to eat here. More settled. Our walk around the city led us to this area. My intention was to get noodz close to this area, but we had walked about 5 miles and my feet were hurting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The rooftop option was what sold me, but unfortunately it wasn't even open yet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We decided to stay anyway because we really needed some nourishment. First off, the rosé was not it. We shared the wings, risotto and sprouts. The risotto was the only winner for me. The other two were whatever.

Great little place to go before or after an event at MSG. They have happy hour every day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also have a nice outdoor mini rooftop that they enclose in the winter.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's right next to MSG so you have a nice view of that and the post office that houses Penn Station.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is friendly and they make a great cocktail.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a great, friendly place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is delicious, and the drinks are awesome. Prices are reasonable. The staff, Dee and Karen, are the best.

got a spiced hot cocoa! few customers on a weekday night, got seated immediately. service was very friendly and not pushy at all. my friend and i came just for drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]vibe was dark and mysterious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] super convenient location - a few steps from the train station!

My cousin, sis, friend and I decided to stop by this bar before the Nicki Minaj concert and it did not disappoint. The music was a vibe. It is directly across the street from Madison Square Garden so you have great ad views. Lol. What makes this bar so aging is the staff. I was trying to communicate with my sister over the phone to direct her on the location of this bar and a really nice gentleman who works at the bar helped me out so much and spotted her before I did. He was so sweet to help us and I will never forget it. The hummus was delicious and the drinks were good too.

The rooftop terrace overlooking Penn Station is nice. The table was dirty and the server did not care to clean until we asked. The burger was sub-average and the salad was fine. I woukd give 4 stars but they tricked us with the bill. The server shows us the bill. We paid. Then she charged. I was surprised she never asked for the tip. Then I noticed she added 22% tip. This should be a crime.

It was my first time there but I was expecting the menu I saw online, not this new one. We tried 2 drinks: one inspired by Turkish figs and one inspired by lemons and the "Miracle Berry", which inverts your palate and turns sour into sweet! I really enjoyed both drinks. The figs one came with a sweet fig granola bite and the lemon one really did taste sweet after eating the "Miracle Berry"! I'd definitely come back to try their many other drinks.

I liked how they organized the menu by country/geography to facilitate an understanding of the flavor profiles. I got two of the date & fig-flavored smoked whisky drinks and it was a well made, balanced, and very good. Not cheap at some $25 or something, but middle of Manhattan with some creative ingredients means I guess it is what it is. Servers seemed a bit annoyed to have to deal with us shortly before close as I think they were hoping to usher people out and close down maybe a little early. One the one hand I get it, on the other hand you've got two paying customers on a slow night.

They're experimental, whimsical, delicious, and worth every penny. My absolute favorite is Child of Light, and my BF's was High Frequency Device. The interior was dimly lit, with a couple of candles per table or counter. It's a perfect place for a date night. And while there may be a wait on busier nights, it's always worth the wait. We were sat at the bar once and were very well taken care of by our bartender, Nikola. It was a Sunday night, so it wasn't terribly busy. We chatted up a storm and he was able to create some drinks off the menu just for fun (on request). He also made my BF and me a couple of drinks to celebrate our anniversary too. Wonderful people and wonderful service. Needless to say, we will be back as frequently as we can!

It was dark when we entered the coffee shop but an ajar door gave way to the bar. The decor is a homage to the works of Nikola Tesla, which can be seen in the subtle electric theme throughout the space and the naming of the cocktails. The space isn't too large - the bar and stools take up most of the space but they also have some booths/tables. The place looks great. The cocktail menu is very creative - I got one of their seasonal mixes that was actually two drinks in one. The main cocktail was meant to be sipped first and they provided a small glass of beer to be sipped after. The name escapes me but it was very good. Since we had cocktails at dinner, we only stayed for one round. Service was good, and overall I enjoyed my time at Patent Pending. I would definitely return to explore more of their menu.

Stepping into this place feels like you're in some secret, super special cocktail club. Decor is super high end, vibes are upscale AF. The cocktail menu is incredible -- and incredibly pricey, but truly worth it. I ordered the Valentino which was strong and sweet, really well made. We walked in without a reservation around 6:20 p.m., and they were able to accommodate us at a shared table until 7:15. The menu surprised me a bit. Since I associated the address with Eleven Madison Park, I wasn't expecting to see items like wings stuffed with sausage, which were done in partnership with Jungsik. We ordered those along with the mushroom burger and asked them to cut the burger in half for us. The cocktail menu was creative and a little intimidating, with unconventional ingredients like cream cheese and green curry. I went with a fruity Hendrick's-based drink, and my friend ordered the spicy green curry martini. Both were good. Mine didn't taste very strong, but it also wasn't overly sweet because there was enough bitterness to balance it out. The green curry martini was more adventurous but still worked. Service was mixed. There was a woman standing near us, so we tried ordering food with her, but she seemed hesitant to come over. Maybe she wasn't a server or was newer. For drinks, she brought over someone more seasoned, who quickly helped guide us based on our preferred taste profiles. Her suggestions were very good. The mushroom burger was the highlight for me. It was a little salty, but the crispy mushroom and soft bun were a great combination. I honestly wished I had more than half. The wings were okay. They were crispy on the outside and juicy inside, but coated in a Dorito-like powder that made them very messy. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd come back, especially for the mushroom burger.
