A few of my coworkers are regulars here so we decided to move the happy hour here. It is an interesting place that is quite a hit with the locals. I loved the interior. A very nice hostess gave us a large table in the back that could accommodate our party of 12. Our server came right over and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is very conducive to having a great time. Needless to say, I can't opine about cocktails but the Guinness and variety of Irish whiskey was excellent. We ordered a mixed platter of fried appetizers that hit the spot. The onion rings were great. I didn't want to eat a bunch of fried food all night so I ordered a wedge salad with salmon. It was very good. The salmon was tasty and juicy. We stayed quite late and everyone had a fantastic time. I would definitely check this place out. I will be back next time I am in NYC. read more

It's a usual hangout spot for the locals. Our colleagues come here weekly and often with some coming every few days after work. Great beers on tap and large section of drinks. Great food too (for a bar). My colleagues took up the entire back corner, pulled various tables together and congulated to the outside area as well. It's kind of a cute little Irish pub off the beaten path in Chelsea. Drinks are a few bucks cheaper here than along 7th and 8th avenue. The vibe is nice and neighborly and not grimy like some other dives. Not sure if they have a happy hour but noticed their house ale is only $6 a pint and $18 a pitcher. Most of their fancy cocktails are under $13-14, which is sad that that's a deal these days. Watched some food dishes pass by the kitchen counter window. Their burger, shepherds pie, and mac and cheese looked pretty solid. Would be tempted to try their food some day. Definitely will check the spot out again. read more

What a fun little hole in the wall to stumble upon. We went to the edge and needed crowd pleasing food. This fit the bill. I felt transported back to Europe by the sassy Irish bartender and the hearty food. Perfect ambiance of a pub, even had a jukebox! Rainy Sunday afternoon wanted a place to watch some football, have a drink and maybe a burger...we tried several places near Hudson Yards but not had all of the above....soo glad we stumbled into this place! Typical old Irish bar with old school charm but nothing fancy at all. We sat at the bar got a pitcher of beer (Maggie's Ale which is just Budweiser) for 15$! That's a steal on it's own in this area....ordered a Shepard's Pie and a burger to share with the wife and both were absolutely fantastic! Very welcoming bar and I enjoyed my time hear while watching the basketball game. There's a decent number of screens as well. On our way to Penn Station at around 9pm, on our way home from an off-broadway show in Chelsea, we stopped at Maggie Reillys for a bite to eat. The bar was filled with patrons, all enjoying a drink and conversation post-pandemic. There are some tables in the front, and then a small eating area in the rear with seating for around 30. We both had cheeseburgers and a pint; I had a salad and my friend had fries. We were both very happy with our meal. Excellent location, friendly staff, fast service, cozy atmosphere, and great food. I have this habit of walking into the first pub, diner or restaurant that is closest to me when I get hungry and I am out exploring. That's what happened yesterday and the closest place was Maggie Reilly's. I got hungry and literally looked up and there it was. I'm so glad i stopped here! It was not crowded at all (but did start to fill up after I arrived). I sat at the end of the bar and ordered a diet coke and Maggie's House Burger (burger stuffed with finely chopped onion topped w/ cheese and bacon). The burger was HUGE and delicious, as was the bacon on top. You don't always get a good burger when you are picking random restaurants in the city... but this burger was GREAT. The steak fries were great, too (my favorite!). The bartender was very friendly (love that Irish accent) and he refilled my drink each time it got low. Great place, great food. The Curry Fries with Cheese is a must get; Maggie's Lager which is both crisp and delicious are the perfect combination; but feel free to explore their delicious options from the bar and kitchen menu .You will get a perfect pour by the best bartender, Bridgette.
