Which made it the perfect ambiance to watch the game.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Started with the mozzarella sticks--golden, crispy, and pulling off that cheese stretch worthy of a replay review. Then came the Buffalo wings, cooked perfectly with just the right amount of heat to keep the game interesting. The main event was Harry's Burger: a custom blend burger loaded with blue cheese, caramelized and crispy onions, sweet pickles, tomato, market greens, secret sauce, smoked bacon, all stacked on a brioche bun. This thing hit harder than a Knicks playoff screen. By the final buzzer, the crowd was losing its mind, my table looked like it survived overtime, and that burger deserved its own championship parade down 7th Avenue. Also the service was top-tier. So if the Knicks bring this much energy every night, somebody start measuring the route for the Finals parade. read more

One item of interest was that on the way out 3 different people made the effort to thank us for coming in. That was a nice touch. Clearly part of their training. Might be the first time since Covid that I noticed that anyone was actually training the front of the house. He led us to the back of the bar and opened a bookcase that led to a set of stairs going down. The two of us were so looking forward to their aclaimed Fish and Chips that we never had before. We were so taken back that when the order came the fish smelled of ammonia and was mushy. Catching up with an old coworker and she suggested this place as she's a regular here for games since it's right by the garden. From the outside it doesn't look that spacious but once inside it's huge and they have a upper level as well. By the time I got there happy hour was over (till 5PM). We sat in the back area and was greeted right away by our waitress who was very attentive during our time. I had the wings with their mustang sticky sauce which I liked and the hanger steak tacos which was ok. Drinks were really good! We were treated to a very rich chocolate lava cake which I recommend sharing since it's huge. They also have a large selection of wines, beers and drinks. I love Mustang Harry's. I met up with some friends at Mustang Harry's on Thursday November 13th. I had never been there before. Was politely greeted by a hostess and seated right away. I asked for a booth close to the door and she gladly accommodated. FOOD AND DRINKS: We ordered nearly every item on the appetizer menu along with cocktails and other drinks. The food and service was excellent. All of the dishes were made in house by a bona fide chef and they truly exceeded my expectations. I especially loved the calamari and steak nachos. The server was on top of our orders and we never had to wait long to get a refill, another appetizer or another drink. Our server was a real pro. ATMOSPHERE: The atmosphere is fun, festive and clean. They have a great bar with lots of TVs if you like to watch sports. The music was audible but not overpowering. The nicest, cleanest bathrooms. PRICE: The prices are VERY fair for the amount of food we had. A very good value. BOTTOM LINE: I loved it there so much we went back the next day for lunch with some other friends. I was going to a Rangers game this night so a buddy of mine and I stopped into this place. We got seated pretty quickly upstairs on one of the tables overlooking the restaurant, unique spot. We each got a pint of Guinness and the Corned Beef Sandwich with fries. Food came out very quickly after ordering, they know their crowd. Sandwich was a tasty good portion, could have used a spicy mustard to make it perfect but was delicious nonetheless, fries good as well. My only complaint is how hot it gets up there, I had been there previously and had the same issue as well, was wearing a sweatshirt that I had to shed with it being so warm. Went here on a Saturday night with a group of 4. Was sat immediately. The atmosphere is nice but also casual. A bar where you can sit. I ordered the Cesar salad with chicken and a Prosecco. Both were good, but I think it is hard to mess up a Cesar salad. The salad could have been bigger, but it is nyc and very close to Madison Square Garden so expectations need to be set accordingly.
