To the store manager of this specific location (next to Moana Surfrider) , please don't hire sales associates who don't enjoy helping your customers because I was so turned off by this that I walked out the store without purchasing due to the service I received. The shop was very cute, with a sort of museum shop aesthetic: clean and colorful with lots of interesting merchandise, much of it made by local small businesses and artists. I didn't have time to do a full browse, but I definitely liked what I saw. There were a few baseball caps available, and I picked a flexible black one with a pink hibiscus patch sewn on the front. I wore it almost every day for the rest of my trip, from Hawaii to the Philippines. The cap made a nice souvenir, and I continue to get use out of it at home. I'm glad Mori appeared when it did. It's a great shop, definitely worth checking out if you're in Honolulu.

One of the employees shared a sweet piece of advice that stuck with me: "Believe me, my friend. when you're my age, you'll do everything you can to make your day and truly enjoy it." Sugarcane is this cute shop where you can find all these locally made items for a gift, for the home, fir kids, for a friend, or for visitors. They have books, puzzles, toys jewelry, totes, bags, coasters and more. I love the wooden toys for the kids. I bought a wooden cell phone, a camera, stickers and a cute cooking set. They are my kiddos favorite toys. I've gotten key chains and jewelry for gifts. We have coasters for our home too. The workers are pretty friendly and they also wrapped my gift item too. The items seem pricey, but they are locally made and are unique. I don't think you'll find any ship with the same kind of item that Sugarcane carries.
