I ordered two of their uncommon flavors available at that time: Lemon Ginger Snap: Pieces of ginger bread cookies mixed with lemon ice cream. They are very similar to the other ice creameries in the area, such as Molly Moon, Salt & Straw, where they offer standard flavors and temporary flavors. The prices are similar, too. They make their waffle cones in house. The shop is fairly basic, white color decorated. On this hot day, the line is long, but they move reasonably fast. They are well staffed. A separate ice cream station at the front offers free samples; a sign states this is the only place to get samples. I suspect that is a policy when it's busy. Hubby chose coconut match blueberry. My grandson now believes that anytime we come for a visit from Mukilteo, he gets to go here! It is the highlight of Mimi & Grampyʻs time with him. It is an incredible location; they move you through long lines lightning fast and, all the while, are lovely at customer service. I love dogs, I don't love their feet on indoor tables and chairs people eat on. The sun was out today! We decided to take our dog out on a walk today, and we decided to get some ice cream! The line was REALLY long, but honestly, worth it. The shop itself is clean and they have quick service. There was music playing as well, so it was awesome. I got 2 of the mint ice cream flavors, my boyfriend got the banana and caramel flavor. Honestly, all of the flavors were great, I'd go again 100%! Higher price point ice cream joint for nothing special. Coming from up north, my experiences are reflected here, although it seems to be a very popular ice cream spot in Tacoma. They have a sample cart so that's cool. Unfortunately it seems like they just operate it whenever they feel like it as they "ran out" of samples with a full pint available and take a break from it often. Luckily, they don't have any flavors that are out of the box. Unfortunately, that's also a con because the flavors are all pretty standard. Ice cream melts faster than usual, which may be a pro or con depending on your preference. My party's cones were dripping as we waited to pay after a larger party. The day wasn't particularly hot either especially while we were still indoors. Felt a bit off. Also got a pint to share and it was melting already after checking out. Anyways, pair this with a cone with a hole at the bottom, well you'd figure that's no fun. Ice cream melting and leaking so not only wasted, but also annoying. I am not a fan of the chocolate chip options. Peanut butter chocolate chip is nice for the peanut butter ice cream but they use whole chocolate chips unlike the standard square-chip type you'd find in ice cream. These become solid in ice cream as you'd expect and become bothersome to eat like M&Ms in McFlurries, though if you like that, go for these options. I will compliment the banana though, it doesn't taste artificial at all. Not sure if there's necessary a "roasted" taste.
