When asking a question it was basically like: thats not my department so I don't know. Moving on the experience 10 years ago was an okay night but it took me 10 years to return.

The beds are comfortable, and the pillows are soft and good. The rooms are NYC small, but it's not much smaller than any other place in the city. If you need a work station, you will need to plan to work in tight corridors. With that said, what really stands out about Margaritaville is the service. Near every personnel encountered is cheerful, kind, and helpful. Need a wake up call? No problem. Have questions? Responses with a smile. Have a room issue? Quickly handled and with care. One night, I had a medical emergency and the personnel that assisted me were so attentive and supportive. I was truly blown away how above and beyond they went. Some standouts whose names I caught included Breeana (I'm hopefully spelling this right) in security and Abhishek at the front desk. The one downside, which is not uncommon for NYC hotels, is that there are three elevators and 31 floors, and they can really slow down your entry/exit experience during certain rush hours. Around 5pm each evening, there is usually a line to wait for the elevators. Based on some difficulties during peak dinner times, I would recommend trying to stay on a lower floor. The views are beautiful, the rooms are clean and extremely quiet (you can hear limited muffled noise from the hall and that's it), and there are some fun amenities including access to a deck-side pool, a rooftop bar, and a fun restaurant with a giant Lady Liberty statue at the center. This Lady Liberty actually holds a (margarita) glass that provides a cool light/visual show periodically. Margaritaville provides a fun experience balanced with comfort, cleanliness, quiet, and excellent service - all while providing easy access to Times Square for those that want or need to stay nearby. I think they are open to the public after a certain time so if you aren't a member you can still stroll on in. Smart move on their part because they'll get extra business that way. I wasn't too much of a fan of the band playing but it was really nice to be on the beach hearing some music that part was pretty awesome. I walked down to the beach area to check it out. My friend wanted to eat and I didn't have a lot of money so we shared a pizza. She picked the toppings. Many times I'm a people pleaser. I just don't want to get into an argument and will comply with the wishes of others pretty easily if I am okay with it so I let her pick the toppings. Overall it was a nice experience being here and I would come here again especially if they had a band I like better than the rolling stones tribute band.

What followed was months of frustration, excuses, and, quite frankly, an unacceptable lack of integrity. I was repeatedly given conflicting information and assurances that the matter would be handled, only to have those promises go nowhere. I was continuously told different things, and despite numerous attempts to resolve the situation, my mother's money was never returned. This is not simply about a deposit. It is about how a business chooses to treat a family that is dealing with the death of a loved one. The complete lack of compassion, transparency, and accountability shown by the management and ownership was disgusting. A reputable business should not need to be chased repeatedly for months over money belonging to a deceased customer. And management should certainly not make promises they have no intention of keeping. What makes this particularly upsetting is that this could have been handled with basic decency and professionalism. Instead, I was met with what felt like constant runaround and dishonesty. The way this situation was handled says far more about the character of the management and ownership than it does about the amount of money involved. I would strongly caution anyone considering giving this establishment their business to think twice about how they may be treated when something goes wrong. Absolutely disgraceful.

I loved the charm of the hotel, a genuine nod to the character and nature of Brooklyn which was nice. The hotel was steps from the Brooklyn Bridge and I got the opportunity to walk the bridge every day. The entire staff, everyone we encountered was kind and helpful. It took a couple days to familiarize myself with the hotel and by day three, I knew my way around. The staff remembered me and would greet and ask how my stay/trip was each time. To all the amazing people we met, thank you. My husband and I have moved our hotel business to the Marriott, and we are looking into the vacations packages. It is ONLY available to access during the set meal times M-F (6a-10a and 530p-10p). I paid for an upgraded room and was shown the cowboy Suite. I patiently waited over 45 mins to check in to an un busy tent at 8pm. The women seemed very uninterested and said she didn't see our reservation. I left the tent because my wife was hungry. So we had dinner at the restaurant. When I returned she tried to give me another place but it was basically a box. My wife and I insisted we had booked the cowboy suite. Much talking and deliberation I showed her my credit card charge and the amount on the app that I was charged. She said it wasn't available because and I quote, "yes we have lots of availability but they aren't cleaned until someone books them." Unfortunately they never emailed me a confirmation. I should have known something was wrong.

The hotel sits on top of the R train, so the entire building shakes every five minutes. The bathroom was cramped and there was no way to turn off the exhaust fan. The water pressure was very low. I had the bed turned down exactly twice in seven days. The two chairs in the room were among the least comfortable I have ever sat in. The desk chair pinched like an Italian waiter and I had trouble getting out of the other.
