If you're looking for the perfect intimate and boujee date night spot, look no further than Shaker and Vine! Ambiance- you won't find a cooler setting than this. The interior is beautiful and cozy. I haven't been able to try the equally beautiful outdoor seating but the igloos and comfortable outdoor couches look like the perfect place to be post pandemic. Drinks- I loved the cocktails! The pear juice based cocktail and apple cider cocktail were delicious with a good kick of alcohol. They were very insta worthy too Food- Don't expect to have a full meal here. The menu consists of excellent upscale bar food to pair with your drinks. The charcuterie board, cheese fondue and pizza were phenomenal but the menu could be expanded with some more heartier dishes like pasta and possibly meaty entrees. Service- overall very professional and polite except when it came close to our time limit. The staff was not trying to hide that they wanted us to leave when we had over 30 minutes left within our allotted time. They took glasses and plates out of our hands when they weren't quite finished. It was pretty rude and memorable. It is unfortunate because we were aware of how much time was left and paid the bill well in advance so we wouldn't go over. I have now been to this restaurant twice and I'll be back again. It's such a nice space to gather with a group of friends or chill with your significant other. The cocktails are great, and the self service wine wall is so awesome. There are many different wines and you can serve yourself different sizes at the appropriate price points. The shareable plates are delicious. Charcuterie boards were fresh and they included housemade jams. The Buffalo chicken dip had the right amount of heat (spice) and a great chicken to cheese ratio. Their salads are large and freshly prepared. My friend had more than enough to take home for another meal. For personal plates, the lobster ravioli and butternut quash ravioli are tied for my number one fav item on the menu. The flatbreads are also pretty great as well. I enjoyed a few slices of the Dream of California Chicken (it needed more of the sriracha ranch drizzle, but it was still good). Made reservations here with a group of friends on a Friday night, and overall wasn't thrilled. Let me start with the service -- fast and friendly, but too friendly. You ever have a server that's practically begging for a tip with how overly nice and a step too friendly they are? That was my experience here. I could go without being told 'you're epic miss' for giving the server my empty plate. Over friendly and personally made me very uncomfortable. Now for the food...I don't have anything particularly bad to say about it, but nothing good either! The food was just okay. For all the hype around shaker and vine I expected so much more. I wouldn't say this was a bad experience, but it doesn't stand out as a great one either. Shaker and vine is pretty regular and I don't get the hype. Would I return? Probably, but with lower expectations so I could be pleasantly surprised this time around. Edit for manager feedback: I misinterpreted the servers intentions and that's my mistake. I appreciate the kindness but it does come off a bit uncomfortable, and disingenuous to be honest. The wine bar wasn't communicated to me, although I did arrive shortly after the majority of my party. We went to The Shaker and Vine this weekend and had a great time.... once we finally got inside. Parking was one of our biggest issues upon arrival. There was an event happening next door and we drove around for 25 minutes looking for a spot. There are two parking garages and if they are full it's extremely difficult to find a spot. They do not have their own parking lot so it's every man for themselves. When we entered the restaurant there was a great atmosphere and a "high-class" feel. For a party of 7 we thought the prices were reasonable for food. Drinks are a little pricey but it was to be expected as you won't find a "cheap cocktail" in most places in the area. The private booth we had was great and we were removed from the crowd! They also have a very unique set up with self serve wine tastings. You swipe a card (which is connected to your credit card) and pour the wine yourself. It can definitely get to be really expensive if you're not careful. I wouldn't expect to come here for an elegant sit down dinner because that's not what they offer. The menu consists of apps, sandwiches and flatbreads, which turned out to be exactly what we wanted. We shared two boards filled with various meats, cheeses, spreads and fruit. Then we had the Buffalo chicken dip, and finished off with a dessert board. It's been over seven months since we first visited Shaker and Vine and it appears that the change in seasons has not hurt them one bit. For a Thursday evening at the end of January they appeared to be doing a good level of business. In fact, it's been reported that they are expanding by adding more seating, a 2nd bar, and private dining space. We were lucky with our 6ish arrival to score a table for two overlooking the closed off terrace containing two of their new igloo cocktail/dining tents outside. These are available for a $25 per person minimum Sunday through Wednesday, and for an additional $50/hour rental fee Thursday through Saturday. That's likely to ice me out. I did learn from this latest visit that they do serve draft beer. In fact, they have a reasonably good offering of craft brews. With that, I started with a Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro ($6 less $1.20 during Happy Hour). My wife chose from their Cocktail list a Bourbon Improved Cocktail ($12 less $2.40 during HH). Sorry that I didn't take note of what was in that cocktail, it was excellent. We decided to start by sharing a small Cheese Fondue ($14) - nicely melted Brie with sides of sliced apple, peppers, fresh house-made crostini, and pretzel bites. Those hot pretzel bites were delicious, and the soft, warm crostini was another big hit. I would definitely order this again. Our main courses were a Sydney's Spinach Rosé salad ($17) with added smoked salmon ($5) for my wife and a Spicy Italian Panini ($13) for me. Her salad was huge, containing avocado, berries, red onion, goat cheese, walnuts, and rosé vinaigrette along with a good portion of the very thinly sliced optional salmon. My Panini was much more enjoyable than I had even imagined. Containing generous amounts of capicollo, prosciutto, salami, provolone, fresh spicy peppers, red onion, and some garlic aioli, all assembled inside a very tasty focaccia with beautiful pressed grill marks. The combined textures and flavors here were a real hit. The only mediocre experience here was their coffee ($2.50/cup). Service was excellent, noise level can get rather high when they are at capacity. By the time we left, many customers had cleared out and the noise level was more than acceptable. read more

We visited from out of town and were super excited to come here for our anniversary. This place is nestled nearby a casino and a nice apartment complex. There is a large free parking garage across the street and we had no problem with finding a spot. We had a 5PM reservation, but we're able to get in a little earlier. The place itself is cute and has a nice relaxed vibe. There was a range of people and dress from suits to sundresses to literal t-shirts and sandals. Truly (almost) anything goes as long as you're comfortable. The areas are more divided than expected. The area you walk in has the lounge tables, bar seating, high tops, and some "normal" tables. Behind one of the wine dispenser walls there's another room, and then there's the patio. We were sat at a table in the main area. The table itself was more long than it was wide, which made it more difficult to talk to my partner from across the table. Our server was kind enough, but didn't care to explain the wine experience, which I guess was fine considering we ended up ordering other drinks. I heard a different server at a nearby table ask their party if they had been there before, then proceeded to explain the wine experience, though. My partner ordered a sour and I ordered what I thought was a normal lemonade with vodka in it and ended up getting a frozen lemonade with a side of warm blueberry vodka to add to it myself. We shared the southwest salad which was a very generous portion...to the point where we questioned if we even needed the flatbreads we ordered. (Also, thank you for not having an up charge for GF crust). After our salads, we each had a bit of our flatbreads, then took them home in a box. I'm contrast to some of the over reviews I read, I feel like this place is pretty fairly priced. If you order several drinks, I can see where it would add up. However, $13 for a flatbread is pretty typical and $18 for a huge salad seemed fair. Overall, our experience was fine, but I think this is not a great place for what we were looking for and would be more suitable for a group of friends hanging out. read more

What an elegant place. Such a nice, bright, and elegant energy the minute you walk inside. I was very satisfied with the service and the atmosphere. I came here with a girlfriend and we had a lot of fun. We were placed in the back of the bar and that was still very beautiful to sit at. The outdoor seating looks amazing but it's still a little chilly for that. My friend ordered a 3 cheese spinach cheese pesto with wine, I ordered the chipotle chicken end a water and it was a total of $47 dollars. See menu attached below! What a great spot! Made reservations last minute for 2 people on an early Saturday evening. When we arrived we were sat immediately and our server came over to greet us. She gave us the rundown of everything from drinks to food so we knew all of our options. We started with the Power Struggle and Spiced Blood Orange Margarita. Both were fantastic! For food, we ordered the Buffalo Chicken Dip and small charcuterie board. The dip was served hot with tortilla chips, celery and carrots. It was delicious! We also loved the charcuterie board because there were so many options on it -- 5 different cheeses, three meats, jam, crackers and crostini bread. Everything was so good and so filling that we opted not to order an entree. We couldn't skip dessert though! We ordered the special apple cider cake with caramel bourbon ice cream and the small milk chocolate fondue. Both were unreal! The cake and ice cream were so flavorful. We went to Shaker and Vine for a late night bite to eat and drinks. The atmosphere was lovely, lots of seating options, they have some sofa lounges, bar tables, regular booths and a lovely bar. Plenty of outdoor seating as well when weather permits. We did self serve wine tasting. You get a card that records your tastes. They have about 70 different wines, and you can choose 1, 3 or 5 ounce pours. They also have a large selection of wine but he glass and bottle. The cocktail menu had some intriguing choices as well. The food menu is nice, we had a charcuterie board which was beautiful. The caprese and Caesar salads were also very nice . What cool little find walking distance to the Landing Casino & hotel. The ambiance here was lovely both indoor & outdoors. They have great cocktails that are super unique. They are pricey but worth it! The self serve wine bar was such a fun experience & a must try. Becky our waitress walked us through the experience & took the time to explain how the process worked & was very knowledgeable about the wines. She gave great recommendations & the wine was delicious. The only downfall is you can't purchase wine bottles to go. They must open every bottle they serve. Although you can leave with it & they'll put the cork back in, it's not a good system when you're traveling or want to purchase it for a later time. I was all ready to not like this place, thinking that it would be tacky due to its association with the casino area, but I was pleasantly surprised. The variety of wine alone won me over especially since the pricing was far better than expected. They actually stocked a Pinot Gris that I had been unable to find anywhere else and both of the Sauvignon Blancs recommended by the waitstaff were quite pleasant. Two of my friends had chicken dishes which they enjoyed and my third friend and myself tried the flatbread/pizzas which were also quite good. All the food was hot and well prepared and presented. The service was friendly and timely despite a sizable Saturday evening crowd. But..., the next time I go, it will be earlier than 8pm, as the only unpleasant aspect here was it was SO, SO LOUD! My friends and I could barely have a conversation between the crowd at the bar and the traffic about the tables. We were joking it might be easier to chat in a group text instead of yelling or leaning in to be heard. I will definitely return, but during a quieter time. read more

Nice atmosphere, good food, slow service and the menu is incredibly long in the tooth, it desperately needs to be updated. Four of us for dinner, three of us had salads, one had pulled pork sliders. Finally, after about 45 minutes, the salads came out. Followed about 15 minutes later by the sliders, this all should have come out at once. We would've ordered dessert, however, when the server asked us if we were interested, we said we would look at what was offered. The response from the server was, 'ok, so just the check?' Again, nice atmosphere, I like the wine wall, but service has consistently been slow each time we go and the menu is largely uninspired. Will consider other options next time. read more

Every year, I pick the Shaker and Vine for my birthday dinner. We made reservations 3 weeks in advance for 6 people; and were seated in a beautiful booth! Everyone loved their food and drinks. Pictured is the chocolate chip Cookie dough cake & butternut squash ravioli (carbs don't count on your birthday!) This is the BEST restaurant I have ever been to. It is fun, chic, modern, delicious. The energy is amazing. While the spot seems very posh, theres something very humble about the space and especially the owners!! Let's start with the wine vending machines. You give a card to the wine laison and receive a special vending card, which is white and chipped so you feel fancy . seems to have at least 100 bottles of various wines- of which you simply put your card in and can taste 1 oz, have a half glass or full glass All the prices are relative to the wine and amount your getting. Tasting is about $2, but there were some pretty distinct wines that had like a $9+ taste too... so, not gonna find gas station wine lol. My buddy and I sat on the back deck, overlooking some pretty sweet boats, an amphitheater a d the casino. Tons of palm trees made you feel like you were in a Floridian hotspot. Theres a retractable metal roof for inclement weather, and a couple cabanas too. Inside is super chic with tons of bar and lounge seating, private booths and even a private party room. The bathrooms were even cool. My friend and I shared some small plates. The spinach artichoke dip is a MUST. Addictive! Cocktail sauce for shrimp is house made and should be bottled and sold... did someone say horseradish!! Chicken salad lettuce wraps were sweet and savory. And the Show stopper was the watermelon feta stacks (see photos). This place is 1 hr 30 from my home but I would 100% make the trek for the food, atmosphere, owners and wine machines. After a long wait the server finally took our entree order. We asked for our wine pairing to come with the entrees. Entrees delivered but no wine, we were half done when she finally appeared. We asked for our check but the server was inside talking to bartender. The glass walls work both way. My companion had enough and went in to ask for our check. Oh, so sorry, I didn't know. What BS ! I really wanted to give this place a good review because I heard good things and loved the concept! But I have to say our service was incredibly disappointing. Toward the beginning of the night our waitress, Christin F, was attentive and helpful. I even mentioned to her that it was my boyfriend's birthday and she said she would bring us a surprise at the end of the meal. But the later it got the less she stopped back at our table. We had finished our meal for a solid 20-30 minutes without her stopping by, but I saw she was standing at the end of the bar just chatting with her coworkers. When she came back, she gave us the check and completely forgot about my boyfriends birthday. Needless to say he was a little upset. Love Love Love this place! I just moved to area so I yelp everything, I had a friend come up from NC and we stopped in to check this place out. First let me start with the hostess... she was very personal, friendly and bubbly! Our server Kristen was absolutely amazing! She allowed us to take our time and explained how everything worked. The food: we got the chicken bruschetta flatbread... OMG sooooo good. The wine: they have various type of wines which was nice! Unlike other tap places you were able to see how much eat pour would cost. The had three different pours, a 1 ounce, 5 ounce and 10 ounce, so you knew exactly how much you were spending for each pour. The atmosphere: was was nice whether your hanging with friends or that special someone! The restaurants decor was beautiful and modern.
