I've always had great experiences, but this last visit really stood out. Mary was my therapist, and she was absolutely wonderful. Her energy was so calming and welcoming from the moment I arrived. She was incredibly kind, accommodating, and took the time to really understand what I wanted to get out of my appointment. It was clear she genuinely cared about providing the best experience possible. I left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and already looking forward to booking with her again. The only downside was that my appointment started about 15 minutes late because the client before me arrived late, which pushed the entire schedule back. Unfortunately, I had another commitment afterward and couldn't stay later, so I ended up losing part of my appointment time. I understand that delays happen, but I think a better solution would be to either reschedule significantly late clients or shorten their appointment so the rest of the day's schedule isn't impacted. It was disappointing to lose time from my service due to circumstances outside of my control. That said, Mary handled the situation with professionalism and made the most of the time we had. Her excellent care more than made up for the delay, and I'll definitely be returning.

I told the esthetician that I have sensitive skin and to please adjust products accordingly. She told me I was wrong and didn't have sensitive skin. I should have left then but I thought once she looked at it under the light she would see I was correct. Oh how I was wrong. I even told her during the facial that my skin was a tingly and felt funny. Im kicking myself for not getting up and leaving then too. So now I'm having to schedule a dermatology appointment because my skin looks like strawberry. It is red and itchy and burns. They may do ok with skin that isn't sensitive but I don't recommend even trying it with sensitive skin. Also don't add on the additional massage. It wasn't a real massage. Pressure was light and that is being generous. It felt more like she was putting lotion on my skin. With all the places in St Louis, I would find a different place for a facial and massage.

Also, I got the CBD upgrade, but I know she didn't use it but charged me for it. They say it is controlled, so the from desk lady poured it in a cup for the massage lady to add it to the cream. When I was dressing, I saw the oil still in the cup. The laser treatment was completely ineffective, and the subsequent Enlighten Depigmentation System triggered a severe full-body rash approximately 2.5 years ago. The rash was so intense that it required rocky and enormous medical helps to calm it down. After that difficult period, I managed my skin issue on my own. Through more than 2.5 years of focused self home care, I successfully cleared approximately 99% of my melasma using a simple daily regimen centered on Vanicream products. The results came entirely from my self home treatment -- NOT from this facility. A. For Professionals: If a client discloses that they have sensitive skin, I strongly recommend implementing a 72-hour patch test followed by a 5-day monitoring period as a standard precautionary step. This is far more effective than relying solely on a liability waiver. B. For Future Customers: Laser treatments or chemical peels might provide temporary surface-level improvement and a short-term glow, but if underlying internal factors (such as toxin accumulation) are not addressed, pigmentation issues like melasma are very likely to return. In my case, the clinical treatments from this facility offered zero benefit and instead caused a severe reaction. C. Key Recommendations from My Experience: a. Sun Protection: Practice absolute, consistent sun protection every day. b. Dietary Focus: - Avoid highly processed foods - Minimize high-sugar foods - Reduce high-salt intake - Eat plenty of green vegetables and a wide variety of colorful produce c. Maintain well-balanced daily nutrition d. Incorporate Vitamin C serum into your skincare routine e.
