The chicken tikka masala was creamy and flavorful and paired well either the warm buttery naan. The spice level wasn't as hot as I thought, so I'll get hot level next time. The prices are comparable with local Indian restaurants. Since Palate is located in a shopping center, parking can be limited, however there are plenty of places to park. I know new owners took over within the last year, and we were hopeful the changes would be good. They've added trivia night and music bingo night (common schtick stuff to bring in business), there are a lot of new faces (staff and patrons), and prices have gone up while service and food quality are going down. Here's a business model idea: instead of packing the place with the karaoke night crowd, provide proper training for your staff to ensure stand-out food and service--that'll pack the place with regulars (like we used to be) who become the bread and butter of your establishment.
