I was super excited to try this place but it was just ok for me. Blueberry matcha with extra matcha was pretty good but nothing spectacular, I definitely had better matcha. Cortado was so weak for me, not sure if I'm tired traveling with kids or it didn't do any magic for me this morning and I'm sensitive to caffeine. Nice spot for a good coffee. I tried their spring special blackberry caramel latte it was tasty, but definitely on the sweeter side, so not ideal if you prefer less sweet coffee. The place has a great vibe and ambiance, but the seating isn't very comfortable. There's very limited space, and the chairs/bar stools aren't great for sitting long. I wouldn't recommend it as a work spot, there are better cafés nearby for that. But the coffee is great, and the staff is friendly read more

I have been working in this building for years and typically drink my coffee and matcha at home, but whenever I do go down to Anchorhead, I'm always greeted by incredibly kind and welcoming people. I genuinely haven't had a bad experience yet! From remembering me by name to being so patient and informative when I have questions about matcha, I've always felt really welcomed and taken care of by all team members. Specifically, matcha can be hit or miss for me at cafés, so I really appreciate the thoughtful recommendations and willingness to help me figure out what I might like. Today, I went with the iced Hella Melon Matcha at 50% sweetness based on the barista's recommendation, and it is so good! Think Melona ice cream and matcha. Finally got to try the popular Blueberry Matcha that I've heard so much about. I hear mixed opinions about it, usually either it being pretty good, or just very mediocre. When I tried it out yesterday, it was surprisingly good. I usually order matcha with whole milk, but the standard drink they have uses oat milk. First sip I could instantly taste the blueberry flavor, and the matcha was also present. Every ingredient in this drink complemented each other, and I would try it again. read more

Anchorhead Coffee is a great shop to stop by for a coffee fix. I stopped by on a weekday morning around 9 am and there a long line. Thankfully, it moved pretty fast so we were out within 25 minutes. My husband and I ordered the cold brew and the seasonal hey ube latte. The cold brew was my absolute fave of the two since it was creamy and unique. The ube latte was a solid drink, but I couldn't taste much of the ube essence. There's multiple tables inside to sit. The employees are also friendly and helpful. Prices here are a bit steep, but drinks are high quality. read more

I don't get the chance to go to Anchorhead Coffee often but every time I do they made a great cup of coffee. The barista was super friendly and greeted me with enthusiasm. The shop is attached to a high rise and it's an excellent work space or a space to meet up with friends. No street parking best to head over here from Pacific Place Mall. read more

While visiting Seattle, I drank a lot of coffee. This was hands down the best espresso I had in the city. This place is busy! There was a line both times I came in here on the same day. One visit was earlier in the morning, and the place was packed. The line was nearly out the door. The second time was later in the morning; the pastries were wiped out, and the place was still decently full of coffee drinkers. I ended up visiting the second time because of their very cool merch selection, and I regretted not buying a shirt I liked the first time. I only tried the espresso here, though they had many other tasty-sounding drinks and delicious-looking pastries. The espresso was not bitter, well-balanced, and at a great temperature. They serve it right with sparkling water on the side. Absolutely perfect! Out of all of the coffee spots in Seattle, Anchorhead Coffee is worth the visit for sure! read more

Super conveniently located if you're staying near the convention center. This is one block away from the Hyatt Regency on Howell. If you don't know it's there you'd likely walk right by it. It's super cute inside but not very big. The staff was genuinely nice and super helpful with recommending a drink. I can't remember what I got but it had blackberry syrup in it and it was so good. Perfectly mixed and had very pretty foam art. read more

A great coffee spot next to the Convention Center! There was a little bit of a line, but it moved fairly quickly. I ordered the hey bae latte with oat milk and it might be one of the best lattes I've had. I love ube and hazelnut, and have never thought to combine the two flavors but it was so tasty! It wasn't terribly sweet and the latte was very smooth. There is some seating inside but it seemed like most people were taking their drinks to go. The drinks were also made pretty quickly! HONEY BUNCHES OF COLD BREW! GET THAT!!! that is all i need to say, this coffee was soooo good. maybe because my favorite cereal is honey bunches of oats, but it is literally the coffee version of that cereal. Its nice and sweet, hints of honey, and the coffee flavor is not so strong where the bitterness overpowers the flavor. I wish they had more locations outside of Seattle, this place is truly soooo good. However, the cup is small and its a bit on the pricier side for the size you get, but its a great coffee shop to try when youre in Seattle! read more

My husband and I came here after seeing all the positive reviews. When we walked in, there was a long line for ordering drinks. The staff taking our order seemed a bit impatient when we asked about their drip coffee and whether it was light roast. We ended up getting the Honey Bunches of Cold Brew since it was their original drink. The drink was just OK - and questionable if it was worth $8. Coffee was good, decor was great with Christmas decors, pastries were delicious, and service is friendly. This coffee shop is inside an office building so I didn't have much expectations. I always see a line of tourists so decided to try it! It did not disappoint. Coffee was well roasted and had deep flavors. The cheddar dill scones had the salty and savory flavors. The morning muffin had a good mix of carrots, raisins, nuts, and some seeds. It felt sweet when I bit into it because it had sugar on top but went well with the coffee. Stopped in for a quick coffee and pastry while staying in the area. The latte was very well made and the cinnamon roll was flaky, not too sweet, and had a nice tangy (sour cream?) icing. Atmosphere was relaxed with an undercurrent of office workers escaping their cubicles. Great music, and comfortable seating. Been wanting to try the blueberry matcha here for soooo long. My friends and I came around 12PM on Saturday. It was busy but not super difficult to find seating. I brought my book and they brought their laptops to get some work done. The music isn't too loud, so it is easy to focus. The blueberry matcha was good, but the matcha flavor wasn't very strong. It is more of a blueberry drink, which isn't bad, but if you are a matcha lover, then you probably want something a bit stronger. My friends got the Stroop latte which they really liked. It's sweet, so if you like less sugary flavors then try something else. There aren't many outlets here, so if you need a charger then get here early to get one of the outlets or come with a full battery. Also, the chairs are oddly uncomfortable but it isn't the worst thing. read more

Serves up one of the smoothest-tasting coffees I've had in a while--strong but incredibly well-balanced. Anchorhead was my favorite coffee I tried in Seattle (and I went to like 6 different coffee shops)!! I got a cappuccino with a little bit of the housemade tangerine caramel. It was just the right amount of sweetness! Caffeine is required when early flights are on the agenda. My best friend and I touched down in Seattle and were in desperate need of caffeine. I wanted to try a new coffee shop, and lots of local guides recommended Anchorhead Coffee. The atmosphere was sleepy and calm. A dim cafe with dark furniture. There's a good amount of communal and private seating inside plus seats outside. Free WiFi is available and it's a popular spot to work. The baristas are kind and efficient. Ordering was a breeze and my drink came out quite fast. The only thing is the specialty drink prices aren't listed. I try to limit my coffee, and so has their Iced Blueberry Matcha. My best friend got their Latte with Burnt Honey. Drinks come in different sizes depending on if it's hot or iced. Cups are cute and small. The blueberry matcha was superb! Heavy on the blueberry yet sweet and light. A refreshing drink. My friend said her drink was strong but she didn't taste a burnt honey flavor. Anchorhead Coffee has a few locations in Seattle. I visited Anchorhead with friends on a work trip for a little afternoon pick me up. This is a trendy spot and the interior is a little dark, but there are big windows. In addition to coffee and pastries they had really cool merchandise (pins, shirts, stickers). There is interior seating but I imagine it can be crowded at peak times. My coworker ordered a blueberry matcha and holy moley it was sooo tasty! Perfect combination of milk, Matcha and blueberry flavor without being overly sweet. My other friend ordered a mocha and it was like on unsweetened cup of hot coca - so good! I tried a honey bunches of cold brew, which tasted like honeycomb cereal milk. It was great but a little too much on the sweet side for me. I'm sure I could order it again with less sugar. Coffee and espresso quality was top tier. I had a work trip in Seattle and wanted to try as many coffee shops as I could. This was the first one I visited and it was a great intro to the Seattle coffee scene! The menu of crafted drinks was small but unique, and everything sounded delicious. The selection of coffee varieties was pretty large! I ended up getting the specialty cold brew (honey bunches of oats) and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich, and both were fantastic. Five stars for the coffee, three stars for the food. When I'm visiting Seattle for work, I usually stop by Anchorhead. I like their coffee and seasonal specials and will often get something to-go. I feel like their drinks are not too sweet and the staff are friendly. However, where the store could improve is their bakery offerings. This last time I visited, I got both the berry scone and chocolate chip cookie. Both tasted very dry and slightly stale, which was a major let down. Overall, I'll come back for coffee but skip the pastries and suggest others do the same. read more

Simple menu - one page , not a lot choices on breakfast food besides bakery (minus one star on it). Their Double Matcha is extremely grassy, less of the "bitter rich" matcha flavor that's common from Double matchas like from Rok in LA. Their Biscoff Latte is REALLY good despite them using a storebought Biscoff syrup. They do the cream top so well, making sure its always the right amount of creamy and the right amount of sweet. There is also this deep, blonde complex flavor at the end of each sip due to the beans they use for the espresso shots. I'd love to give them more business by buying their beans and using them for my daily espresso shot pulls at home when I don't have time to make it to their cafe before work. I have been to Moment at least 15x times at this point and bought more than 25 drinks, but they still won't tell me what Roastery they source their coffee beans from :( I ask every single time, I understand coffee shops not necessarily giving their recipes away but hiding the source of their beans so vehemently is kind of off-putting.... Its quite commonplace for coffee shops to proudly present their beans, Philz, Yoka, BLKDOT, etc. What are they trying to hide? There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. We also got a round of beers. Or in my case I got their hard seltzer, which wasn't too bad, I would probably just get a light beer next time. Service was great outside! Also you get the nice breeze, they also had heaters on top. Picnic style tables and quick service!

I recently visited a coffee shop that left a lasting impression on me. With so many coffee shops to choose from in the area, I wasn't sure which one to try, but I'm glad Yelp steered me here. One of the highlights of my visit was the incredible signature honey bunches of cold brew. The rich, smooth flavor of the cold brew was perfectly complemented by the sweetness of the burnt honey. It was a unique and delicious combination that I would highly recommend to anyone who loves coffee. In addition to the honey bunches of cold brew, I also tried the pistachio drink, and it was equally amazing. The creamy texture of the drink was perfectly balanced by the nutty flavor of the pistachios, making it a perfect choice for anyone who loves nutty, creamy drinks. Despite the fact that there are many coffee shops in the area, I found myself making a second trip to this particular shop before heading home. My husband and I visited Anchorhead last week and had a wonderful experience! The ambience was excellent and the buildout is gorgeous! The baristas were friendly and engaging and the coffee itself was delicious. We love excellent coffee and trying out new cafes is our thing. We tried a cappuccino, an espresso, and sampled some of their single origin pour over options. All were on point and delicious, but the pour overs were definitely the highlight for me, particularly the Ethiopian. They also had some delicious looking pastries, but we were so full we didn't try them this time. We will next time for sure. So excited to see another excellent shop in the heart of downtown. You definitely need to check it out next time you're in the city. read more

This place was a bit of a mixed bag for me. On one hand, the coffee had a distinct bitterness that I wasn't too fond of. Additionally, the visible trash in the shop was quite off-putting and detracted from the overall ambiance. The shop's decor was modern and stylish, with a comfortable seating area for customers to relax and enjoy their coffee.
