Nice spot for a good coffee. I tried their spring special blackberry caramel latte it was tasty, but definitely on the sweeter side, so not ideal if you prefer less sweet coffee. The place has a great vibe and ambiance, but the seating isn't very comfortable. There's very limited space, and the chairs/bar stools aren't great for sitting long. I wouldn't recommend it as a work spot, there are better cafés nearby for that. But the coffee is great, and the staff is friendly

I got honey bunches cold brew 12oz iced and it was delicious! The staff were very friendly as well and made my first time a great experience! There is plenty of seating inside, merch & coffee beans for sale.

    Iced Hella Melon Matcha

I have been working in this building for years and typically drink my coffee and matcha at home, but whenever I do go down to Anchorhead, I'm always greeted by incredibly kind and welcoming people. I genuinely haven't had a bad experience yet! From remembering me by name to being so patient and informative when I have questions about matcha, I've always felt really welcomed and taken care of by all team members. Specifically, matcha can be hit or miss for me at cafés, so I really appreciate the thoughtful recommendations and willingness to help me figure out what I might like. Today, I went with the iced Hella Melon Matcha at 50% sweetness based on the barista's recommendation, and it is so good! Think Melona ice cream and matcha. I just wanted to give a shoutout to the team because it's really nice to consistently have such friendly, thoughtful service. Thank you!

Finally got to try the popular Blueberry Matcha that I've heard so much about. I hear mixed opinions about it, usually either it being pretty good, or just very mediocre. When I tried it out yesterday, it was surprisingly good. I usually order matcha with whole milk, but the standard drink they have uses oat milk. First sip I could instantly taste the blueberry flavor, and the matcha was also present. Every ingredient in this drink complemented each other, and I would try it again.

I don't get the chance to go to Anchorhead Coffee often but every time I do they made a great cup of coffee. The barista was super friendly and greeted me with enthusiasm. The shop is attached to a high rise and it's an excellent work space or a space to meet up with friends. No street parking best to head over here from Pacific Place Mall.

While visiting Seattle, I drank a lot of coffee. This was hands down the best espresso I had in the city. This place is busy! There was a line both times I came in here on the same day. One visit was earlier in the morning, and the place was packed. The line was nearly out the door. The second time was later in the morning; the pastries were wiped out, and the place was still decently full of coffee drinkers. I ended up visiting the second time because of their very cool merch selection, and I regretted not buying a shirt I liked the first time. I only tried the espresso here, though they had many other tasty-sounding drinks and delicious-looking pastries. The espresso was not bitter, well-balanced, and at a great temperature. They serve it right with sparkling water on the side. Absolutely perfect! Out of all of the coffee spots in Seattle, Anchorhead Coffee is worth the visit for sure!

Super conveniently located if you're staying near the convention center. This is one block away from the Hyatt Regency on Howell. If you don't know it's there you'd likely walk right by it. It's super cute inside but not very big. The staff was genuinely nice and super helpful with recommending a drink. I can't remember what I got but it had blackberry syrup in it and it was so good. Perfectly mixed and had very pretty foam art.

Quick and friendly service. A nice relaxed vibe inside with plenty of seating options. Watched some folks sitting and playing chess and others working or reading. Had a signature Honey Bunches Iced Cold Brew. Delicious. Sweet honey with a hint of cinnamon. Also had the sausage and egg sandwich. Really good. Hot and tasty and was surprised by the addition of garlic aioli.

    Ube Hazelnut Latte

Good coffee, great service. My Ube Hazelnut Latte could have been stronger on the coffee front, but maybe it was on me for getting a fancy sweet drink. Regardless, the ube and hazelnut made for a tasty flavor combo. Studious vibe inside, good for schoolwork or WFH.

All I can say is the seasonal drink- brown butter salted caramel latte is AMAZING!! Sooo so so good! Cashier/ barista was kind and my coffee was quickly made. We got a chocolate chip cookie too, it was ok. That latte was amazing tho!! Hope it can change from seasonal to permanent item!!

    Hey bae latte
    Jessica Y.

A great coffee spot next to the Convention Center! There was a little bit of a line, but it moved fairly quickly. I ordered the hey bae latte with oat milk and it might be one of the best lattes I've had. I love ube and hazelnut, and have never thought to combine the two flavors but it was so tasty! It wasn't terribly sweet and the latte was very smooth. There is some seating inside but it seemed like most people were taking their drinks to go. The drinks were also made pretty quickly! Would definitely be back and still haven't stopped thinking about this latte.

My husband and I came here after seeing all the positive reviews. When we walked in, there was a long line for ordering drinks. The staff taking our order seemed a bit impatient when we asked about their drip coffee and whether it was light roast. We ended up getting the Honey Bunches of Cold Brew since it was their original drink. The drink was just OK - and questionable if it was worth $8. Not sure if it's just what we ordered, but overall, we had a meh experience here.

Honey bunches of oats cold brew & hot vanilla latte
    Ashley W.

Easily said, best coffee I've ever had. The proof is in the photos, I had two coffees every morning. Hot vanilla latte and the Honey Bunches of Oats Cold Brew! WOW! I am here for work and sad that I can't stop by regularly. I also wish I had more time to try out the matchas! Cool vibes. It was dark, quiet, and decorated for Halloween. Very comforting and everyone here was nice. I could hang here all day!

The croissant was on the crispier side, especially with the almond crumble on top it was a bit too cripsy for me, but I tend to like soft and flakey pastries so it's probably a matter of taste. There was a TON of almond filling in the middle. I enjoyed the taste and texture but it was too much filling for me personally. I would have liked more croissant in my croissant, so to say haha. The chocolate was slightly dark which worked well with the sweet pastry and filling! Overall I enjoyed the croissant but it was a tad too heavy on the filling and cripsy/crunchy for me.

They have so many yummy options, but I settled on a mushroom and Gruyère pastry and an earl grey blueberry cruffin. The mushroom and Gruyère pastry was SO good!!! We ate it the day after and threw it in the air fryer for a couple of minutes, and it was so delicious. The cruffin was huge! Topped with a delicious light Earl grey cream that wasn't too sweet. They still had a few of the BLUEBERRY CROISSANT (6.10) left, though! The blueberries were juicy, but the croissant itself was a bit dry. I'm guessing it would have been much better if we had come closer to opening. The croissant was also beautifully presented, with an intricately braided exterior adorned with a generous amount of blueberries. They also have an extensive selection of bread, which you can pre-order a few days in advance, as well as a variety of cafe drinks. Their patisserie is stronger than the pastries IMO and while I wouldn't wait in a crazy line, it's still lovely neighborhood spot and perhaps the pastries are a better texture earlier in the day. Highlights: - Miso Roasted White Chocolate Cronut: My favorite item in their current rotation. The cronut was a tad soggy, but the buttery texture inside is still satisfying and the miso white chocolate filling is lusciously smooth and perfectly balanced between savory and sweet. - Blackberry Corn Mousse Cake: Blueberry mousse is the perfect fluffy texture and the corn is very subtle. The sponge cake is light and perfectly contrasts against the bottom layer of crunchies to add a bit of variety. - Blueberry Corn Croissant: Pastry also held up quite well on this one with the outside still being quite crisp. The inner cream unlike the mousse cake is very corn forward with a bit of blueberry jam to balance it out. Skip: - Black Forest Cake: Found the cake to be a bit too firm with the cream filling to be a little bland and too firm as well. Just wanted this to be better than it was. Also, it looks totally different from the photo on their website heads up. - Tomato Basil Croissant: Just found this to be off ratio wise. The only tomato is the 3 small quarters of cherry tomato at the top and a light smear of basil cream. I can see this being very good, but current form factor isn't doing it any favors.
