I think its family owned and they're super nice. I never write reviews so the fact that i did shows how good this spot is. The food i got was rlly good but also the food everyone one else order looked great too.

Delightful service and very clean cafe. Cesar is passionate about his products and the customer's experience. I ordered an iced matcha tea, but it was too sweet for my taste. Cesar offered to make an unsweetened version, but since it was a premade powder, I opted for an iced tea instead. This was fine. The arepas themselves are delicious. Great texture, flavor, and chew. My friend had one with black beans which she said was good, but not as warm as could be. The shredded beef in mine was also not hot (so the cheese didn't melt) but it does not take away from the experience. Cesar said the flavor and the way the meat is sliced is authentically Venezuelan. Nice location, sufficient parking and we were told by another guest that there is typically a line out the door. We waltzed in 30 minutes before closing and were served quickly. Definitely worth a stop.

Carne Mechada Panini with Chicken 12 oz - Chicken Coconut Curry Soup

Arosa Cafe may be small, but it sure makes up for it with its comfy PNW decor, great service, and delightful food. Hidden in a plaza next to the arboretum, this place can be easy to miss - but it's definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a nice brunch scene. My wife and I ordered: Chicken avocado panini Carne mechada panini Chicken coconut curry soup The paninis were nice and light, and I would highly recommend the chicken avocado panini. I do love my paninis, and the char was crispy and the avocado added a lot of flavor with each bite. The carne mechada was a bit dry - however, the owner quickly brought out some garlic aioli, which was a huge savior for the panini. Overall, the paninis were pretty tasty. Not a huge fan of the soups - they were pretty mediocre. But the paninis were great, and I was eyeing, with great envy, every waffle that passed my way (they looked nice too). The food's pretty good - not the best, but far from the worst. But what gives this place its unique "umph" that pushes this review to a 5-star rating is its vibe and the pleasantries of the staff. The walls are adorned with photos and art that adds to the character of the cafe, and there's a mini-makers mart on the other side to help sell small trinkets and candles to support local artists. It's a sight to behold, and one that just makes this place that much more lovable. So come on in to Arosa's Cafe and admire the cozy nature of this shop. They are planning on establishing another location up north in Ravenna, and we will soon be frequenting that location once it settles.

The food here is really good but the standout is truly the amazing service. This is functionally a "grab n' go" coffee shop but...done to the highest possible level. The breakfast sandwiches are handmade and delicious and there is a deluxe, but tiny, indoor dining area and two small tables outside. I was a bit disappointed to not find any arepas (the main reason I came here), but the staff informed me that they only do those on Saturday. Also a bummer that they charge for coffee refills.

Food: 4.5/5 | Service: 4/5 | Experience: 4/5 This cafe near the arboretum was a good start to the day. The cafe itself has several tables, but it seems like most folks take their breakfast to go. I ordered the black forest ham panini and the strawberry liege waffle. My order took just a bit longer than I had anticipated, but nothing egregious. The portion size for the panini was smaller than expected, but the taste and sandwich itself was good. I would say the highlight was the liege waffle, which was soft and warm and topped with whipped cream.

The service here was amazing and so welcoming. I really enjoyed the liege waffles and the mocha is a must get!! If you're hungry, order the Arepa Pabellon, it's super filling and delicious. There's a free parking lot and a few small tables outside if you decide to bring your dog!

The service was super friendly and efficient! Very kind people! It also had a really pretty ambiance. The waffle was tasty. The matcha was pretty good. I'd certainly recommend it.

Stopped here on the way home from the Washington Park Arboretum. There's a small parking lot for the shopping place. Decided to try the signature mocha but iced and a chocolate croissant. Croissant was available immediately and the mocha was ready within a minute. Not only was the croissant delicious, the Iced mocha was outstanding, just the right amount of sweet with the right amount of coffee. There are a few tables inside with a couple of tables outside and gives the feel of a coffee nook. I want to try their waffles next time when I visit.

This was on a Sunday afternoon close to 5pm, and there were still so many people occupying nearly every seat inside. I did come back to try their matcha matcha drink only to find it gone from their current menu as of May 2026. Instead, their turon matcha immediately caught my eye, as it has banana and I've been obsessed with banana-flavored toppings and puree on my matcha lately. It has matcha and house banana puree, both of which work well together. The tiny layer of house banana puree has all the flavor, especially when you mix the whole drink together. Very refreshing, and their ceremonial matcha's grassy tones still came out despite the banana puree being just as strong in the drink. Their matcha here comes pretty close to making it to the highest spots on my list of my most favorite matcha places in Seattle. Even if it isn't on the top of that list, their drinks are still 5+ star quality.

Clearly, I've had ongoing issues with this location not filling my premium-priced drink to the top. Today, they left an inch of the cup unfilled. I politely asked them to remake the drink so it was full. The young, twenty-something barista had the nerve to tell me, "We are instructed to leave the cup unfilled by half an inch from the top." (It was at least a full inch unfilled.) I began to explain that while I don't mind paying the premium price, I do expect a full cup. He then said something about, "this is how we measure it." I mentioned that he's made my drink before and filled it to the top as requested. At that point, I decided this would absolutely be my last visit to this Starbucks. I've complained about the short-filled drinks here before, and I never, EVER, have this problem at any other Starbucks I've visited across the continental U.S. Is it a lack of training? I can't help but wonder. Why is this Starbucks so consistently bad at filling drinks? I asked for a refund but felt awful because I was so frustrated. Most of the staff there is very nice. This young fellow's excuse was pathetic. I'll say it again -- if we're paying a premium price, fill the drink to the top. For Pete's sake, I even have it listed as my name on the cup.

I ordered an iced pour over (Zambia Kateshi Estate Anaerobic Natural) for $8, with tasting notes of pineapple, blackberry, and lychee. it was incredibly refreshing -- fruity, juicy, and vibrant. I enjoyed it so much that I bought a bag of the beans to bring home.
