Delicious coffee and food selections. Close to Pike Market Seattle and offeres relaxing setting to unwind and chill in coffee seating with free wifi and restroom for patrons. Friendly service. Tried the seasonal blueberry mat ha with oatmilk and it was delicious

Excellent coffee, my cortado was very well made and beautiful. The Lorraine croissant was warmed and not overheated, but could have used a little more. The chocolate chip cookie was offered warmed and I am so glad I accepted. Yum!

First coffee in Seattle. Searched for a spot near where we were staying that might have some sort of "slow bar" option and/or single origin offerings. I was disappointed to hear that a pour over wouldn't be an option at this location. I was happy to hear they gave me their house drip blend in a legit cup vs. paper/plastic. The drip was a medium roast and tasted great. My wife got a cold brew that was also great. Around $11 for the pair, mine was a large, hers a small. Definitely worthwhile for a solid cup of joe, maybe look elsewhere if you are looking for a pour over or something similar.

Medium latte ($6.70) - fairly weak on the espresso

Spacious coffee shop with lots of room to lounge and do work, but I found it a little dirty (crumbs were all over the tables and the bathroom was dirty and also missing paper towels), lacking in presentation (we got there 30 min after it opened and the pastry shelf was mostly empty), and understaffed (only one person was working that morning so it took a while to place our order). As for the coffee, we just ordered a medium latte for $6.70. It was okay but we found it pretty weak in espresso - it barely woke me up. We were told the large latte had the same amount of espresso so good thing we didn't get that. Maybe we will have to get an extra shot of espresso next time or just go somewhere else.

    Matcha Fog (Soy Milk)

My best friend and I spent the afternoon at Pike Place and needed a spot to chill. Yelp led us to Victrola Coffee Roasters, the perfect spot to sip and hang out. The cafe gives an industrial vibe and is well-spaced--opened with lots of indoor seating. WiFi is available and it's a popular spot for people to work at. It's also extremely quiet inside. Coming on a weekday, the service was speedy. Ordering was a breeze and my drink came out fast. Matcha Fog has been trending, and what a coincidence they had it here! The drink was amazing, which I got with Soy Milk. Loved the earthiness of the matcha, floral taste from the earl grey, and creaminess from the milk. My best friend was also a fan! Needing some downtime, a caffeinated beverage, or a place to work near Pike Place? Victrola on Pine St. has you with ample seating and strong caffeine! Easy walking distance from Pike Place.

They do NOT have pour-over. The single origin espressor orange cardomam latte was very good, not too sweet.

Expensive and tiny servings. Line moved very slowly. They forgot lavender in my latte ($0.90) upcharge and forgot almond milk in my friend's mocha ($1.25 upcharge).

Excellent coffee close to Pike's with house made syrups. Ordered a cappuccino and my wife got a flavored latte. They apologized for not having the size cup for her latte and had it in a to go cup-- can tell they take their customers fairly seriously. Cappuccino was excellent. The flavored latte was also very good and it's cool they do the house made so it's not a bunch of HFCS with dye slop.

This place was one of the places to check out in Seattle and I love it! Just got an Americano w/ a pastry and just hit the spot and needed a little pick me up after a long day of exploring Seattle. I wish I could sit down and enjoy the architecture, the decor, and vibe of the cafe, but when in vacation, time must go on!

    Carmel Latte and blueberry scone

Heavenly, Carmel Latte is the perfect start of the morning, and a blueberry scone is a treat. The service is so nice and friendly, it's wonderful to meet a smiling face at the beginning of the day. I'll have to remember this little coffee nook on my next visit.

    Cookies and Cream chocolate bar.

We came across this place only being I needed to use restroom and it's for paying customers only. My Daughternlaw was gonna purchase something to get me the code but being I needed to use bathroom I told her I'd get something for them. I got cookies and and oatmilk, lavender latte for one of my sons and a candy bar. It seemed pricy but I tasted a piece of my Daughternlaws cookie and it was delicious, son loved his latte and other son hasn't tried his cookies and cream candy bar but I'm thinking that it'll be delicious it's a cute Lil shop with friendly service.

Do they serve Geisha coffee (in a cup, not packaged)? I'm planning a trip in July. Thanks for any input!

Unlike the majority of coffee shops I've tried in Seattle, Hello Em has ample parking right on the same street, which was a HUGE relief when I was running hungry and borderline hypoglycemic. When I walked in earlier this morning, I was warmly greeted by a staff member who, after I mentioned it was my first visit, thoughtfully walked me through their top-selling items. Bonus: while waiting for my food and beverage, I explored and was mesmerized by the beautifully curated aesthetic and Vietnamese decor, which was thoughtfully designed and made my wait enjoyable. I ordered an iced Cà Phê Brûlée (torched egg coffee), which turned out to be such a creamy, decadent treat once I stirred the torched top into the strong roast beneath it. For food, I was torn between the Sữa đặc (condensed milk) Pandan Croissant and the Ăn Sáng (breakfast) croissant so I decided to just order both. The Pandan Croissant was sweet and buttery, while the Breakfast Croissant was a protein-rich, savory blend of honey ham, Chả lụa (Vietnamese ham), omelet, and a light spread of mayo. I left full, caffeinated, and BEYOND impressed. If you're after high quality Vietnamese coffee and pastries paired with warm, attentive service, Hello Em is well worth the trip!!!!

Definitely a hopping place at the end of the workday. It's got a darker ambiance and it's cozy. It has indoor, outdoor, and patio seating, though we chose to stay indoor. Pro tip - the poofs make you sit REALLY low. The food choices around 1pm were dismal, and limited. Maybe they'd sold out, or maybe they just don't have a lot there, but nothing even looked fresh enough to warrant purchase. The other thing that killed me was the service. There was one person on the entire 4 hours I was there, and it made for an incredibly slow experience. It was friendly enough, if not a little dismissive. Prices are reasonable and there is paid parking across the street, but take that with a "for Seattle" caveat.

The staff at the time were warm (Michael was the best), knew regulars by name, and made every visit feel special. The coffee was excellent and it felt like a true neighborhood gem. Over time, the people who made this place so memorable moved on, and with them went the quality and the warmth. I opted to support other local coffee shops instead. I returned recently to use a reward I had accumulated, excited to see how things had changed since my last visit. When I asked to check my rewards balance before ordering, I was told I could only do so after completing the transaction. Every other coffee shop I frequent allows this beforehand, so I pushed back to clarify. What followed was one of the most unwelcoming interactions I have experienced at any business. The staff member's tone was hostile and dismissive from the moment I asked a simple question, and it did not let up. I felt uncomfortable enough to cancel my order entirely. When I asked for a receipt to confirm my refund, she threw it away in front of me. A colleague had to ask her again on my behalf, and she snapped that she had already discarded it. Another customer standing nearby witnessed this exchange and looked visibly appalled. I reached out to the owner privately before leaving a public review, hoping to have a real conversation. She chose not to follow up with me about my experience. Instead, she wrote back to say she had already spoken with her staff and that a separate customer had contacted her to say I was the problem, and that her team had handled everything with grace. She closed by suggesting I had not met a basic standard of respect. I want to be clear: the customer she referenced appeared to be acquainted with the barista. I will leave readers to draw their own conclusions about whose account was actively sought out. I also want to note that I am not alone in this experience. Other reviewers here have flagged the same pattern of cold, unwelcoming service at this location. That tells me this is not an off day. It is worth reading those reviews before you visit. The refund for items that were never made has still not been processed, four days later, which caused me to have to reach out to an owner again. I have now been refunded. I share all of this because I think people deserve to know what to expect, both at the counter and if something goes wrong. This is not the place I once loved, and the ownership's response confirmed that.

Boona Boona inhabits this territory with admirable commitment. The space is undeniably curated--every chair, surface, and design choice seems to have undergone a rigorous internal audit for maximum urban cool. Unfortunately, the coffee itself feels rather blasé, as though it were merely incidental to the aesthetic project, had high hopes but fell short. One senses that considerable effort has gone into cultivating the idea of a coffee shop, while the actual coffee is left to fend for itself. The larger issue is the insistence on hipness. There is something faintly exhausting about the whole performance: the studied minimalism, the knowing atmosphere, the sense that you have wandered onto a particularly well-lit side street in Brooklyn circa 2014. And, with affection to Seattle, this isn't NYC. It doesn't need to cosplay as one. To be fair, there is plenty to admire if your primary concern is atmosphere and Instagrammability. But coffee should ultimately taste like something worth getting out of bed for, rather than merely providing a prop for the room. The irony is that there is actually a thoughtful and genuinely worthwhile mission beneath all the carefully curated café affectations: supporting African coffee growers, cultivating community, and preserving East African coffee traditions. Which makes the relentless performance of coolness feel somewhat unnecessary. The substance is there; I simply wish the coffee experience felt as compelling as the mission statement.
