We had a supreme pizza and it certainly wasn't that. Not sure why a chef would give them praise he obviously never had an authentic NYC pie. Basic ingredients like sauce and mozzarella was the bare minimum actually you couldn't find any sauce. Additionally I love a thin crust this was more like a pizza cracker. $9 for a cannoli unreal and it wasn't completely stuffed. Forget ambiance there isn't any. Looks a bit like a dive bar decor. So much for having a romantic 5 course Italian meal. I am from Connecticut near Pepe's and Sally's in New Haven I know good pizza. Was really excited to try I thought I had finally found a real Italian pizza in Biloxi but doesn't seem like the South gets it. My wife and I have been several times. I love the true sicillian food. The homemade mozzarella sticks, homemade Italian sausage and homemade sauce made daily. It doesn't get any fresher. Now for my favorites. The shrimp Alphonso, pepperoni and Italian sausage pizza and most of all the best chocolate mousse you will ever put in your mouth. This is by far my favorite restaurant in the city! The food was beyond amazing (including their gluten free pizzas) and the service was so welcoming. The chef is tremendously kind and the staff are very attentive. There came a point when I would eat here with a friend after work multiple times a week because of the great food and people. We still would be eating here regularly if we didn't move states. I would highly recommend the Sicilian if you are both visiting or local! read more

We drove 50 miles to eat next door but decided to eat here. What a mistake. It took over an hour to get our food, only 2 of us and when we were paying the bill the guy asked how it was and my husband said terrible he offered no reply and no customer service! Offer us a desert to go or a discount because we had to wait forever to get our food. No sense of customer satisfaction at all. The server girl was so slow and moved with no sense of urgency! My husband's pet peeve is having to wait on our check and Togo boxes. She made us wait even longer.. They could clearly see that we were getting distress because they came to the table and apologize for the wait but the apology offered nothing to our hunger after driving an hour and to top it off I had to drive home in the dark 50 miles. Now the Greek place next door has one little old lady doing the job that 2 of them here do and we have never had a problem next door. That woman could run circles around these two goofs. We won't be back and I don't care what kind of excuses you have of your chef being sick, do some customer relations and offer us a discount or a bread stick while we have to wait an hour. As we were leaving there was a couple getting out of their car and I warned them about our experience. A little customer service would go a long way!! read more

I'd heard great things about this place, and they are all definitely true! We've had a carry-out pizza, which was fantastic, and recently stopped in for lunch. It's a small place, but we were able to get in easily on a weekday at 11:30 a.m. I tried a pasta lunch special, and my dad had cheese ravioli. The red sauce was incredible. What a wonderful old style Italian restaurant! The pizza was incredible, the sauce had the perfect balance of spices and seasonings. Crust was well made and not too thick. Alright, they don't serve alcohol but you can byob and there is a liquor store next door. And it's not on the beach, about a mile inland just outside the base. It's small like most family run Italian restaurants and you can enjoy listening to dean Martin and Tony Bennett instead of the usual modern music. This place is romantic! read more

I've been gluten free for a decade, and while pasta technology has improved substantially over the years It's still somewhat lacking. The Sicilian II, blew me away. I wasn't expecting gluten free pasta this good, as I've had it from myriad places across the country. But when they said there would be a pretty substantial wait for it when I went in there for dinner to check it out my heart skipped a beat and eyes went wide. "Could this be the real deal?" Oh it was. Apart from home-made this was the best spaghetti and meatballs I've had. (A basic dish I know, but it's one of my favorites.) The staff was was super friendly, prices were reasonable, location was surprising as it's in a run-down strip mall. The inside didn't match the exterior though. Absolutely amazing little gem! Can't say enough about the food, ambiance and staff. The saganaki appetizer is one of my favorites, I go there just for that sometimes. The house vinaigrette dressing is fantastic , it's fresh and tangy. Pizza is also delicious,with the obviously quality ingredients and a bit of love baked into it as well. I've tried nearly all the entrees and have been amazed every time. The cacciatore, pesto entrees are two of my favorites! Not sure who is voting this restaurant one of the "best in the state", but the food is mediocre at best. Ordered the food for delivery and they can't even get that right. Nothing more frustrating than to not receive part of your order. It's simple.. Check the receipt, put items in bag, then VERIFY! Not rocket science! When I pay $92 for a meal to be delivered ($11 in delivery fees and service charges, not including tip) and you can't even get the order right?? When I call and complain I'm offered to have that item refunded like that is them doing me a favor! You want to make it up, send someone back out with my correct order! Take my advice.. Go to olive garden and save some money AND get better food! read more

We began our meal with calamari, which my husband claimed was the most tender he has ever had. Chris was great in his recommendation of the shrimp Pasta Alfonso. This is his generations contribution to the menu and I'm impressed. The shrimp were huge and the bacon was a perfect subtle addition. My husband ordered the pizza with fresh made crust and sauce.
