The food here is excellent. My wife is allergic to gluten and the thing that immediately drew us to this place was the GF mozzarella sticks. My wife was so exciting to be able to have them for the first time in eight years. Our kids loved the Chicken Alfredo, my wife got the GF Pasta Alphonso, and I got the GF Pasta Marsala. It was the best food we had all week. The chef and staff were so friendly. They were all knowledgeable about our concerns with gluten. The chef came out several times throughout the dinner to check on the people that were there that night and had a conversation with each of them. Please don't let the exterior put you off going in and enjoying amazing atmosphere and food. You would be doing yourself a disservice to pass this place up. read more

The food, service, and ambiance are amazing! Chef Chris tries to speak to each table of patrons, welcoming them into his realm. Beautiful murals line the walls. A single table is set aside as a tribute to his father. It's cozy and inviting, putting you at ease as soon as you are immersed in the room. The gentle hum of quiet conversations, no loud showmanship, fill the room. The food is delicious! I have had the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and it is absolutely the best Alfredo I've ever tasted! Flavorful and a generous amount to cover the pasta perfectly. My husband had the shrimp Alfredo and loved it! I opted for the Mediterranean Pasta in a lemon sauce and it did not disappoint! With such generous portions, I took home half of my bowl to enjoy the next day. Here's the kicker....it was even better the next day! I plan to bring family here the next time they're in town. Though no alcohol is available to purchase, they do provide bottle service. My hubby and I love Italian food from the generations. We were excited to find this very cool, very authentic Italian restaurant. I want to say, looking from the outside, if you are prone to judge a book by it's cover you will miss a great Italian food experience. Evan was our knowledgeable server who did an excellent job. He shared a code for us to scan since the cost of items are subject to the current markets. For me, next to good food, service this is most important. You want to spend time here, it is not fast food, it is real Italian food filled with traditions and family love that we taste in each dish. From the calamari, cooked to perfection, to the Shrimp Alfonso, that I had and Eggplant parmigiana that my husband had it was all excellent. The portions are generous with plenty to take home. Even though we took food home we shared a cannoli that was one of the best! The music is totally old school even for me, and it was great to hear Dean Martin amongst others. meh. wasn't what it was hyped up to be. I had the meatballs and spaghetti and there was a variety of other dishes at the table. One person at our table really liked their pizza. The meatballs were plentiful (6) but not really tasty. The spaghetti sauce was 'ok' but nothing spectacular. Wow! We first found this place when craving a pizza while staying in Biloxi. The Sicilian pizza is amazing. We try and get one every time we are down here for a visit. Last night, we met family here and dined in and had an amazing meal. Antipasto appetizer followed by Lasagna. Lasagna was a family recipe and you could taste the love in every bite of this amazing dish. We brought our own wine. $5 cork fee is reasonable. Wait staff were very nice and took great care of us. Very good Italian cuisine and worth the visit. Wednesday was pizza night so I asked for the Sicilian to go and they brought it out hot and fresh with the check. I really enjoy this restaurants food and think that the owner is generally a good person who wants to please his customers. For the most part, I think he does an extremely good job at that. However, with that said, I was very disappointed to learn that they exclusively use veggie oil (seed oils) and not EVOO or even refined olive oils in their food. To make matters worse, when asked if they would mind using butter or olive by oil for the Mediterranean pasta dish that I wanted, they refused, saying that the kitchen is only set up for veggie oil . This is very disappointing. Not only because you would expect an "authentic" Italian restaurant to use only EVOO, but because they are not willing to substitute an alternative for people that cannot eat seed oils. I really hate to give them such a negative review, but I am extremely disappointed in the quality of oils they use, and not even being willing to help out customers who can't have the seed oils. I hope they do better, because I really do like their food and the people who run the restaurant. read more

I definitely didn't expect this little whole in the wall to have such incredible Italian food, but it absolutely did. Everything about this place was wonderful. Our sweet server was Emily and she was so helpful and patient to our group. The chicken Parmesan was excellent and so were the meatballs on the baked Ziti. Everything tasted like it was made with care and we felt extremely welcome there. The restaurant is BYOB, but conveniently there's a liquor store one door down. We finished the meal with a tiramisu and it was perfect, not too strong not too sweet. If you're scared because of how it looks from the outside, don't be! Second time here. It's hard to find good Italian food in the South, but this place did not disappoint. They have many gluten-free and vegetarian options, along with the classics. It's BYOB, with a liquor store conveniently located 3 doors down. I got the stuffed manicotti, which was perfectly al dente so it didn't get mushy. Served with a salad that needed a little love (maybe olives, or shaved onions instead of diced) and a basket of fresh bread reminiscent of dense zeppoles, dinner was a good deal. The sauce was a little sweet and bland, which is consistent across the South and may be a preferred taste. I finished the meal with the tiramisu, listed as being a "60 year old recipe". The texture was the best I ever had; not mushy but cakey and not too sweet. There was a slight crunch of chocolate pieces which was a nice touch. My wife, daughter, and I were done eating our dinner and my son's dinner still had not made it to the table. Ended up getting it to go and still had to wait 10 more minutes for it to come out.
