They have a small indoor seating area as well as a nice outdoor section in the back courtyard, which is perfect for warmer weather. Food was delicious and flavorful. I came for lunch and they had a fun menu of dishes with Indian twists on them. I tried the Bombay sandwich and their Aloo Tikki burger, and thoroughly enjoyed both. I wish they could offer their masala chai in iced format for the recent hot weather, but understand that it's more authentic this way. I'll definitely try it next time. read more

Had a delicious Chana masala roll with egg and almond rose cappuccino! Bro got the chili cheese toast and a masala chai! Although it was packed, service didn't take too long! Orders are placed at the counter, then served to your seat. It was a frigid day when I was there and a bit unpleasantly cold to have repeated opening and closing of doors (both sides of restaurant). During my visit, I experience good customer service; employees are kind and helpful with navigating Vegan options of the menu. As of June 6, 2026, one of the Vegan Handmade Kati Rolls is not on an online menu though one may find it on the in-store menu. The difference between the two Vegan rolls is that one has potatoes as core ingredients whereas the other has Chickpeas. Thinking of protein though of a light meal option due to having a high protein morning thus far then, I opt for the Kati Roll with the Chickpeas, which is so flavorful. From my very first bite, my mouth fills with non-spicy spices (though I like spices, so taste far more flavor than any mouth tingling sensation), pure savory rich soft delight, with nary an after taste (which, of these flavors, I think may be quite nice actually). The interior decorating seems quite Feng Shui Minimalist Industrialist. There is an outdoor eating area in somewhat of a more private court area away from the parking lot. I had the Bombay Sandwich: buttered triple-layered Pan de Mie (milk-soaked bread) stacked with veggies, cheese, and a mint-coriander chutney so good I almost proposed. Hubs devoured the Grilled Chili Cheese Toast: sourdough, cheddar, gouda, bell peppers, corn, and green chili- an upgrade that grilled cheese never knew it needed. Wow this a very cute local Indian fusion spot I would highly recommend. It is a sit down place, but you order at the counter and they'll give you a number where you can wait for your food. I wish I had pics of my food because The Simple Fare is so good! I got a pizzaccia that had potatoes and spiced onions. I heated it up in the toaster oven and it was -chef's kiss- I talked to the owner and he's so friendly. He told me that they've only opened up for a month and it's hard to find an Indian cafe so he wanted to make one of his own. He also told me that his wife designed the space which I really love because it's so minimalistic but feels like a cafe you'd find in the city. I would say this place is a bit easy to miss. It's located next to Parking Lot 5 and right behind Willow and Whisk. I would highly recommend checking this place out because from what I tried so far, it's so good! read more
