We were in the neighborhood on a Sunday morning and decided to give this Liv's a try. There was a line out the door, most of which was for the grab-and-go bakery area. Everything looked so delicious! We wanted to dine in and followed the signs to the seating area which was also bustling. We were seated across from each other at a long communal table, which is fine, but our neighbors seemed offput by having to move their coats and bags off the chairs. We were sitting so tightly together that I could barely shrug my jacket off without elbowing my neighbors. We waited and looked around for about 10 minutes. When no server approached us, we realized we needed to get up and order at the back counter. This was not made clear. Orange Juice for me (fresh squeezed - $12), iced coffee for him, the Spreads and Breads, and the Schnitzel Sandwich. We also split a small cinnamon bun. Our bill was nearly $80. Yowza. I will say that everything we ordered was good. We had things to do so we essentially ate and left. We were in and out in under 45 minutes. This is definitely a locals kind of place. We'll opt to grab-and-go if we are in the area again.

What a great place for meeting up w/ friends or doing work! The staff are so friendly, and I love that the high top counter offers a shady, open view of the street in front of the store. The servers are very attentive. Both times that I have done work at the counter, the server would take away my plate soon after I was done eating I have tried the chocolate rugelach and the chocolate chip cookie, and both are delicious. I've tried the matcha latte, and it's ok. The maple syrup latte is great and is now my go-to drink.

On of my favorite coffee shops in town . Everything here is amazing made with quality ingredients. Halva croissant had a creamy chocolate espresso sesame filling which was decadent . Butter croissant was flaky , but would have been better served warm . I love the vibe here with bright and sunny windows , making it a perfect way to spend a leisure morning enjoying coffee with the cookie they serve with it. I get refills of the coffee and sit back and soak in the aroma of their baked goods and the visual indulgence of people enjoying various treats from their menu . Overall i feel like a kid in a candy store when I visit Liv Breads. A slightly expensive store but worth it for an occasional indulgence .

Delicious matcha and gf df pastry. A beautiful cookie that comes with your drink. Lovely services. Hope they have more gf options in the future. Gorgeous presentation.

I can't believe this is kosher for Passover- most moist cake EVER! I believe it's candied orange on top

I can't believe this is my fourth review for Liv.. looks like I have been reviewing them for the last 6 years. I'm happy to say that I have not been disappointed! Their quality holds up over time. Most recently I got a pizza after school for my kiddos- we ate it up so fast I didn't get a chance to take a picture before it was half gone. The crust had great texture and bite.. the cheese and sauce perfect. The pizza is great value too, under $20 for a pie. We also sampled a tahini sable cookie- it was so good we bought a bag. Yes.. $14 is a little steep! I know. But they just melt in your mouth- they're so good. High marks for quality, it's generally pricey but in my book it's worth it. Thank you Liv for your consistency over the years- I hope people stop by for your pizza because it's so good! TIP: I ordered ahead on their website (takes 30 mins to make) and picked up the pizza after school.

Liv Breads has been on my list of places to try for a while since I've passed by it so many times and I'm so glad I finally got a chance to! It had way more to offer than I expected at a simple bakery, there were so many prepared baked goods for a quick grab and go and even a sit down area with table service. The even offered some samples at the to go counter. I enjoyed a mushroom and cheese croissant that was flaky and delicious. I was there on a late Friday morning and it was busy but the service was quick and the staff were so kind and welcoming! I would definitely return

First time visiting the restaurant side at Liv. There wasn't a line past 1230 on a Sunday so that's great. Generally I've enjoyed every beverage and pastry I had here. I generally do enjoy the bakery more than the restaurant. So was eager to eat at the restaurant. TLDR not a fan of the challah. We shared the chai latte that was poured in a big mug must have at least 10 oz. It is served with a delectable butter cookie. A delicate, buttery and melt-in-your-mouth throughout. First the star baked item. The $25 CHOCOLATE BABKA. I'd be willing to pay for again. Bring it home or bring it over for a gathering. The chocolate is like a wet gooey texture and it is consistent inside and out. You won't regret it. The restaurant has a self service chill water station. The mushroom and spinach omelette is super pricey for how small it was. It was served with sourdough slice, garlic chili oil , yogurt and some sort of oil green pepper dip? I believe it was $17? Unless they're using premium organic ingredients. The shakshouka is pricey too. Served with hummus and yogurt. Baguette and challah. I still highly recommend this place. Service is friendly and efficient.

Obsessed with LIV breads. Find myself here every week whether for a cup of coffee with a friend (which btw always comes with a little cookies included) or for a full blown brunch, or to grab my family favorite Babka. Here pictured is the liv breakfast that is just epic!

i LOVE liv breads! stopped by today to study and couldn't believe i hadn't written a review for the amount of times i've been here. i've definitely tried a lot on the menu: ranging from the chocolate graham babka to croissant omelette (pictured). the chocolate babka and chocolate chip cookie are definitely my two favorites items from this bakery. when i went to study today i got a coffee with almond milk (you get free refills if u stay instead of to-go!), croissant omelette, and chocolate chip cookie. the regular coffee is standard but i was only j going for the cheapest coffee since all i cared about was the caffeine. i love how every drink comes with a free little cookie. today was a ginger snap (delicious)! i have had other coffees from liv and i would say the others r much tastier but again i was just going for caffeine today. the croissant omelette was amazing. the croissant was perfectly toasted and the omelette was moist with delicious filling. the spread on the croissant was an amazing addition. the side of greens and tomatoes was great on the sandwich. overall, this is a cute space for studying or to meet some friends. you really can't go wrong with anything on this menu. my only qualm is the pricesmy cookie was 5.50 my sandwich was $14 and my coffee was $6. i will say the quality is great but i can't frequent here every day because of the pricing. there really isn't much service here except when you order at the counter. you clear your own plates.

I recently discovered Liv Breads and oh, I am so glad I did! For brunch I enjoyed the Shakshuka. I make it at home and it's a favorite. I ordered it many times at other restaurants and it was just meh. Here it was the perfect brunch entree. A vanilla latte was the perfect way to caffeinate my day. The chocolate graham babka is a Must! One of the best babka's I have ever had. I purchased two tins of the hamentashen. One for a gift and one to bring home. So, so good! Hamentashen can be dry but these were perfect. The chocolate chip cookies are also delicious. The staff was friendly and extremely attentive. A cozy warm atmosphere, delicious food, and baked goods. What else can you ask for?

Nice place to get fresh bread and good lunch items (quiche, paninis, cheesecake, etc.) They have all kinds of fresh danishes cooked in the oven next to the register. This place is always packed, making it a very popular spot in Millburn. I would be back again. Smell awesome in the stores, too. I didn't try the drinks, but I plan to next time I go. I recommend that anyone in Millburn check it out.

This place LIVes up to the hype! Sorry, no more puns, I promise. Everything from the space, to the bites to the coffee was incredible. The staff moved the line quickly and the team came around often to clear anything off of my table. My oat milk latte hit the spot on an afternoon when a little caffiene was very needed. I love when you can get your drink in a nice glass when you are staying, makes it justttt a little better. I also trying the rugelach, because I had never had one before and my Polish Jewish grandma was sending me signs to finally give it a go. Delicious!! Loved that it was so dense and packed with chocolate. It was so much more decadent than a croissant and I can't wait for another. I also gave their bread a try and it's definitely very good sourdough. If I lived closer, this would be in the rotation for the weekly loaf. I had a work meeting here and can confidently say, the space was perfect for it. The wifi was strong and it has a lot of seating, so we didn't feel like we were crowded or speaking too loudly. I would love to make this a regular in the work from home/cafe routine! Always happy to discover new cafes in the area! Happy to have finally tried Liv's.

What a cute gem. Proud to show this place off to visitors. Every item is yummy. Though I was a little skeptical at the more premium pricepoint, every item met expectations. The seedy bread has been a core breakfast treat. The almond croissant was rich and flaky. Usually when going to a bakery/pastry shop, I'm always bracing myself when it comes to their drink meny. But, the lattes were rich and smooth! Liv Breads has got it all!

First off: Service. I told the employee that this was my first time there, and they were more-than-happy to help me make a decision for my order. Patient and walked me through. Second: The Food. Let's get into it. 1) Cassava Latte ($7.50) - I was so pleasantly suprised at this drink; described as "(i)nspired by the Filipino dessert cake, made with condensed milk and coconut." The first sip, and I was intrigued! It was perfectly sweet, and the perfect mix of that coconut-dessert taste that cassava typically delivers! It tasted genuine, if that's possible. 2) Sinigang Croquette ($5.00) - This was interesting. Described as "Pork and Gabi (taro) shaped into a patty, rolled in Japanese bread crumbs, and deep fried. Served with our in-house sawsawan (dipping sauce)", it hit all the right notes. To be honest? $5.00 for 1 felt a bit steep. I'd pay $7.50 for two, though! 3) Boy Bawang Shio Pan ($7.50) - This was the most curious of all my purchases. Described as an "(i)n-house salt bread rolled in garlic and corn crumbs, filled with roasted garlic butter, topped with corn cheese whip. Inspired by the popular Filipino snack: Boy Bawang. THIS ITEM I SING ITS PRAISES. I am an absolute lover of the Boy Bawang Garlic Flavor Corn Snack --- much more pungent than anything Corn Nuts could ever offer. This Shio Pan absolutely delivered with its roasted garlic flavor! And as soon as you take a few bites ---- you get hit with that roasted garlic butter --- and let me tell you, they are not shy about their filling! Absolute master class --- but it's only for a limited run. You should definitely try! Third: Ambiance - The Cafe is quaint --- and has a seating area that could maybe fit between 18-24 people? It's just along the side of the business, but I managed to get a table for myself. Ayala, you did not disappoint! Can't wait to try your Sisig Flatbread for the next round!

I went with their house sauce, which has a slightly pickled chili vibe -- mildly sour, a bit spicy, and with a unique aroma that's hard to describe but really enjoyable. The fried chicken burger was also impressive -- definitely shows some skill in execution. One unexpected highlight was the cornbread. I usually don't enjoy cinnamon-flavored desserts, but this one grew on me quickly. The texture was excellent, and it ended up being a pleasant surprise. Service was great -- the staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and comfortable. Overall, a small spot but a really enjoyable visit. Would come back.

I recently dined in and outside of it being a bit cold for my liking, I enjoyed the experience. The staff is prepared for rushes and worked well through our Wednesday night visit. Which lended to an understanding of how much local MAPSO leans on this place. It was packed on a Wednesday night. All of that to say - my wife considers this one of the best chicken sandwiches she's ever had in her lifetime. I second, the salmon sando is my order and it's always fresh and perfectly cooked. Everything is is absolutely delicious. Never leave without a kale salad and a adobo.

If you are looking for a stress-free, high-energy, and absolutely delicious birthday party venue, look no further than Splurge Bakery in Millburn. We recently celebrated our child's birthday there, and I cannot rave about the experience enough! Why It Was a Huge Hit: The Vibe: From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was bright, welcoming, and perfectly set up for a group of excited kids. It's the kind of place that feels special as soon as you cross the threshold. The Activities: The staff are absolute pros at keeping a room full of children engaged. They led a fantastic cupcake and cookie decorating session that was the perfect mix of "organized" and "creative chaos." Every child felt like a master pastry chef. Stress-Free Hosting: This was the best part for me. The Splurge team handled everything from the setup to the cleanup. I actually got to sit back, take photos, and enjoy the moment instead of running around like a frantic party planner. The Verdict Splurge Bakery strikes that rare balance of being professional, whimsical, and delicious. The staff was incredibly patient with the kids and made the birthday child feel like the star of the show. If you want a party that your kids will be talking about for months (and a cleanup you don't have to deal with), book Splurge. It is worth every penny!
