Highly recommended if you want to try before you buy.

Jamie (sp?) was extremely knowledgable, asked me questions, measured my feet and explained exactly why I was having the issues I was having. I've been skiing for four years and every time I would get blisters on my right foot even when skiing short days. I was wearing mole skin patches and athletic tape on my feet. Jamie heated my boots, adjusted specific areas of my boot and explained why. She then instructed me to ski the next day and if I had any issues I should immediately ski in and they would make more adjustments on the spot without an appointment. AMAZINGLY my boots were forget and I've now skied three days in a row with zero blisters or sore spots on my feet. I had no idea this was possible! There are several places to rent skis and snowboards in and around Park City Mountain Resort…read more We ended up going here because one of the guys offered us a 20% discount. We had a group of five people renting skis, boots, and poles. When they aren't busy, you can get out of the shop within 20 minutes or so. The staff is friendly and eager to assist. You can change equipment anytime and they help you find the right equipment for your needs and skill level. After the first day of skiing, I changed to longer skis (went to 172cm). Then, after three days, I changed my boots because one was hurting my foot. I went to a more narrow boot. Each night, we stored our skis and poles at their shop. They give you a numbered blue plastic triangle to collect your equipment the next day. You only pay for the days you use the equipment. They have different levels of skis (Demo $38, Performance $26, and Sport $20). We opted for the Performance skis. Overall, an excellent little shop. They don't have much equipment to sell. It's mainly a rental shop. Xie Xie!

His low-pressure, authentic approach actually made us **more** inclined to purchase and, just as importantly, made us want to support Burton and the store. They have new gender neutral sizes apparently--at least that's what I fell for...the clerk said the…read moretight fitting Medium-sized sweatshirt was a new gender neutral sizing----the arms were pretty tight especially, which is odd for Burton because usually they run baggy on Medium sizes for men. Buuuutttt, this sweatshirt design was the last remaining hoodie that had a cool Park City emblem sewn into the sleeve...so I bought it. My wife has been trying to snake it from me, claiming it fits her better. But I'm putting my foot down and (mostly telling myself) that I have a gender neutral hoodie from Park City, and I love it. Great attitudes by the workers here....STAY AWAY from MAX SNOWBOARD SHOP IN THE PARK CITY SKI RESORT. These Burton folks are 1000% nicer and super helpful. Great job to this Burton Park City shop!!
