We just visited the office of Drs. Liao & Dr. Siao for a second opinion consulation. My husband and I went to a dentist in Las Vegas and she gave a treatment plan that will cost a fortune. We decided to look for a new dentist here in Dublin and found Dr. Liao who is very accomodating enough to take us and did exams on our teeth. She patiently explained what needs to be done, and they were less than the Vegas dentist scope of treatment. She spent time with us and we really admire her way of treating people like how she wants to be treated. Her staff are very courteous and love to talk to. Her office is very sanitary, have the state of the art equipment and very impressive. We couldn't be happier with the way they deal with patients. Dr. Liao is great. My dad abruptly chipped his tooth and Dr. Liao made time to see him the next day. Not only is she friendly and professional, but generous as well. I just had my first cleaning today with Dr. Janice Liao, and she's met and exceeded all my expectations. Dr. Liao personally cleaned my teeth, so she could get acquainted with my teeth and my gums. This attention to detail is consistent with the fierce commitment to patient care she's known for in the Tri-Valley. Her new dental office is also equipped with the latest and greatest technologies. The new patient intake process, for example, is surprisingly easy and painless, as I entered all my medical history via a computer, so i am assured that there will not be any transcription error. Not only was I able to watch TV during my teeth-cleaning, but I had on noise-cancelling headphones that they plugged into the TV to help block the high-pitched sound coming from the teeth-cleaning tool. The headphones didn't block all sound -- and I could still "feel" the noise -- but it certainly helped A LOT. read more

Bring your whole family in! Janice is very ginger with her tools for all the kiddies. Furthermore, she has the sweetest personality, you forget that her hands are all up in your mouth when you want to babble about how great your day will commence after the appointment. Don't get me wrong, she'll muscle through your plaque, tooth removal, drilling, fillingetc with the ease of a violinist stroking the bow along the strings of a Strativarian...cuz your teeth are just as priceless. And it doesn't stop there, cuz she has instruments that'll make NASA blush and a keen ability to employ those instruments as well as her senses in diagnosing, judging, and operating. There are no weak links- her hygienist navigates the crevices of your teeth like an archeologist exposes artifacts. And her admin puts you at ease while you wait and provides ample guidance through any administrative questions you may have. If candy can talk they'd sound like these 3 professional ladies. Her office is located right next to the 580/680 junction in sunny Dublin. If you live anywhere along 580 or 680, she is well worth at least a half hours drive from milpitas to martinez to hayward to tracy. Your smile is worth it ;) read more

My fiancee kids need to change dentist and I heard about Dublin Smiles Dentistry, www.dublinsmilesdentistry.com, from a couple of my friends and several of our neighbors. We needed to make an appointment for one of my fiancee kids for her teeth. With her school and basketball schedule, we could not take her and needed a late appointment. The office last appointment is 5PM, but the staff asked the doctor and was able to give us the 5:30PM appointment. The great this is, you don't even need an appointment if your teeth needs immediate attention. read more

I have been going to Janice Liao DMD for years and I have to say she is the best Dentist I have ever been to by far. She is very gentile and always makes sure you are comfortable. I have never enjoyed going to the dentist but Dr. Liao makes the experience a breeze! She is so warm and friendly, explains exactly what she's doing while she's doing it and really takes the nerves away. The office staff is helpful and accommodating. My family has 3 generations that go to Dublin Smiles. We love the work we get done. Always friendly staff, you can tell they like their job. Everyone is fast and efficient. You can receive text or email reminders for your upcoming appointments. I've never had to wait long at this dentist and if I am early I usually get seen a little early. Roxanne cleans my teeth, she is always very attentive to my needs. At one cleaning I had a very sensitive tooth due to my aggresive brushing (it's a hard habit to break), Dr. Janice Liao, filled it so the nerve (or something) wouldn't be exposed. Firstly, Dr. Liao and staff went out of their way, with short notice, to rearrange the appt for my 93 year old father with Alzheimer's, making it possible to take a wheelchair-lift shuttle from his assisted living facility. This gave me peace of mind now that I wouldn't be attempting to get him in and out of the car. Once at their office, each staff member whose path we crossed was sweet and present with my Dad. He perked up with the attention and care he received from Dr. Liao. Though the diagnosis wasn't welcome, Dr. Liao made her ideal treatment recommendation and communicated it with care and concern, to both of us. We recently left our last appointment (for my 6 year old and 4 year old) with such a feeling of gratitude for this dental office. I couldn't ask for more: they see both adults and children, check-in is done digitally on a tablet (not filling out paper forms is very ), the reception staff is always so courteous and pleasant, all the dental hygienists that we've had are so friendly and pleasant, and the husband and wife team are such kind and knowledgeable and flexible (not pushy at all) people! The husband teaches at the School of Dentistry at UOP (University of the Pacific) in Stockton once a week on Wednesdays (and also sees patients over there that day), so that gives me even more confidence in how up to date they are in their field. They decorate the office with tons of personal, meaningful decor (even a whole wall paying homage to Troy Aikman, with a framed jersey and a photo with him!) and you can tell they are just really fun people and that the entire staff enjoys working there. The facilities are really new and clean, and they have Netflix shows for children to choose from. The part my kids love the most is their prize system. They reward kids with metal tokens which they can use to choose toys from a "toy vending machine"--such a great idea! I've had a filling done last year and though I was dreading it, it went as well as it could have. The only drawback is that they've been getting super busy with more and more patients, so they are booked like 6 months in advanced--book early! I was a patient of Dr Shiao but due to a move I stopped visiting his office. However, recently during regular cleaning they discovered a broken crown. I called Dr Shiao's office since they were the ones who did the original work to ask about my options. They graciously invited me back to assess the crown. To my surprise Dr Shiao said "no problem" we'll take care of it and that is what they did ...at no charge! However that is not why I'm writing this review. I'm writing this review because of his attitude, Dr Shiao not only had a new crown made and installed it - he took extra care in making sure I was satisfied.
