The service and food is consistently great. Its location is cool - in the middle of the woods. It's comfortable and pretty inside. You're not squished together. The dining room is large and they have a party room they can open up. There's also a large bar on the other end of the building and a patio area. They usually have several specials on the chalk board. I usually get the 1/2 rack of ribs. They are FANTASTIC. Super tender and the sauce is great. I've also had their chicken wings - great! On our most recent trip (the last week and a half) - I had the ribeye special with the loaded baked potato and coleslaw. It was cooked perfectly and super tasty. I left a few toppings off my loaded potato - l had butter, bacon and grilled onions. It was fluffy and delish. They have a nice menu. You can ride your ATV or snow mobile right up to the building or your John Deere tractor (like a customer had when we were visiting ). Tons of Forest service roads/trails all around the area. The bathrooms are clean and accessible. Great food, great owner, great staff - hard working people wanting their customers to have a great experience.

We began the evening with whiskey old fashioned cocktails, which were made in the Wisconsin tradition and were good. They have different featured entrees every night they're open in addition to nightly specials. I opted for one of their nightly specials, which was coconut shrimp. The shrimp was ample with several large shrimp lightly coconut breaded and fried. They were delightful. For my side, I got the loaded baked potato (minus bacon) which was cheesy deliciousness. The service was prompt and friendly, though she did get a little bogged down when it came time to pay so we had to go find her (we were on a bit of a schedule with somewhere to be), If you're looking for ample portions at reasonable prices--this is your spot!

They brought a small pitcher of water (no more than 1.5L) for a table of 6. Water was room temperature & no ice at all. Waitress did write down one of our orders down incorrectly as cod instead of crab cake. His crab cakes didn't show up for another 20min. The poor part was that the waitress never came over at all during the 20min to give an update. Heck, didn't even come over to ask us anything or give us a refill on water. The owner of the restaurant came over but he was only asking how everything was. That was when we brought it up after 5min of the waitress being gone. The owner did give us a piece of carrot cake & was overly nice which is main reason this is a 3* & not a 2*. I usually am not harsh on reviews but the issue more was on the lack of communication between the waitress & our table. By the time he got his food, every single one of us was done or asking for a carry out box for their meal. While the owner was very nice, there obviously was a lack of communication between him & the waitress during the 20min wait bc even she was asking "can I get you something else?" not knowing the owner already had already given us some cake in a carry out container. I get Friday's are busy but don't put Crab Cakes on the menu (he got a side salad as the side so they didn't need any sides) if it takes 20min to make it or that nobody on a Friday night is ordering it at all that you can't skip an order. The side salad was very good and having mostly local beers on tap was a very nice touch. Can't wait to try their prime rib night the next time I'm here on a weekend.

Patsy's serves up some delicious eats and their patio? All blooming, shaded loveliness. The first thing to note is that if you're dining on the patio, you'll want to run inside and grab some menus. You'll order at the bar. For my dinner I ordered their patty melt served on marbled rye, which was everything a patty melt ought to be (so good!). For my side, I opted for the onion rings which were battered (I prefer this over breaded) and perfectly crispy. Zero complaints on the pub grubtastic food. I also ordered an whiskey old fashioned, which was prepared in the Wisconsin style and was great. The service was also lovely. When I was ordering, the gentleman in front of me explained that he had been coming here for 30 years and it's the same guy behind the bar--amazing. Also, I totally accidentally left my purse on the patio (I only had one drink--just a complete oopsie moment). I didn't realize until the next morning. When I called, they had it stashed behind the bar for me and I was even able to pick it up prior to their opening. Really, above-and-beyond lovely folks working here. Get to it!

My partner's Lake Superior Fish Tacos ($12) were also excellent, with the only regret that they weren't more of them. Finally, the service was excellent: we wanted to catch the sunset at the Cornucopia Beach and they rushed an order of trout out to us so we could make it. The combo of great food, excellent price and outstanding service make Fat Radish a definite must visit in Bayfield County.
