All the macarons tasted EXACTLY like the description wow. My favs were the strawberry crunch , injeolmi (rice cake) and tiramisu. The box also came with a super cute printed drawing of the macarons! It is a bit pricier for macarons so I ordered when they had 25% off their store for their 2nd anniversary because who doesn't love saving money! $35 is the regular price for the custom 9 box. Overall, 9/10 for taste, 11/10 for presentation and 7.5/10 for value. Would get again it was on sale. read more

Why are all the employees here so attractive!! And friendly too. Makes it next to impossible to come inside miserable because of the rain. My sister and I came here on route to adventures. We both got flat whites and they were amazing. Just the coffee concentrate to slap your cerebellum awake. The employee who made our coffee was super sweet and super nice. He was basically ready to head home and sleep the rain off. read more

Always has amazing flavors, fresh, easy to use delivery options. Really enjoyed the limited edition items based on holidays. The christmas one i got 2 days ahead of time for my mom and kept it in the fridge and she really enjoyed them and thought they were adorable and tasted amazing. The flavors are really unique. The macaroon has a larger component of filling similar to icing texture. Not for everyone if you prefer a more cookie based bite, but I really enjoyed it that way. My sister ordered the custom 5 box - Tiramisu, marshmallow hot chocolate, blueberry cheesecake, eggnog brûlée and milk chocolate. This was a Christmas present for me and I would highly recommend buying this for someone as it's a perfect gift. I liked all the five flavours but my absolute favourite were the milk chocolate and the blueberry cheesecake. The milk chocolate macron melted in my mouth and I could taste different kinds of chocolates (all of them were absolutely delicious). The blueberry cheesecake macron looked beautiful and tasted even better - It was different than what you would expect a typical macron to taste like and I would highly recommend trying this flavour! The marshmallow hot chocolate is their December only flavour and it had three different layers inside the chocolate coating. After trying the milk chocolate macron, I had high expectations from the tiramisu macron but it wasn't as good. There was nothing wrong with it but it just didn't meet my expectations. Lastly, the eggnog brûlée was my least favourite just because I am not a big eggnog fan! read more

The best macaroons I've had in Toronto. Super cute as gifts during the holidays or as an addon to a potluck!!! Love the variety of flavors it offers!! They has have a big version of the macaroons and it's so fluffy just like cake!! Highly recommended!! I would suggest getting both variety boxes to try, so you can taste all they have to offer!! On a side note, these are the best cus they are not too sweet like most macaroons. The sweetness is just perfect!! This cafe has the best macarons. Offers unique flavours and switches it up each month. They offer seasonal gift boxes for Valentines, Easter, Mother's Day, etc which makes a great gift. Their drinks also taste great. They offer a variety of dairy free options as well. Be on the look out for happy hour specials! What a cute cafe spot! Went during social distancing period & went for pickup of a box of macaroon and a latte. Staff was friendly and patient explaining my macaron options. I was so amazed by the esthetics of the macaroons - they were extra large in size because they have more filling but luckily it was not overly sweet which i enjoyed moreso then reg sweetness. I like the asian inspired flavours as well. What a great pick me up or a gift to give someone. I cant wait to go back and enjoy the full cafe experience read more

I've been here to study and hangout with friends and it's pretty good spot to do both! I had their matcha latte and their red velvet macaron and they were both really good. I would recommend checking out their macarons if you visit. I'm looking forward to going back to try more flavours. read more

Visited this coffee shop with a friend and I can definitely see why this place has nothing but positive reviews. The cafe had cute aesthetics and we really enjoyed the food and drinks. They specialize in korean macarons as well. They happen to my current obsession and the injeolmi flavour did not disappoint. The shell was slightly chewy as opposed to traditional macarons and I always enjoy the thick butter cream. This place would be great for studying or working and I'd definitely revisit to try more of their macaron flavours. read more

Great variety of options, unique flavours, big portions and good taste! I ordered the box of 9 macarons each with different flavours which also came with free delivery. However you can customize the box any way you want. I'd say my personal favourites were the matcha, earl grey and tiramisu. Considering the size, presentation and free delivery, it was worth the $30-40. Very aesthetically pleasing, however the delivery could've handled it with more care as 2 of our macarons were crushed. This would be a great gift idea for anyone on any occasion. read more

I ordered marcarons. some are the august flavours and some from the signature. The flavours were great, most of them are. Not too sweet. I also paired with coffee or tea. I got them delivered. They notified me by text when arriving in 10 mins. And within 10 mins, they were there. Great service. I look forward to sept flavours. read more

Great ambience with good lighting, free wifi and plenty of seating space. Perfect spot midtown to do work or to socialize with friends, for the IG bloggers to get their basic photos . Also a great spot to enjoy the weather in the summer in their patio. The barista even took the time to explain the background of the drinks they carry. I went with a couple friends and got their Matcha latte, mocha, flat white, cappuccino, peach shaker (only place in town to get!!), strawberry banana smoothie, drip coffee and cream of earl grey tea. They also carry single origin drip coffee! I would highly recommend the cream of earl grey tea and any espresso based drinks. With not many coffee shops around the area, this place is a must visit! read more

Such a great little new shop on Eglinton! Their Japanese style macarons are tasty, and I really enjoyed the blueberry cheesecake and strawberry crunch macarons. It's a nice twist on a classic dessert but if you're a purist, this might not be the place for you. I enjoy fusions in food so I enjoyed it regardless. The staff are all very pleasant and warm. They are very accommodating and kind. I always love places that are filled with kind staff - it makes you want to go back. I suggest ordering beforehand because when I arrived, there was a lineup for in-person orders. read more

This was my first visit and it's definitely not going to be my last!!! Grabbed a couple of macarons on the go over the weekend and they were amazing!! My fav was the earl grey (the injeolmi and raspberry were also very good!) which was sandwiched with a generous amount of buttercream with a subtle of tea flavour. Wow! The macrons and Korean style one called Dacquoise here is soooo goood. I recommend getting the latter as its very different and the flavors are just bursting. The service here is pretty good and they are very helpful in picking out flavors. Beware that closer to closing time they run out of the popular flavors. You can always pre-order from their website for pick-up. The macrons flavors change from month to month. So i'll list my favorite Dacquoise: Coffee Mocha, Strawberry Crunch. They do have monthly flavors so beware of that. Also they have combo mixes on their website you can pick and choose for a good assortment. If you go in their store to dine-in they have coffee and teas which go perfect with these sweet treats. I'd def come back again A+++ read more

I am a coffee lover which means that I tend to try coffee from multiple stores to decide on my fallback option on a rainy day. I purchased a capaccino and latte from social blend considering that it's close by. Here is what I think about then. 1. Wonderful hospitality. The people are awesome, no doubt about that. And they are thoughtful. So you feel very welcomed. 2. The quantity is good as well. 3. Unfortunately this point is about taste. And though they vouched that their latte and capaccino are the best sellers, I didn't find them good enough to spend an extra $1-$2 on per cup as compared to other coffee shops. All this being said, they are also famous for their macaroons which I haven't tried. So I would advise you to not take my review into consideration should you go shopping for those. read more

I've been to The Social Blend a few times and their 5-star quality is consistent. The way they meticulously craft their espresso based drinks is mesmerizing. You can tell the baristas really love what they do. I've tried their drip coffee, americanos, lattes, and matcha lattes. They're all very aromatic and flavourful. The coffee shop gives off a minimalistic, sophisticated, yet cozy atmosphere. You'll see students, freelancers, corporate employees, parents, travelers, etc. It welcomes everyone. Customer service seems like a no-brainer for The Social Blend. It would be difficult to consider going back to any coffee shop if their customer service was lacklustre as I believe it ties the entire experience altogether. The Social Blend greets everyone with a warm welcome and makes sure every guest leaves with an appreciation. read more

I was in the area and I decided to pick up a box of The Social Blend's macarons. I've heard a lot of glowing reviews through Instragram so I had very high expectations. I can easily say all my expectations were met with their perfectly baked macarons and the array of flavours offered! I have baked macarons in the past so I'm on the pickier side with these cute desserts, but they were done so well with limited air bubbles in the baking process. As for the flavors, there are so many good ones I don't know where to start lol. My top 3 would be Earl Grey, Blueberry Cheesecake and Raspberry Pastichio, but they were all so delicious. I highly recommend The Social Blend if you need that sweet pick-me-up, because they won't disappoint : ) read more

One of my favourite macaron spots in the GTA! Their flavours are always so fun and unique, plus the taste is always on point. Their packaging is perfect and displays the macarons perfectly. The prices are great since the filling of the macaron is twice the size of a normal French macaron. What's even better is they change the flavours every month and often have themed boxes to go along with whatever holiday is coming up. Love the social blend !! read more

These macarons are my favourite because they are creamy but not overly sweet like traditional macarons. Not only do they have their signature 9 flavours, they always have an additional 6 flavours rotating monthly. I have ordered 2 boxes of Christmas Theme macarons and 1 box of Dacquoise and expected delivery on Dec 23rd. By the time I went to bed at 10pm, there were no delivery. Well at 7:30am this morning, I found a soaking wet paper bag outside my door. Inside, all 3 boxes of macarons and dacquoise have water coming out like a waterfall. I really want to question the conscience of this business owner of how they conduct business. You didn't bother giving the customer a call telling what time you deliver. You sleepishly came late at night and left a paper bag with paper boxes sitting in the pouring rain. I purchased the Christmas Theme macarons as Christmas gifts and thanks to you, everything is ruined. This is absolutely the worst experience ever! read more

I always see Social Blend on Instagram and gave in. All their flavours are so innovative but the 5 I got were Maple Pecan, Orange Creamsicle, Melona, Chocolate Cheesecake, and Blueberry Cheesecake. All are June specials except the last. Each had a lot of cream and the macarons aren't as sweet as traditional ones. My parents enjoyed them as well. The Melona one was 10/10, tasted like the popsicle itself! Checking out online was a bit complicated but they are very responsive to email. read more

My first time trying Korean macarons, very similar to French macarons, the main difference is that the Korean macarons have more filling to them, like double if not triple the amount of French macaron. If you are a fan of French macaron, and love cream and prefer it less sweet then I highly recommend giving the Korean macarons a try. For me, I prefer the French macarons over the Korean macarons, as I am not a fan of the cream to cookie ratio, but I did enjoy that it wasn't as sweet. My favourite flavours are the matcha and the strawberry. I felt like I would have really enjoyed the coffee, had it been stronger in flavour but the flavour was so mild you could barely tell. read more

Been wanting to try their macarons for the longest time! Love that the Korean macarons are stuffed with such thick filling, but it's not overly sweet at all! Maybe that is why they are called "fatcarons"! Instead, the flavours are super strong! My three favourite ones are Strawberry Crunch, Matcha KitKat, and Tiramisu! The strawberry one was coated with dried strawberries, giving it the crunch! The tiramisu one was also delicious with a mascarpone and coffee filling! I definitely recommend trying their macarons! During COVID-19, their cafe is still open for take-out and they offer macaron delivery to various cities in the GTA. read more

These Macarons are soooo cute and I think the perfect gift to brighten up anyone's day even if they don't like Macarons! They are so cute and double layered buttercream makes them extra decadent! We were unable to break the frozen chunk or be able to mix it with the coffee and the coffee mixed with that frozen chunk submerged tasted really bad. Paying $16 for that wasn't worth it at all. The bingsu was good though. We got the mango bingsu bowl and it came loaded with mangoes and a marshmallow and an oreo cookie to make it look pretty! I don't think I'd come back to try anything else here. Was a little disappointed.

The staff were friendly and made the experience pleasant. Overall, even though it's not exactly my personal favorite flavor-wise, I can understand the hype. The service was incredible. They actually brought my drink over, which I wasn't expecting, and when we were done they came by with water and cleared our empty cups. Such a pleasant surprise!
