Honestly the first time I went it was an ok local spot to chill at, however the second and third time it got a little out of control girls were so drunk they passed out in the restroom and ambulance had to come. I don't understand why bartender or securities let these people get so out of hand this has to happen there should be a limit like at every bar/lounge. The security got in a fight with a drunk guy and spilled my friends drink without an apology of course. When she tried going to get another to explain the situation bartender told her no more alcohol could be sold because police had stopped it because of the ambulance incident. Never got an apology. Don't recommend this place at all!!!!! read more

Very nice lounge. Went for a concert, loved the ambiance. They had their own wine from a local vineyard, made me want to buy a bottle.

I never write reviews, but I had to write a review for this one. I didn't know what to expect when I came here for a random night out with friend close by my college. The place is kind of hidden, but when you walk in it's a really nice, cool little spot. I was pleasantly surprised with friendly staff, good music, and great vibes. I would never expect such a good time, and a place this great in this particular area. We will definitely be coming back again soon, and glad to have found a place to hangout close by my school. read more

SOL delivers the goods. It's weird because it's such a sleeper. You don't expect it to be so upscale on the inside. Then BAM! The decor is great to look at and the chairs just make you want to chill lounge and drink all night. Dj Marshall Barnes was playing here, WTF? Booked a booth for my birthday and have to say that 80% of my invites loved the places. The only whomp, Whomp is that we had to wait a whole our for the booth. But since we where twenty in our party we mingled and for a bit. The experience was GREAT, we danced, drank and had a good time. read more

I went to club sol recently for my friends birthday. One of the best experiences I've had. (5th time there) & the promoter Franky took well care of us. He made sure all my friends & I were having a good time. Music was good as well, pictures were taken & he told me when they were put up. I would def recommend him as a promoter! Thank you Franky!! My cousin and I went here yesterday. It was pretty empty for a Friday and a ten dollar cover. The people was predominantly Latino and everyone was full of energy and ready to party. The music was upbeat. The dj was not open to requests despite my asking three times. I am the type that goes to a party and makes it myself. That is just what I did too. This place is good for groups. It has a nice lounge feel. Three stars because the music could have been better. Playing YMCA over techno/house means I have to fake through the funk for a dance or two. Get a new DJ Sol Venue. I was tipsy and I got my groove in. So! Still a good time. read more

Last Saturday night at SOL was an amazing time! Great music, great crowd and I gave I gave it four out of five stars because of the seating arrangements. You can only sit down by the dance floor if you get a bottle which, c'mon give the girls a chance to sit down if they need to for a bit. Especially if we rocking the heels!!! We were happy to get in free before 11 (my girls and our hubby's) on Saturday. There was no line and it was not packed which we were happy about. I mean by the time it was midnight the crowd was just about right and it was not over crowded it was great. If you are looking for a good club, great music (hip hop and the new electro sound) great drinks (Bartenders were great!) and not over priced with an available dance floor then this is it!!! Me and my girls will definitely be going here a lot. Especially my besides are in Gardena which is close to her. We use to go to Hermosa beach but its way over crowded there and expensive. Oh and did I mention ladies that there isn't ever a line for the bathroom!!!! yea~!!! Oh and to top it off there was a hot dog guy right outside!!!! I'd heard of Sol Lounge through a regular who guaranteed I would have an amazing time there even though it's in Carson. Well I showed up with a group of 6 at 10:32 and didn't get charged a cover charge, however, we were interested in buying bottle service instead of individual drinks, but we were told the bottle service "special" ended at 10:30PM. I looked at the hostess as if she was crazy when I said "seriously it's 2 minutes passed". We went inside and were impressed by the decor. It definitely could pass for an upscale lounge in Hollywood. It has an open floor layout with several "bottle service" tables around the dance floor and sort of a stage where the DJ is and a couple of "go-go dancers" are strutting their stuff. There are also two tables on the stage for bottle service. Well we decided we were not going to pay Hollywood prices for individual drinks and were already out the door when one of the "partner owners" told us he would honor the bottle service price of $200 dollars. I asked my party if they would stay since I was the DD and coordinator for the night. They agreed it was a nice size crowd and not over-packed and I accepted the offer. What ensued was somewhat weird, we were escorted to our table but when we thought we were there, another party was sitting in the area and it got a little uncomfortable to stand around waiting for them to be moved. We waited for about 20 minutes and almost left when the table was "freed". The bottle we chose was Belvedere Vodka and it was the half liter size, not really worth the $236 with tax and gratuity fee we paid. it really didn't seem that we got a good deal especially because our Cranberry Juice, Orange juice, and Ice were never refilled by the staff. I thought Definitely poor customer service for bottle service guests. WE wouldn't do bottle service again but may return for happy hour or when we don't want to drive out of our way for a lounge. read more

Wow! Came here for my aunts birthday celebration tonight. This place is absolutely beautiful, I am absolutely booking my next birthday here. The staff is amazing- sooooo friendly and the bartenders are hilarious! They have jellyfish at the bar! You would not expect this to be in Carson but my lord when I walked in my jaw dropped. The sound system is amazing as well, no idea how this place would get a bad review! I suppose everyone can have an off day but I would give this place 12 stars if I could!!! read more

Was their last night the spot was dead arrived at 10:30 and they charged a cover of 10 per person... Disappointed! Dress code is not enforced you have people with flip flops,hoodies,caps etc.Drinks suck! This place was still empty by 12:30 I just catched a Lyft and called it a waste of night. read more

About a week ago my friend asked me to come with him to a new club in carson -__- My initial thought was what ? a club in carson ? so we arrive at Sol nightclub in carson off the 405 and i was shocked ! its in some back alley type of mini mall parking lot behind a midas ! There was no sign or anything all i saw was an empty parking lot , no lights and a bouncer. At first i refused to waste my time to walk in this "club" but i was talked into it. When i walked in I was ounce again Shocked its a nice place with nice decor for the area . BUT THAT WAS ALL the place was a joke nobody was in the club ! and the atmosphere was gloomy at best . There were some cholos and crazy ppl there not my scene. Hermosa is 10 mins away Hollywood 30 mins I wouldnt waste my time coming to this place again although they get an A for effort . If your looking for a real club experience this isnt the place i could see it as a lounge or bar but not a night club. And I see all the good reviews but i just had to repectfullly disagree. I needed a venue that would give me a club like vibe without going through the costly expense of hiring a night club completely ! My search led me to SOL ... I first spoke to one of the owners Brock who was very pleasant and sweet and invited me down to check out the venue . Don't let the location of the venue dissuade you ... the venue is located in Carson , in a strip mall ... upon arrival I was hesitant about my decision . The minute I walked into the venue I was pleasantly blown away !!! It was exactly what I was looking for ... they have a beautiful fully stocked bar , a great entryway where food can easily be set up and then you walk through the fine chain link curtain into the main room . Ample ample space to set up tables if you want to or I was given the option to use their existing furniture which are like club style lounge seating . Permanent DJ booth set up and a good size stage ... the whole entire space was mine to use as I wish !! We had a 70s disco themed party for my hubbys 50th surprise birthday ... I hired a cigar roller because the venue also has an outdoor patio that was also available for me to use ... it was the complete package !!! Brock is soooooo easy to work with and very very accommodating from start to end ... he has multiple services to offer you ... DJ , Banqueting (tables, chairs , linen etc) , even use of their in house photographer ( he was sooo good and took tons of great pics ) ... the venue is top notch !!! Clean , inviting and a fantastic place to party !! FYI the majority of my crowd was from Orange County and even they too were in awe of what a great venue SOL was !!! Go check it out for your next party and ask for Brock ! You won't regret it.... ! read more

i usually dont hang in the town i grew up in so it was weird to hear this popped up in Carson. It was a friday the LOVE and i ventured out with a couple of friends. It was a cool experience.from the parts i remember that is. Nice atmosphere i like the open dance floor cuz it doesnt really allow anyone to hide. friendly staff... and bartender was lovely cuz my drinks were lovely! i was glad to dance a few with the LOVE and enjoyed the Dj's taste in music. overall cool place to get your dance on and chill with your friends. read more

OMG!! I don't know where to begin. I just celebrated my 50th birthday party here and from start to finish it was simply amazing. He even checked in on me the next day. From the first day I met Brock his spirt was so warm and accommodating it was if we were family. He was great, the facility was great, and accommodations are second to none. Every question/concern I had Brock answered and lowered my stress level. Every time I wanted to come in, he made it happen. I can't say enough good things about Brock and the venue. Went this past Friday 4/17/15 and I was very disappointed. Paid $15 to walk inside a dark room with sticky floors and wack DJ. My shoes stuck to the floor and made it almost impossible to dance. DJ played mostly house music with 50% bubblegum pop music and 2% hip hop. DJ played 5 to 7 songs in a row that no one liked or danced to. The patio area was so crowded with smokers to the point that fumes floated inside the venue, patrons were dropping cigarette ashes from the air and spilling drinks all over people. The customer service was S$#&. Never will I travel to Carson to be so disappointed again. read more

A couple weeks ago my friends and I were in the area and decided to check out the club opening. Felli Fel was spinning and former laker Trevor Ariza was posted up in the VIP area. The music was bumping and I had a great time dancing. Tons of cute chicks and cool peeps. The staff was great (bartenders, waitresses, security, etc., all very nice) and the drinks were strong and cheap. They had to force me out at 2am! This was a better experience than most clubs I've visited. All in, I had low expectations based on location and how this place looked from the outside, and was blown away.
