Great service and the food was wonderful. Starts with an amazing cup of tomato soup and salad. Very pretty setting.

Ruby Sunshine ended up being one of those brunch spots that was worth planning around…read more We visited while spending the day on Franklin's square, and the wait list was about an hour. Normally that's enough to make me reconsider brunch, but after eating here, I'd happily do it again. We were seated outside on an incredibly hot day, and our server--lovingly known as "Slacker"--absolutely earned a shoutout. He somehow managed to keep our table of indecisive food-sharers organized, never let our water glasses get empty, and made the whole experience feel relaxed instead of rushed. The only disappointment? They had already run out of gravy, which meant no biscuits and gravy for us. (My heart still hasn't fully recovered.) Instead, we leaned into sharing everything else. The fried green tomatoes absolutely lived up to the hype, the OG Bennie was fantastic, the avocado toast was fresh and flavorful, and because apparently self-control wasn't invited to brunch, we finished with the white chocolate bread pudding pancakes for "dessert." No regrets. Great food, fantastic service, and a perfect stop while exploring downtown Franklin. Just do yourself one favor... Get there early if biscuits and gravy are calling your name.

There are lots of places here for breakfast and all good and all menus a little different from each other. Ruby Sunshine is located in the roundabout on Main Street in an elegant building with an upscale feel. Picking up on the Nashville Country vibe, you'll find a wall of red Cowboy boots; but all are right-footed! The service is friendly and attentive, your coffee won't go cold, and you won't go thirsty either. We had the Southern breakfast and the friend green tomatoes Betty (benedict) What is interesting about this place is, although a chain, everything is home cooked and tastes like it too--biscuits, grits, gravies, sauces! Enjoy!

As you enter you grab a menu and then you order and pay then you go find a seat inside or outside there is plenty of seating areas. Their orange juice & coffee and lattes are so delicious. I got their waffles and they were perfection. The BONUTS are to die for make sure you get an order to share. Everything we ordered was just delicious. Loved the vibes of the place and their bathrooms had a cool vibes love the wallpaper & the Dolly Parton themed bathroom as well. They had a lot of great merchandise like T shirts, sweaters, mugs and even more neat stuff to take home. If you have a big group they have open seating outside that can fit your group as well. Really awesome place for sure. They have different locations but this one was Spectacular!

We asked for recommendations and boy did we get it, we got a plain biscuit with the most delicious jam. Flakey, fluffy and layered so it's a good size. We order the Southern Benny with chronic bacon on top (best recommendation by the staff) instead of ham and a poached eggs. The gravy was phenomenal and flavorful and it's a plate lickin meal. Grab a Waffle and Berries if you want a little sweet but together you could share it all, which is what we did. I couldn't have picked a better place to try on the first day in Franklin. The staff was so sweet and the restaurant even had a coffee bar, upset I didn't order coffee but always next time!! Cute outside patio and the most adorable bathroom... Who doesn't love Dolly

Perenn - Croissant cinnamon roll. Probably the flakiest cinnamon roll I've ever eaten. Very good.

This spot is busy busy busy, and thankfully they have separate ordering lines for takeout and dine-in. My husband and I got two breakfast sandwiches to-go, with sides of breakfast potatoes. You can choose what meat you'd like on your sandwich, and we went with sausage. It's an upcharge to get your sandwich on a croissant, and then another upcharge to add on sauce or another topping. All in all, we spent more than $40 for two breakfast sandwiches and sides of potatoes. You get what you pay for ... everything was delicious! The croissant was warm and flaky, and the eggs on the sandwich are served souffle-style, which means they melted in with the croissant and cheese for an ooey-gooey bite. While there is open seating outside, we ended up eating in our car because the heat index was 100°. I'd absolutely return to Perenn, and would plan ahead with a reservation to dine in next time!
