This was a local spa day for me, but it's clear that they are catering to hotel guests. The locker room is very nice but is pretty tiny (15-20 lockers). It was very quiet when I went for my appointment. There were 2 vanities, a couple of bathroom & shower stalls, as well as a steam room. Across the hall is the quiet lounge where you can relax and wait for your service appointment. There was tea, water and light snacks in there as well. I got a massage and my therapist was excellent!!! Everyone who I encountered was very friendly. You also complete a form online prior to your arrival that covers all of the things that spas usually ask upon your arrival. read more

While hubby was in LA for business, I decided to have a self care day. I'm booked a massage at the Wilshire, this is my second time coming to the Wilshire and I wanted to experience the spa, and it definitely did not disappoint. I arrived right before my appointment, and was greeted with complementary champagne and a nice robe. I was directed to relax in the quiet room and wait for my masseuse to come get me. The dressing room area is quite nice. I took many photos. It has many amenities to freshen yourself up after your massage. There's a steam room that I wish I would have the time to take advantage of. My massage was great. I almost fell asleep before starting. I was asked how did I prefer and they definitely catered it to my liking. The great thing about booking a spa day is that you actually also get access to the pool area for the rest of the day so after my massage I chilled by the pool and enjoyed my day shopping on rodeo. read more

What can I say that hasn't already been said? This spa is the bees knees! Valet is a breeze and check-in is seamless. The hotel is gorgeous and the spa/pool area is by far my favorite part. I came here for a sports massage and had the pleasure of working with Jarvis with the magic hands. He is a master at his craft and I can't wait to go back. I had a glass of champagne while I waited for my massage so I as quite relaxed. They have a spectacular rainfall/full body shower that you can adjust to different settings along with different lights - it's like a club in the shower! The steam room is so neat, they have itty bitty lights that look like stars and a huge crystal in the room as well. It's too bad they are still closed due to Covid but you better believe that I'll be the first appointment as soon as they reopen. It's a tad more pricey than some places but worth every penny. If you want a day of relaxation, a nice pool to take a dip in and yummy food - look no more. I drive from Orange County just to come here...that's how good it is! Located on the 2nd floor of the Beverly Wing of Beverly Wilshire is an intimate, dimly lit spa separated by men and woman areas. Enter through the woman's locker room, to the left is a enclosed quiet room, also the waiting area prior to spa treatment. It took a few seconds for my eyes to adjust, its that dark, but the flickering light from the votives helped me make way to a comfortable chaise. The quiet lounge is equipped with hot tea and mini paper cones filled with varietal dried fruits and nuts. This is a great spot to zen! The locker room includes tranquil amenities. The wet area houses a unique steam room resembling stars twinkling in the night sky and ice shower with your choice of cold mist, Caribbean rain, or Atlantic storm features. Rinse off in the Swiss shower with L'Occatain, Verbena. Robe, Slippers, dental kit, and mouth wash is in the locker, all that is needed is you. The Argan Massage suited me best because it encompassed everything I wanted out of my treatment: zen for mind & body and soft, hydrated skin. The massage was listed on the Kahina organic menu, feels much like a Swedish massage because of the long fluid effleurage strokes. Argan oil is rich in vitamin E, leaving my skin suave, silky and radiant after a 60-minute rub down. For more leisure, just outside the spa sits the main pool deck with a gorgeous Mediterranean Pool, jacuzzi, cabanas and Pool Bar & Cafe, open 11:00am-4:00pm. Pool attendants are helpful & nearby, offering Evian Spritz and pool side food service. Had the most amazing spa experience EVER and I have been to nearly every spa in the Beverly Hills area. From the moment you walk into the Beverly Wilshire, the entire staff treats you like royalty! The concierges takes the time to personally walk you up there in stead of merely telling you where to go! The tranquility room and dressing areas are peaceful, cleaned frequently and have lots of yummy snacks, teas and infused waters. The staff new it was my birthday so took the extra step to have chocolate covered strawberries as well as champagne waiting for me! I had an amazing deep tissue massage! Jonnie really took the time to iron out all of my knots in my back. The Bali Flower facial is probably one of the best facials i have ever had in my entire life! It was extremely relaxing while also thorough in cleaning my skin! I will be back for sure and would highly recommend this spa to anyone! The steam room with sparkly lights on the ceiling was relaxing and comfortable, but overall the facilities were pretty limited. The locker room was somewhat small and aside from the steam room there weren't any other notable features. The staff was very friendly and my massage was decent, though my masseuse was a little late coming to get me. Not sure I'd go out of my way to return, but if I was ever staying here I'd certainly go again. read more

Beverly Wilshire with its lightly heated massage tables and quiet but impeccable service will go above and beyond your expectations. You won't even need to bring any toiletries, everything you could ever need except make-up is right there for you. I have been to some serious spas all around the world and the steam room here is absolutely the best. Not only is it huge but it also has some very cool lighting. The spa offers champagne and cocktails (for purchase) and each treatment room is very spacious. Although this spa was redone nearly 7 years ago, it still feels very new. She is gentle and kind and soothing and works every body part until you cannot feel any sort of pain whatsoever! This spa really does deserve 5 stars especially for the impeccable customer service. From the first moment I stepped in I felt like everyone was pleased to assist me in any way they can and it was clear that they cared about the customer's experience at the spa. I booked an hour-long facial and had access to the spa facilities (steam sauna, shower) as well as the pool and fitness center. Everything was of top-notch quality which made my day at the spa very relaxing. They even held my luggage for me as I went (window) shopping on Rodeo Drive (and that's not something all spas would do)! The pool area is very well kept with many lounge chairs and umbrellas if needed. There are also poolside staff that are there to assist you with anything you need. The spa facilities and lounge room are also of top quality. In many areas there are bottled water and towels for spa guests to use. Many might be thrown off by the price of the services but I assure you that you are getting supreme value for your dollar. If you are in need of a relaxing getaway at a spa, look no further. I am definitely returning here whenever I'm in L.A. again. I wanted to give some shout outs to the staff at the spa/pool area who made a good impression on my during my spa day. Dora, Assistant Spa Director, was an absolute delight to interact with all day and she is just a very genuine person. Had a relaxing day at the spa. From the minute I walked in, I was immediately impressed with the staff. Three attendants greeted us, one brought water infused with a hint of mint while we filled out the information sheet. The other talked about the amenities and access to the gym and pool areas and the third person gave us a tour of the spa. We started the morning with a cup of coffee poolside. A gentlemen who served us comp'd our coffee because he said it took a while to brew. Super nice guy. Afterwards, we worked out at the gym which was just remodeled. The gym is small with treadmills on first floor and a small area upstairs with machines and a yoga area. We followed our workout with a really nice lunch by the pool. The fish tacos were a 10 - probably the best ever! Every staff member was truly exceptional - friendly, nice and down-to-earth. The spa area was nice. The steam room had a nice ambiance with tiny lights that looked like the night's sky with stars. The jacuzzi was located outside by the pool. There's a relaxing lounge area inside the spa while you wait for your treatment with a nice assortment of Rishi teas, trail mix, chocolate and fruit. The nicest spread! Unfortunately, our massages were much to be desired. I was hoping that even though mine wasn't great, my husband's was better. We both felt that our massage therapists weren't a good match. I like very strong pressure, so it wasn't the pressure but my therapist would apply too much pressure over the bone, not the muscle and it was most uncomfortable. He was a bit awkward with his movements and as he was moving his arm his elbow lightly knocked me in the jaw. I really like that we had access to the pool and gym. The Valet was also complimentary. My rating of four start reflects the exceptional staff. The massages I would rate much lower. Not sure I would return for another treatment. read more

After spending an hour in the sun at their emasculate pool/lounge I got on of the most amazing deep tissue rub downs I've ever gotten followed by an hour in the 'tranquility room' where I sat in furry contented happiness and finally on to the star gazing steam room complete with shaved ice machine and amazon shower. Tried this spa because of other reviews and wasn't disappointed. The ambiance, products and personnel are impeccable. I love that they are holistic and even have acupuncture available. I wasn't sure which treatment to get, so I booked a Deep Pore Facial (90 min) and met with Donna. If you are in the same situation, I found out they offer free consultations. After analyzing my skin, we decided that wasn't best for me and switched to a basic facial with LED add-on. I really appreciate her telling me what would be best for my skin and not doing anything that would harm it. Donna is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I want to go back for more of her expertise. Also, I very much enjoyed the results of the LED, a natural, non-invasive treatment. My skin is calmer and clearer thanks to this spa, will be back! read more

Amazing. I had a massage with a male therapist (unfortunately I'm blanking in his name) who was amazing!! My back feels opened up, less tense, and I felt relaxed the whole time. Aside from the excellent service, this spa is nice bc you get a steam room, showers, etc (standard) but here pool access where you can have drinks and lunch. This makes for a really relaxing day. Pool service is attentive without being in your face. Food was delicious and fresh and drinks were strong. I usually go to Burke Williams and this is around the same price- it's great if you want to have a pool day plus spa. the beverly wilshire is a nostalgic spot for me i've had my share of eats, after (sometimes during) work drinks and holiday parties here the staff at the hotel are extremely sweet no pompous "bev hills" attitude here and although the hotel itself is a bit old i actually like the classic, homey feel of the place i hadn't checked out the spa here before so on my bday, after a morning of working out and shopping, i came by for a lazy spa day to treat myself to a massage unfortunately, i wasn't wowed the spa amenities are a bit sparse IMO and while my masseuse was very sweet (i opted for a male masseuse for what i hoped would be a stronger massage) my massage didn't feel like the deep tissue I had requested they give you access to the pool while you wait for your treatment but their pool is so dinky (heehee) you can't do much but wade around waist deep and there's zero view despite being on the roof of the hotel overall, an a-ok spot if you're staying at the hotel and want something convenient but i've definitely had better spa experiences elsewhere read more

Unbelievable experience! Since the moment I walked in with my girlfriends we were treated like queens. The massage was one of my top 3 massages I have ever had and the 2 other ladies I was with couldn't stop raving about there therapist as well. They are truly talented therapists who have something very special about them. As soon as we were out we were handed champagne personally by the lovely spa director and lounged in the relaxation area! You can't miss out on the pool and the food is even fabulous out there! Smelled divine and just really peaceful without being corny. - Treatment room had shower in room to rinse off after body scrub - Therapist was very nice and did a good job. For my personal taste, it was not the best massage I have had but my friend said her's was amazing.
