    Teas, spices, salt & sugars

We strolled out of the bookstore across the street looking for a sweet refreshing drink. We spotted The Spice & Tea Exchange & immediately went inside. It's a pretty shop, filled to the brim with an array of tea leaves to make yourself a cozy hot tea or a refreshing iced tea. They carry all sorts of salts, all kinds of peppers, a variety of spices and an assortment of sugars. I bought hibiscus sugar, it is amazing with hibiscus tea or an agua fresca. They carry herbs to make dipping oil, it is delicious. We selected a pomegranate rasberry loose leaf and they steeped it and poured ice over it and it was the perfect refreshment for a hot day. They carry tea accessories such as tea pots, mugs, special bent spoons, infusers, matcha kits, tea thermometers and resusable cups with their logos. We were treated well, and encouraged to take our time perusing.

I'm obsessed with herbs and tea, so this shop is right up my alley. I love the apothecary vibe, with all the herbs displayed in jars--it's great to be able to easily open them and smell the different scents. The huge variety and their limited flavors always allow me to find something new to take home. One of my favorites is the lavender lemonade, so when they have it available, I make sure to get some in a to-go cup and a pack for home. The staff is always very helpful and offers great suggestions. After visiting this shop, I love to head across the street to Writer's Block Bookstore; it gives me everything I need for a cozy evening at home.

Now... this is my first time at this location and I did not expect it to be such a beautiful spot. I am not a tea connoisseur, but this made me want to buy all the Tea blends. The guy that was creating tea blends and steeping to make actual drinks was very knowledgeable with the information. I asked him a few questions about what he was creating, and the knowledge was impeccable. My daughter decided to purchase a few things in preparation of trying one of their recipes. I will definitely head back to this location.

The tea bar area. Enjoyed a lavender lemonade iced tea while shopping ($5.50) Amazing!

My latest visit was much better as I was greeted by Stephanie. She assisted me so that I could get my specific spices quickly. As I was waiting in line, she asked if I would care for some iced tea. I told her I wasn't a fan of iced tea, but she suggested I try a small sample of their Lavender Lemonade iced tea. It was amazing! After the tasting, I purchased a glass ($5.50). I liked the fact that it didn't even taste like iced tea. She also recommended I try a sample of the Black Truffle Garlic seasoning (that was in an oil base) with a chunk of bread. It had a nice zing to it. What an enjoyable visit. Keep up the good work!

I could stay in here all day just soaking in the aromas and exploring the unique selection of spices and products. If you love experimenting with new flavors or need a little culinary inspiration, this place is a must-visit. Tea lovers will be especially thrilled--there's a wide variety of loose-leaf teas and accessories to browse. The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, answering all of my family's questions and teaching us about so many products. I absolutely love it here!! They have tea for sale in the back. Try the samples and smell everything lol dont go if you are in a rush. You'll be kicking yourself later for not looking at just one more thing

All the spices and teassss What I stumbled on this place with a friend as we were wandering downtown wg. It was very nicely decorated and done. There are ALOT of teas available and a lot of spices. It was sensory overload! I was able to get tea (hot or cold) with ANY of the teas that they has. I got the strawberry meadow green tea. They brew it on the spot for you and add sweetening if you need. Environment It was pretty nice, it is a storefront and you can buy tea but it is all to go, there are no seating available. Niceness of the staff Very friendly staff as you wander the store to select the tea you want to brew up Dollar it was 4.5$ a cup Yes I would for the nights I need a drink while walking around.

The Spice and Tea exchange is a great shop to visit when you're exploring Disney Springs at Walt Disney World. If you want some loose lea teas, they have tons here. You can have them brew a cup of any of these teas at their tea counter. If it's a cold winter day, then it's pretty nice! My hidden gem from this spot is their Berbere spice blend, so that you can dupe the popular African street corn that you can get at Animal Kingdom Theme Park! Mix the spices with some butter and corn and you get something that resembles the iconic dish! Looks like they have a website so that I can order some more when I finish this stash!

I was so pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem! My husband and I were a little early for our dinner reservation, so we were trying to kill some time and wandered into this shop because of the name. The store smelled so great and the staff was so kind. We were greeted the minute we walked in and the girl who worked there talked us through the different spices and products offered. We decided to get an iced tea in the little tea spot towards the back of the store, and loved it. They were also serving samples of the different spices on different food items, like cucumber and bread. It's a whole experience. Definitely try it!

This spice and tea shop is such a gem! From the unique creations you can enjoy just by changing up a few ingredients to the wonderful variety of teas, everything feels thoughtfully crafted. The cozy and welcoming ambience, along with the friendly staff who greet you the moment you walk in and give you references, make it extra special. Definitely my go to spot for tea, spices, and a comforting atmosphere all year round.

If i could give this place a 6 star review i would. I love cooking so the name caught my eye and decided to go in. When you walk in you get hit with such a pleasant aroma from the spices and teas. The staff is so friendly, the entire experience felt like you're a VIP. We got to try a few blends with olive oil and bread, their monk fruit sweetener (the salted caramel one is my favorite 10/10) and the tea on tap. The variety of tea and spice blends is extensive, literally for every dish you can imagine.

Tea Time! Happening to be walking on Park Ave in Winter Park and found this store and decided to walk in. Found a great variety of teas and spices also they have a tea bar where you can make you own tea with any flavor you want. The lady at the store was so nice and very knowledgeable of each tea and it benefits. As you walk in you can feel a calm atmosphere.

What an amazing experience! Tucked away on Park Ave in Winter Park, I stumbled on this tea store leaving Briarpatch. Stephanie was so amazing. She explained the different tires of teas, diffusers, and specials they featured in the store. I absolutely love tea so this was a plus for me. The store was quiet, not noisy at all. They also offer the option to try my trees in the store for a nominal fee. I ended up trying the tea of the month and purchasing 2 teas off of their recommendation.

The spice and tea exchange is amazing. Spices are packaged in house and you can smell everything in the store. The Florida sunshine spice blend smells delicious and is a great addition to any household. They have gifts like candles, pins, tea pots ect that any tea lover would enjoy. Cold or hot tea is available for purchase too. The sales associates are knowledgeable and friendly. You could get lost in here for a few hours smelling all the amazing products. If you're a cook...check this place out!

This trip, though, there was absolutely no Disney involved -- and we finally stopped here on our way home Sunday morning. I feel like you know you're getting older when you get excited about grocery shopping. Normally when I go to Publix, I'm irritated before I even get inside. But this place? A completely different experience. Walking through and seeing all the locally grown vegetables and the meat selection -- clearly labeled as hormone-free and without all the extra junk you get at typical grocery stores -- was honestly mind-blowing. The prices were so reasonable I couldn't believe it. I purposely brought a cooler for the two-hour drive home, and even with everything I bought, I didn't spend over $100. If I had purchased the same items at Publix, I'm convinced I would've been close to (or over) $200. Beyond the prices, the quality and overall vibe made it so enjoyable. You're not breaking the bank feeding your family, and you feel good knowing you're getting better-quality food. The staff was incredibly sweet and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. I was looking for boneless chicken, and one of the employees asked if that's what I needed. A few minutes later, he came back with multiple packs in his hands to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and I really appreciated it. One thing to know: the produce and meat sections are in two separate, unconnected rooms, so you check out separately in each. And if you're still riding that high from all the money you saved, there's soft-serve ice cream outside with seating -- which just makes the experience even better. For someone who truly despises grocery shopping, this was actually fun. I will absolutely make a special trip to Orlando just to come back here -- and next time, I'm bringing a bigger cooler.

They were running a special that allowed us to try several menu items, and most of them were fantastic. The burrata and pasta dishes were standouts. I especially loved the truffle ravioli, purple gnocchi, and lasagna. The mushroom pasta was just okay for me--the pasta itself was thicker than I prefer and a bit too al dente. The desserts were incredible. We tried both the tiramisu and the limoncello cake, and they were easily some of the highlights of the meal. My only complaint from that visit was the coffee service. I was charged extra to make my coffee decaf, which surprised me, and when I asked for cream, I was told they only had steamed milk--which was also an upcharge. It felt like a lot of added cost and complication just to get a simple decaf coffee with cream and sugar, something that's typically included at most restaurants. Second Visit: After a hot day by the pool, I ordered their lemon drink, and it was absolutely delicious--refreshing enough that I'm already trying to figure out how to recreate it for an upcoming bachelorette weekend. I ordered the purple gnocchi again, and it was just as excellent as I remembered. My husband had the lamb, and I ordered the Beef Wellington. The lamb was delicious, though some of the pasta served alongside it was undercooked in a few bites. The Beef Wellington was the biggest disappointment of the evening. The filet itself was cooked perfectly, but the pastry lacked the rich flavor and depth that make a classic Wellington so memorable. We were seated in the back hallway section of the restaurant, which could use a little attention aesthetically. Some updated decor, wallpaper, artwork, or softer window treatments would go a long way. The rest of the restaurant has a lovely ambiance, but this area felt overlooked. Combined with a server who wasn't particularly attentive and the physical distance from the main dining area, it made the experience feel less special than you'd hope for during an expensive date night. We also ordered the same dessert we'd had on our first visit and noticed the portion size was significantly smaller. Lastly, I ordered a Caesar salad and was surprised to find what tasted like bottled dressing and boxed croutons. At a restaurant that clearly puts care into making its own pasta, those details stood out in a disappointing way. Orlando has no shortage of excellent Italian restaurants, and it's often the small touches that separate a good meal from a truly memorable one. Overall, there is a lot to like here. Some dishes are genuinely outstanding, and there are menu items I'd happily return for. But when you're spending hundreds of dollars on a meal, consistency matters--from the ingredients and preparation to the atmosphere and service. Luxury is often found in the details, and tightening up those details would elevate the experience considerably.
