Worst Experience ever. Where do I begin,.. - called for a quote to make a last minute appointment. Was under quoted and paid more than double the quote given. - I had 3 nail techs work on my nails that day. I was there for 6** hours. -pedicure nail tech put my feet in room temp water, got the color wrong and I had to ask if they would scrub my feet where she then swiped my heels twice. That's all. I pointed out the color was wrong and the nail was filed at an angle and it stayed that way unfixed. - first nail techs working on my gel x manicure put the extensions on crooked and had to remove some to redo them. Still put them on crooked the second time and told me she wouldn't have time to paint them all and do the art as the shop were closing in an hour and she had to leave right at 7. Nails are very far from cuticle and my cities were destroyed. I then had to wait for the 2nd manicure tech to finish my manicure. -second nail techs working on my manicure was amazing and tied her best to make my appointment enjoyable and make my nails look as good as they can with the crooked extensions and cut cuticles. Nails are still crooked and they look like I've had them on for weeks / already look grown out. Mind you I've had them on for 4 days. I reached out to the owner and she was very rude. She said she needed to investigate where she talked to everyone in the salon and got back to me via text. They offered me a $30 *courtesy credit towards my next visit and that's all. I paid $300 including all tips and they will not make it right but instead blame me; stating the extended time of my appointment was me being late. I was not late. Had an appointment at 4 and called an hour ahead to change it to 5. Also tried to stats the incorrect quote was something they would not have done. But I made the appointment based on the quote. Tried to argue but the owner stopped replying to me all together even after I sent her photos of my nails. Also missed my date that night dude to the service issues and time. :/ The whole reason I went to get my nails done to begin with. Do not go here. read more

Cons: -You will most likely have to park in the parking structure and you will have to pay for parking since you will be here more than the free 60 minutes. -Salon does not offer anything other than water. -My pedicure was the most basic one (35$) I added gel and that was an extra 25$. So total $60. Price was high compared to other nail salons I have been to. -The basic massage comes with a "light massage". The lady just put lotion on my feet for less than a minute. Was definitely not close to a massage. -Lastly, the lady that did my pedicure hurt me 3 times with the tool they use. Pros: Final product was good. They accommodate a walk-in on a weekday. read more

Finally snuck out for a girl's night and we decided to get our toes done before Mother's Day. We made appointments weeks beforehand, which was truthfully a little frustrating on the website - it just wouldn't save my options for the second person. I tried several times until it finally went through over the course of two days. But I was determined (and all our other plans were on this plaza, so it had to be done). Very friendly welcome. Automatically started browsing colors and got some help narrowing down what to get. I wanted something outside of my usual beige/natural/french tip life, so we went for a sparkly blue. Had a great conversation with my nail tech that didn't end when my friend joined for her appointment. Overall very good vibes throughout the whole experience. Prices were very reasonable for the basic service and I walked away very happy. My polish did chip about 1.5 weeks later, but it was sparkly and not gel, so not too miffed about it. I came here for the first time on Sunday as a lot of other salons are closed on sundays. They were able to fit me in last minute. I do recommend making an appointment if you can. The place is very nice and clean. They do not have massage chairs which is a bummer. I got a chrome gel mani and a regular pedicure, and they had two people working on me so that was nice. It was nice chatting with both ladies. Unfortunately my chrome gel manicure started chipping the next day, but this salon offers a 3 day grace period for them to fix any issues for free. I came in on Wednesday and Anna removed the original gel and redid them completely. They look even better and are holding up well. She said the black under the chrome on my first manicure hadn't cured fully because it may have been painted on too thick by the other technician. Anna seemed very knowledgeable and was really sweet. Thierry did my pedicure and did a great job. I'll definitely come back to have them do my nails again. read more

Wonderful first-time experience at Nail Garden! I got a Russian gel manicure with Julieta and a garden gel pedicure with Maryam--and both were amazing. Julieta was incredibly detailed and clearly very experienced. She was also so kind and sweet, which made the whole experience even better. Maryam was just as great--very attentive, kind, and gave an amazing foot massage. I stepped out of my usual neutral shades and tried color #69, a soft pastel yellow, and I'm honestly obsessed with how it turned out. Highly recommend both Julieta and Maryam. I see Liana for my gel manicures and am consistently so happy every time she does my nails. She is very mindful of meticulously grooming my cuticles and then beautifully applying gel. I have extremely thin nails and am sensitive to pain -- I can honestly say she thoughtfully makes it so they have strength to them and so my nails don't flop around afterward. She makes them strong! Her work is beautiful and she always helps me figure out which colors to do or if I want to do cats eye or chrome for special occasions. I cannot recommend this location or Liana enough. read more

Responded to their feedback email but never got a response. I did not have a good experience and it felt rushed. When the nail tech finished my pedicure she didn't communicate that I was done, simply handed me the paper ticket, laughed and took her supplies and walked away. Never communicated on any feedback or checked in with me if I was happy with the work. Parts of my nails have uneven filing and polish. I sat there for more than 10 minutes assuming she would come back and offer those little thin disposable sandles or to even check and communicate that I was set to check out , neither happened I had to ask the lady at the front as she was walking by if I could please have or if they offered those disposable sandles, she never came back with them. I awkwardly got up and walked up asking if I could check out. She asked about my experience to which I stated the nail tech basically disappeared and I didn't know where she went to which the cashier just stared at me awkwardly.... I paid and asked if she could pass along the cash tip I had since the nail tech disappeared. Even after trying to be the bigger person after being ignored for simply paying for a service. I understand we have bad days, but don't understand the lack in basic communication after a service that I'm paying for. Honestly don't see myself returning. I booked the pedicure to try to have a relaxing spa day for myself after a bad day just to get treated like a burden. Please communicate to employees that checking in with a client at the end of a paid service goes a long way. The lady next to me working on another client ..was much more attentive and nicer than the person that attended me. In addition I didn't receive a top coat. 3-4 days and my polish is already chipping off. Wow, first time AND definitely my last time. The place looks cute, but honestly, only one of the front desk ladies showed any sort of hospitality (aka just taking me to my seat lol). The nail techs--and even some customers--all looked depressed. It was giving depressing... I came in to get my gel X removed, and never in my life has a salon allowed me to walk out like this for $20. I could've done this at home if I knew this was going to be the service. The very quiet place I really liked the result of my manicure done by Alex and pedicure too.

The first time I went here I gave them a bad review and the manager asked me to remove it. That was maybe 4 yrs ago. My friend wanted to go so I went we had an appointment. They took her right away had me waiting 30 mins and no one has even asked if I wanted water or anything. We're two different ethnicities I'll let you figure out which one of us had to wait. I didn't even want the service anymore they gave no apology or nothing just "are you sure". Honestly I would give them 0 stars this is the second time I live a walk away from here and still would never give them my business. For the response you gave.: yes u was there and management called me and asked if I could remove it and gave a discount or something. Second my appointment was at 7pm. I called to see if I could come at 715 and they said no it's too tight on time. So I wanted 25mins for a scheduled appointment?! And I know you'll say whatever you have to but no apology was offered all you guys said was "are you sure?" That being said I advise anyone to not waste their time with this place and I will happily await the day your "closed for business" sign goes on that door because you shouldn't treat anyone like that. I would not recommend going to a technician named Lily if you are expecting more than the bare minimum from a pedicure service. I have visited Nail Garden at NoHo West several times, but this was one of the worst experiences I have had there. I am always polite and respectful to the staff, and I tend to be on the quieter side rather than someone who complains. However, this experience was disappointing enough that I felt it needed to be addressed. The technician who performed my pedicure was not very friendly or welcoming. During the service, she drilled quite aggressively around my skin. While she did trim my toenails, she did not properly clean them afterward. She also forgot to apply lotion. When she realized she had forgotten, my sandals were already back on, yet she still applied lotion over them and barely rubbed it in. Literally slapped it on there. The lotion ended up all over my sandals. The polish application was also poorly done. The polish was uneven and did not fully cover my toes. Another concern was that a technician working next to me told a client that she had a fungal infection. This raised concerns for me about whether tools are properly cleaned and disinfected between clients. I normally do not write reviews, but I am standing up for myself and I believe the owner or management of Nail Garden at NoHo West should be aware that some employees need to provide better service. I did inform the front desk associate when she asked me if everything was okay. She was very kind and offered me a 10% discount on the pedicure. I appreciated the gesture, but I am still disappointed with my experience. The front desk associate offered to have Lily redo the pedicure, but I politely declined. At that point I was uncomfortable and preferred to leave rather than have the same technician work on my pedicure. I ultimately had to go to straight to another nail salon to have my pedicure redone because I could not stand looking at my toes. read more

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at Nail Garden. I've been a returning client and have spent hundreds of dollars here in the past, but this visit completely changed my view today. Upon entering with my two babies (as I have many times before), I was immediately met with a different, unwelcoming energy from the owner. I was told they were busy and couldn't accommodate children "as usual," yet I was still seated and so were they but this time felt a lot different. I asked for a very simple nail design--tiny hearts on two fingers per hand. I was told it couldn't be done because I hadn't made an appointment specifically stating a design request. The entire experience made me feel uncomfortable and like I was an inconvenience. When I expressed that the energy felt off and that I couldn't wait to leave, the situation escalated. I was told by the owner I had offended the technician and that she refused to continue my manicure. I left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. After spending over $500 on my last visit alone, I will absolutely be taking my business elsewhere going forward. read more

Of course I would finalky check out this nail salon, right before I move out of LA. Pros: setting an appointment was incredibly easy. I called when they opened around 9am for an afternoon appointment for removal of gel on my hands and feet and then a regular manicure and gel pedicure. I did book on aweekday, so that may be why I got the time I requested. When I arrived, I immediately got seated. My pedicure went amazing, she was gentle and took her time removing my gel. It was relaxing and I enjoyed it. Cons: so I'm not sure if this is the salons policy or just the specific woman who did my gel removal. She didnt soak my nails AT ALL, just straight filing off the gel. Needless to say, it was pretty painful. I'm taking a break from gel, but soaking off will always be the best option. Overall, loved the vibe, my pedicure was nice. I would just request a different person for my manicure. Also, another plus is they had a TON of different color options. read more
