They also offer a wide selection of gluten free and regular baked goods, along with bread and other items (fresh pizza, and packaged goods). So easy to access, right off the highway. There was a very diverse line up of customers when we arrived 10 min prior to opening; now that you don't see very often for a bakery/store! Fabulous selection of baked goods, plant based deliciousness, some gluten free. The store area was as impressive so many specialty items, great prices and fabulous selection. Got the grilled veggie pesto panini $11(?) The veggies were grilled very well. I would have preferred if there was more cheese. I didn't taste the pesto very much, but overall it was a tasty sandwich and I didn't realize it came with a small bag of plain hardbite chips which was a nice side for this sandwich. Great taste chewy base and just enough spice in it. I would have added thinly sliced jalepeno . The Panini Pesto was also given an 8/10. Great grilled vegetable. However in my lone opinion they could have added a bit more pesto. I would not have paid $11 for it. More like $8. We also had the Chai. It is good. Tasted like Chai from India. The Vegan S'mores cookie got a 9/10 from a diary loving reviewer. Soft tender and delicious. Nothing. Vegan about it, she said. The brownie got a 7/10. I guess the cookie won her over and the brownie did not get a chance to "bloom" on her taste buds. 3 of us spent $39.65 on the above lunch. Was a beautiful day. Contented and happy. read more

Prices are comparable and it was nice to see the huge selection. Think every flour option, non dairy cheeses, meats, pastas, frozen, local! You name it, they have it! Sprouted oven offers a huge variety of vegan plant based products. It's everything that your able to find at your typical local grocery store, but more. They have frozen, prepackaged, canned and baking goods that are all vegan that are local and outsourced. They also offer vegan baked goods like fresh bread, sweets, sandwiches and to go snacks and lunches. Additionally they do offer a small selection of GF options within their sweets department. I tried their sandwich and it was great! I had it with the added "deli meat", and it was super filling and made with care. It came with the choice of a side of chips or an apple. They also have items within bulk The only down fall that I have had is with some of the prices. At times the prices will be more than a grocery store and this can be disappointing. Other than that this is a great place to find vegan items. Some are gluten free but not all. read more

I love this place. Its a cute place and the kitchen is amazing at what they do! I am addicted to their Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. They're grandma's bread/Monkey bread treats are delicious, very sweet, but very delicious. Many of their bakes goods and lunch options are incredible, my only issue is I do find the prices to be quite expensive. I have been wanting to check this place out. It has a cafe and small grocery section with lots of neat vegan products. We stopped in for a snack. I had the monkey bread which was so good. Soft, fluffy, and moist dough, great flavour, such a treat! I also tried one of their superfood lattes - I had the blue mint latte, iced with coconut milk and it was very tasty, creamy mint tasting, not too sweet. They also use 100% recyclable and compostable cups and straws which is great! I found a new line of all natural, cruelty free products called k'pure out of mission, BC and am excited to try their overachiever body balm. They had some nice aromatherapy essential oil sprays as well. Would definitely recommend checking out to find some unique, healthy, plant based grocery items as well as trying a treat at the cafe! Since the pandemic hit, they've rolled out with same day curb side pick up, and they've done all that they can to keep everyone safe, which is so appreciated. I've ordered take out via DoorDash and by calling them directly. During peak hours, it may be difficult to get through the phone, so I'd recommend ordering from DoorDash in those scenarios. The Buffalo Chick'n is my go to and it's always so brilliantly made. The perfect ratio of sauce to topping and mozzarella cheese If you're looking for something quick and classic, you can never go wrong with their grilled cheese or veggie sandwich. Their soup of the day is always delicious too! Their pastries go fast, so be sure to drop by early to get what you want, or call in advance to request for it to be put aside. I came here because I like their affordable products. Got a loaf of bread and went to pay for it. A guy at the till named Adison looked so unimpressed and unfriendly. I asked for one of their caramel bars, and he stared at me blankly. He got 2 bars instead of just 1 bar that I ordered. I didn't argue because I thought 2 is fine and more people at home can have it. After paying, I said, "Have a nice day.", to which he replied "Oh I will." in a very sarcastic tone. I honestly do not understand how I deserved this treatment from a guy who made me feel like I'm not even a human. I'm still going to come back, but I hope you treat your customers better. read more

I'm in love with this place! I live that there is a place I can go and get all my plant based foods, sprouted grains and other products that are sometimes harder to find. They had different types of flours, discounted bread and even vegan marshmallows (bye gelatin). Omg I love this place. I came here last Monday after my visit to Happy Herd Sanctuary. They have a wide selection of pastries and their scones are to DIE for. It's so hard to find a vegan bakery and this one is absolutely fantastic. I'm just sad that it's so far for me. We ordered the burger and the cream cheese bagel. Also took some scones to go. Everything was absolutely wonderful. Better than any other vegan pastries I've had. I also had Adison help me and he was absolutely pleasant with great eye contact. A God sent place for Vegans in Abbotsford. OMG!!! I love everything there. I have yet to be disappointed with anything I've bought from them. Super delicious! You can dine in. Although think cafe more than restaurant. And order something to go too. You'll be glad you did. There's also tonnes of vegan groceries and healthy food supplies to take home and whip up your own delicious meals. I live in Vancouver. But it's close by the highway and is now a must stop location for me anytime I'm passing by. It also makes visiting Abbotsford that much more pleasant. Go there on an empty stomach and enjoy. I absolute adore everything about SO. The staff are amazing, so friendly and knowledgeable about their products. The atmosphere is calm and chill. The food selection is fabulous and super fresh, and as a celiac I can eat there without a single worry: they have a separate kitchen for us folks. My Mom also has to be sugar conscious, and they have that covered too! I have yet to eat anything there that wasn't truly delicious. They also carry their own house made bread, of which there are many kinds to choose from. Not to mention the other grocery items and soaps and spices they carry. They will also bake things in bulk for you to take home. I go there at least twice per week, sometimes more. I can't imagine life in dumpy Abbotsford without them! The food is amazing I'd like to say first off. The stock is limited compared to the old location, I'm hearing a lot of people say that as well in yet the staff disagrees. The majority of staff are all quite young and seem untrained or just not knowledgeable about product or especially stock. The location is good but I almost wish that the old was still open as well because I think I would make the drive out there. If you haven't stopped in and tried all the food on the menu you must do so. read more
