    Rigatoni with Meatballs

The Squire was much better than I anticipated. I admittedly felt out of place since I was dressed particularly casual. It was fancier than I was expecting. I'll pack a shirt with a collar next time I'm in town. The food was amazing! My son and I each got different rigatoni dishes. The flavor was rich and the portions were generous. The care placed in the order was apparent. Cory was our server and he did a wonderful job.

Came here for a private event and loved the atmosphere! For the private event, they were able to give us a dedicated section which included a nicely arranged table with decor (seats about 20 people). There was also a TV if you wanted to play a slideshow or watch anything in particular. This had a pre-set menu, I got the spicy rigatoni which was delicious! Perfectly al dente. Would come back again

What a fantastic night at The Squire in West Long Branch! We went for their Frank Sinatra & Dean Martin impersonator night, and it was such a fun experience--the energy was high, the house was packed, and it truly felt like dinner and a show. The food was excellent across the board, perfectly prepared and really hit the spot. On top of that, our server Jackie was amazing--attentive, friendly, and on point all night, which made the experience even better. If you're looking for great food, great service, and a fun night out with entertainment, this is it. Can't wait to come back for another one of these nights!

This was a great find. The food was so good. They have a great menu. The service is excellent. Drinks were top notch. We will definitely make this our new favorite restaurant.

I am so happy that i found this spot Spent the day @ the beach with my wife for our 22nd wedding anniversary & we decided for dinner nearby. 1- the location was perfect, no issues parking, no issues with other businesses 2- ambiance was beautiful & the resteraunt inside and out looks amazing. 3- From making the reservation to walking in the door, the staff was on point. Kind, courteous, friendly, attentive, not overbearing We had breanna as a server, she was on point, very personable and well versed on all they had to offer. Her spirit brought such an airy feeling to our whole experience. Once she found out it was our anniversary, she congratulated us, she took pics for us & made us feel special. We met a few others while there who were just a pleasure to deal with. One of the staff named Jesus was in front lobby area and we struck up a convo that was pleasurable and made an impact on us. 4- lets get to the food, everything from the home made mozz sticks, to the spicy rigatoni was on point!!! My wife had salmon over salad & said the salad and dressing was so tasty and the Salmon was cooked to perfection. The presentation of all the food was beautiful very well done. The portions were not small but not overwhelming either. We enjoyed the food and were able to have dessert. Now the dessert was BOMB, lava cake and creme brulee. We really appreciated that they took the time to decorate it and make our anniversary dessert extra special. 5 Star service all around. Fresh, warm, delicious!! We can not wait to return!!

    Jersey shore restaurant week menu

I visited The Squire during Jersey shore restaurant week for the $42 dinner special. The restaurant is beautiful including a lovely bar with a happy hour and live music. The service is outstanding, several waiters, runners, and bussers taking care of diners. The food is ok, a 50/50 split between highs and lows. The mozzarellas sticks were solid, the baked clams were disappointing. Fresh clams but the breadcrumbs didn't have a lot of flavor. The Chicken parmigiana was very good, large portion and seasoned well. The pasta that accompanied the chicken was overdone. The lava cake was not great, seemed like something I would get frozen at Costco, the ice cream that accompanied the lava cake was fantastic. I will definitely return for happy hour.

It was a Valentines Music Bingo event. Fun ambiance, beautifully decorated. There was a DJ, buffet style brunch. Great selection of food. My Expresso Martini was one of the best I've had.

It was early Sunday night and the bar was full but the dining area wasn't so we stayed in the bar. Service was excellent, the bartender came around and made sure we were comfortable, handed us menus and brought water. She told us the specials and shortly after our server came by. I was a bit disappointed at the lack of seafood on the menu. My picky girlfriend would have enjoyed some flounder or scallops but they only had a seared salmon and blacked shrimp. The Mrs. Got a burger and it was adequate, nothing to write home about. I got the chicken parm and it was ample and terrific. The tomato sauce was stellar! Sadly I wanted the scallops with risotto. This place has potential, the service is great, the atmosphere is fantastic, plus I know the chef has the chops from visiting his last place, the red store in Navasink. We'll be back but I'll be sure to check for seafood offerings before I go.

There's also a huge free parking lot right outside. Our waitress, Liz, was kind, attentive, and clearly very experienced. The restaurant is BYOB, though they do sell a few bottles for around $35. Just note that wine options are limited--they only had Chardonnay as their white wine option. The complimentary tuna salad was so good that we bought a container from the market to take home. We each had a cup of clam chowder, shared the miso scallop sushi, and ordered the sesame-crusted bluefin tuna special. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The highlight for me was the key lime pie--one of the best I've ever had. We loved everything and can't wait to come back and try more dishes!

I had the Double Trouble sub; Fried chicken cutlet, fried eggplant cutlets, buratta cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. It was the best sub I've had in years. As good as anything from Brooklyn or Staten Island. This is scratch cooking. The chicken and eggplant were crispy hot. The bread slightly toasted in the oven. The buratta cheese melted on the hot cutlet. The veggies were fresh. It also came with additional salad greens, Cherry tomatos halved and onion. It took almost 15 minutes for my sandwich and twenty for my brother's shrimp scampi dish. Well worth the wait. As I said cooked from scratch. A younger couple came in after us and the gentleman commented on the size of my sandwich. I'm 71 and I had to take over half of it home; it was ginormous. You get an additional discount if you don't use your credit card. You can't beat the quality of the food, especially on the half price Thursday discount. They also have pizza discounts on Tuesday after 5PM. $8 for a large pie until 6PM. $10 from 6 to 7PM and $12 from 7 until 8Pm. You will not be disappointed. P.S. The staff is awesome!

They come with whipped ricotta and crostini. Each bite was nice and tender, super savory and melt in your mouth. Their honey mustard chicken wrap was a perfect harmony of sweet, tangy, and savory flavors. With the different textures, it gave a nice crunch. Perfect item for takeout for a work lunch! Peel is always creating speciality pizzas to try, so we tried the Bombshell pizza (April 2025)! This lives up to its name - it is fiery, oozing with passion, and an explosion of bold toppings (fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, Calabrian chili, hot cherry peppers). And of course, you can never go wrong with the vodka rigatoni. Their pasta was al Dente and the sauce was rich and creamy with just the right amount of heat. So comforting and irresistibly satisfying! We polished off the night with a yummy little brownie sundae. This satisfied our sweet tooth and was the perfect serving size after indulging in all these carbs. Peel is the ultimate comfort food spot. Whether you're dining in or taking it to go, this is a must try spot down the shore!
