I really like places like this in the area because a lot of restaurants are sit down and have a waiter but The Stand is quick serve and casual. Nice place to just pop in on any occasion for a quick bite. Service is fast and casual. There's great seating inside and out and we never have a problem getting a table. It's comfy and chill with sports games playing on some of the tvs. The food is always delicious and hefty in size but a little on the pricier side. I wish the burgers came with fries rather than having to order them as a side dish. I also wish the napkins and utensils were a little more readily available because you do have to ask for them and sometimes that can take a long time if the counter is busy with customers. Staff: The team here is really nice. Being it was our first time here, we took awhile to order, but they were so patient. Also, the young man who brought our food to the table was really nice. Quality/Quantity: The food is so good here and exceeded our expectations. We got the Stand burger, kids burger combo, and chicken teriyaki plate. The burgers are super delicious with a charbroiled taste like Carls Jr had in their finer days but way better. The buns are brioche so very light and airy. They even put the buns on the grill to toast them which really enhances the flavor. Definitely, my new favorite hamburger place. Value: I found the pricing to be very reasonable. Overall: We stayed in the area so we stumbled upon this establishment by chance and I'm so glad we did. In fact I loved this place so much that we came back a second time two days later. Safe to say I am a big fan of this establishment. Apparently, they have several locations in OC which I did not know so my new love of their food can be carried on. This place needs to get a better system when calling out to go orders. I'd asked the young lady if my order was ready since there was a few to go orders on the counter. She looked at them and said no my order was being boxed up. Then another person went by the bags and called out my name. So my food was sitting there for almost 10 minutes. Now for the food. I had an amazing experience here today! First the cashier was so friendly and helpful and patient while we decided what we wanted. The menu is awesome and you can't go wrong. They have kids meals which is great for my four year old. They have free pickles for you to take and they are so tasty! My ahi tuna salad was out of this world. I ate every bite! I work close to this location and we order often because food is good. However, there is always something missing or wrong with our orders. Usually there are 3-4 orders at the time. Today we requested ranch dressing , but there is NONE. Last time, chicken was in the salad ( vegetarian person) and one before fries were soggy. Food is prepared fresh and it's ready within 5-10 minutes. Some of our favorites are: the sweet potato fries, onion rings, turkey burger, the quinoa crunch salad, the BBQ brisket sandwich, and the customizable hot dogs!! You really can't go wrong. Here are the things I wish would improve: we frequently need to ask for tables to be cleaned. You have to ask for napkins, they are not readily accessible which is frustrating when you're with little ones who are eager to snack on pickles while we wait for our food. This was the best meal I have had in a really long time! The burgers were fresh and perfectly cooked! We got the ABC burger, the ultimate egg, a bowl and the bbq brisket and I have never wanted multiple helpings in 1 sitting! The brisket was incredibly flavored and the pretzel bun took it home! I was in town for the weekend and looking for a quick bite to eat and came across this burger spot. It was very easy to find with plenty of parking. They have indoor and outdoor seating with heaters outside to keep you warm. We came on a Sunday afternoon after lunch and it wasn't too busy. I ordered a salad, brisket sandwich, chili cheese fries and mac and cheese. The sandwiches come by itself so you can order the sides separate. They have a list of sauces at no extra charge and the cashier who helped us recommended a spicy chili aioli and a jalapeño aioli. I wasn't a fan of the aiolis, but the ranch seemed like it was made in house and it was very good ! The Mac and cheese and chili cheese were pretty bland. The salad wasn't fresh as the lettuce was already browning. The portions were a good size and the salad had enough toppings to keep me full. Food and drinks were delish but for the cost, I would've been happy at an In-N-Out burger place. I do have to say the unique choices they had were enticing. This place kind of reminds me of Skinny Fats in Las Vegas. There is indoor seating and outdoor patio seating. We opted for the outdoors as it was a nice day. Service is fast and very helpful with helping us choose our items. It is a pretty pricey place. one of the best tuna sandwiches i ask for a tuna melt on sourdough bread with lettuce instead of arugula and it is just so good. i like the portion too it was filling but too much to make me feel overstuffed. the stand burger was also to die for and i love the way they make their fries they're so thick and crispy. they also have little containers of pickles that you can get up at the cash register which is amazing you really can never have too many pickles with your sandwich!!!! read more
