Ordered takeout from here with my girlfriend last week, we both enjoyed our meals being vegan she ordered the Falafel Burger and I had the falafel wrap with fries and a salad. All the food was prepared neatly and the falafel was crunchy, green inside, and super delicious! We think we'll be back for more next time. I have been wanting to try this place since it opened. Finally, Monday November 6, I get food to go. Cheeseburger, the ABC burger, and onion rings. It was one of the best burgers ever. Went back today. Almost same order, however I got the chili cheese dog, instead of the ABC. was not disappointed. This order was again to go. Staff is very pleasant. My orders have been correct. My new fave to get a burger. The place itself is clean and comfortable. Just a bit too noisy. I gotta be in the mood for noise. But a definite recommendation. read more

The Stand has always been one of my valley favorites. I am from Woodland Hills so being able to have them have a restuarant out here in Irvine makes life so much better. The fire fries are my go to always. They are hot so if you are sensitive to spicy do not order this but order their fries that are to die for. Parking is not bad. The place has outside heating seats. It's a pretty good burger. I liked that they asked how I wanted it cooked. I got the Ultimate Egg burger. Next time I will sub the pickled onions for pickles. The onions were sweet. I like that you can sit outside although it can be hard to find a place to sit. Want to try the shakes next time. read more

The French Onion Soup burger here is incredible. It's like a French dip on steroids. The Cilantro Lime chicken sandwich is also dynamite.

Went here for lunch a few weeks ago and thought it was great. The food really is very tasty, it seems like no one can make a juicy hamburger anymore, but the stand's cheeseburger was great. The beer selection also looks really interesting, I'll have to try to come back for dinner. The only downside is the price. It's a good burger, but a cheeseburger fries and a drink is $14, which is kind of steep compared to other places like hop doddy. I will definitely come back though when I'm in the mood for a good burger, but I'll probably skip the fries to save on the cost. read more

Subdued atmosphere, well thought out menu, fast and friendly service. The burgers are great and non burger items at a good burger place are rarely as good as at The Stand. Everything is fresh made from the burgers and fries to the potato chips and the onion straws. The Short Rib fries are highly recommended. I had high hopes for this place. I searched on yelp looking for a good lunch spot. The menu looked great and so did the photos. However, it isn't as good as the price. $10 for a basic burger. Granted it is good, but everything is a la carte. So $10 is JUST the burger and it isn't worth it. Add on that the fries are terrible. They are not crispy and instead they are soggy and drenched in oil. Plus our food took almost 30 minutes to get to us and it was 1 burger and 3 kids meals. I don't know how this place will serve a business lunch crowd when it's 30 minutes for basic food. Save your money and go somewhere else. Nice size quality burger with fresh tasting ground meat, fresh tomato, pickle, lettuce, and grilled onion. The bun was nicely toasted. The meat was cooked exactly as ordered. The short line moved quickly. The cashier was efficient, but wasn't particularly friendly (a smile would be nice). Came in around 8:30 for a late dinner and even though they closed in 30 minutes Cameron L was super friendly and attentive. I ordered the ABC burger and added onion stings on top. It was such a great burger. The bun was soft and the burger was cooked perfectly. Cameron L. walked by several times to check in on us and even came around to offer everyone ice cream before he cleaned the machine. Since working in Irvine, I've been going to the stand for lunch almost every week, as well as going for after work hour drinks a few times. As great as the food is, the service is just as good. This was a fantastic lunch! The costumer service was great! Our food was quick and we had everything we needed. The menu had a wide variety of options from salads and hamburgers to sandwiches and made to order hot dogs! Then when we were all finished we ordered dessert. Yummy brownie with custard and whipped cream! The custard was nice and smooth and the brownie was soft and warm. We were a bit surprised at the cost of a burger a la carte at $7.50-$11.50. My French onion soup burger was delicious and my hubby's veggie burger was excellent! Amazing burgers! This place is pretty simple, but they have a great variety of burgers. Building your own burger was also an option. They have a variety of buns, though the brioche bun was the bun I chose. They also had great choices for toppings, though I would love to see mushrooms added to the list. It was my first time today...my best friend found them on Instagram and all the pictures looked delicious so we gave it a try. I ordered the chimmy sandwich, my mom ordered the 3 pigs dog and my best friend ordered the spicy short ribs sandwich. We all loved our food and our server Roxy made the experience even better with her knowledgeable and speedy service. She went through some menu items before we made our decision and took the time to go through popular items. I also ordered a small side of Mac and cheese for my daughter and when they brought it out she freaked out because there were bread crumbs on top. Roxy told us not to worry and she brought us another side of it without the breadcrumbs in a hurry....and she even let us keep the one with the breadcrumbs!
