i've gotten the salmon bowl several times, it has become my go-to whenever I have the stand. I was really excited to place a takeout order and upon arriving home I was disappointed at the portion of the salmon. it was a third of the usual size. so sad. will reconsider ordering this again. maybe i'll stick to their burgers next time.

The Stand features excellent burgers, sandwiches and hot dogs. They always have a bowl option as well with your choice of beef, chicken, fish or veggies. The fries and onion rings are soooo yummy. They also usually have either green beans or brussel sprouts as a side too if you want to go a bit healthier. We got a burger and a bowl, both were delicious and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the fire fries if you love heat, not to worry you can tone it down with some ranch if need be.

This is a nice location located in the noho west center directly under the Regal Cinemas. We usually come here with the kids to watch 4DX movies and finding food they will enjoy can be a challenge at times. Well the stand offers plain burgers and hot dogs which are 100x better and cheaper than movie theater food. So we're able to grab a bite to eat before or after our movie. There is plenty of parking at the noho west center and The Stand validates for 90 minutes so you are taken care of there. Once you walk in, you are greeted by a huge menu to look at so you don't hold up the line for people who have decided on what they want. The place was decent. I know there is a lot of traction so tables can be missed. However, I was about to sit down and there was a huge spill in my booth seat. They only have napkins behind the register so after looking around for napkins to clean the seat, I finally asked the guy behind the register and he handed me a few. Prices are fair and it didn't take long for our food to arrive. I ordered the miso salmon bowl, while my kids ordered a hot dog and Mac & cheese kids meal. The boys enjoyed their meal and I thought the miso salmon bowl was pretty good. A small piece of salmon compared to the huge bowl of rice and veggies but it was a solid meal. I would bring the boys back here for lunch if we are checking out a movie. Otherwise, if we are in Noho we'll probably hit up something else. Solid establishment though! OOOO 4 out of 5 Afros

Visited: 12/5/25 Environment: The area was very clean, and there was always an employee cleaning something, whether it was the tables, walls, or even the bathrooms. There are five TVs positioned across two walls, with two on one side and three on the other, and there is plenty of seating. The employees were super nice, they deliver your food to you, and they also clear your platters afterward. They even have a cute "don't fuss, we'll buss" sign. Parking: It is located in a shopping center. You get 45 minutes of free parking at the main entrance, or you can park in the garage for a fee. Parking can be validated here for up to 90 minutes. Bathroom: The bathroom requires a code. It was relatively clean, though the toilet sensor wasn't working so it wouldn't flush. Food: Overall, the food was a good value for the price. Cookie Butter Crunch w/Whipped Cream Shake ($6.99): 10/10 If you love Biscoff, this is amazing. It was creamy, flavorful, and not too thick. It might be the best shake I've ever had. The top is finished with Biscoff crumbles, and I never got tired of it. I was obsessed! Chocolate Chip Cookie ($3.25): 7/10 A decent, standard cookie similar to what most restaurants offer on the side. Nothing particularly remarkable, but nothing bad either. Ultimate Egg Burger - Medium Rare ($14.75): 8/10 The pickled onions added a great pop of flavor and paired well with the bacon. I liked the egg, but it did make the burger a bit soggy by the time it reached me, and slightly muted the flavors. The meat was actually cooked medium rare, which I appreciated. Stand Burger - Medium Rare ($9.75): 8/10 A solid, tender burger with good flavor and a good portion size. The meat was cooked to a true medium rare, which is impressive since many places overcook burgers. Stand Fries (Regular) ($3.75): 6/10 They came with ranch for free, and the ranch was rich and tasty. The fries were okay. They were soft and very potato-tasting. I prefer crispier, saltier fries, so this part comes down to personal preference.

Craving a solid burger? This spot delivers. The burgers were delicious, and I loved that they also offer salads and vegan options. The menu is extensive, with everything from burgers to hot dogs, so there's something for everyone. Seating is available both indoors and outdoors, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. Bonus: they validate 90 minutes of parking in the lot right across the street.

I've had a few issues at this location but tonight was perfect. Our man Andres explained menu items when taking our order and multi tasking orders to go. Atmosphere in a full house was sports pub, family and date nights too. Chicken curry sandwich is new, layered and flavored nicely . Moist , full sized chicken breast on a brioche bun with curry, onion strings worked well . Sweet potato fries were waffle cut and large served hot. Watched lakers game here in a nice environment to dine , great job!

SO good!! This location is located at the NOHO West in North Hollywood which I love, the shopping center is nice and new with lots of outdoor seating. I got the kids burger (added cheese) with fries. I love burgers and am very particular with the flavor of the beef, and this spot is by far one of my favorites. You can really taste the flavor in the burger meat, not just like any other burger place. It was amazing!! The fries were good too and the staff were SO friendly and helpful. They have such a large selection of sauces too, my favorite being the Jalapeño aioli. 10/10! Can't believe I didn't try this spot earlier and I will definitely be returning!

Paula was great!! Definitely worth coming out to eat here! I ordered the southwest chicken wrap and it never misses! My friend ordered the chopped Cobb salad and it was massive! The fries are delicious! Make sure to get extra ranch bc it's addicting!

The Stand is amazing! and the manager at the NoHo location, Irene is also the best! the place is an absolute gem! If you're craving elevated comfort food with a creative twist, this is the place to go. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a modern yet casual vibe that makes you feel right at home. The menu is packed with reimagined American favorites, and everything I tried was bursting with flavor. The burgers are cooked to perfection--juicy, flavorful, and topped with the perfect balance of fresh ingredients. Their fries were crispy and well-seasoned, and the sauces took them to another level. they also validate parking as well. Will definitely be returning.

The stand is a great place to go to if you're hungry inside NoHo West. On the surface this place looks like a classic American burger/sandwich place but they offer some healthy options. When I tell you their ahi tuna salad is in my Top 3 when it comes to my favorite salads ever, I am being SERIOUS. The dressing and ingredients blend together so perfectly. I like to get double meat and I'm satisfied every single time. They have a great steak salad too. I enjoy coming on a sunny day and sitting outside. If you want to sit inside then there are plenty of comfortable seating options with TVs surrounding the restaurant. Perfect spot to watch a game. The burgers, sandwiches, and dogs are solid. They also have great craft beer. The service is always a positive experience. Can't get much better American take out.

Solid spot, plently of parking on a Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately they forgot my buddy's order requiring a prolong stay and extended laugh. Prices, are a tad stiff but not bad for what you get. Also does anyone know what these type of restaurants are categorized as because it's definitely not a sports bar, although it has similar vibes. Overall food is great, I ordered the French Onion with a side of Fire Fires.

I had a pretty frustrating experience ordering from For The Win today, which completely defeated…read morethe purpose of ordering ahead. I placed an online order through their website, and it quoted about a 25-minute prep time with a ready window around 2:56 -3:06 PM. I planned accordingly and even arrived earlier so I could pick it up fresh and avoid waiting. However, just five minutes after placing the order, I received a text saying it was already ready. That immediately raised a red flag, because if you're paying $13+ for a double burger, you expect it to be made closer to your arrival time, not immediately. When I arrived, the burger was already cold. When I brought this up, the employee I spoke with repeatedly said "it's not my fault" and pointed to someone else, instead of taking any ownership or even acknowledging the issue. It was a really poor way to handle a simple customer concern. Eventually, after some back and forth, the burger was remade, but I had to wait another 10-15 minutes. And ironically, it took longer to make it this time than it did after I placed the online order. But then now I wa stuck waiting defeating the whole purpose of ordering ahead. A manager eventually came over and was polite, but by that point the experience had already been frustrating. They also threw away the original burger instead of offering to let me keep it, which felt wasteful. On top of that, when I asked for a couple cups of water for my daughter, I was told I'd need to purchase a bottle, which felt pretty tone-deaf given the situation and didn't even think to offer me any anything for the misunderstanding and having to wait extra time now... The bigger issue here is the lack of coordination and communication. If you're going to quote customers a pickup time, especially for hot food, the order should be made accordingly--not immediately after it's placed. Otherwise, you're guaranteeing that the food won't be fresh when the customer arrives. Between the timing issue, the lack of ownership from staff, and the overall handling of the situation, this was a disappointing experience. I usually like the food, but the service and process today really need improvement.

Yowza! Luckily, Hi Ho wasn't quite as busy as the pizza and ice cream shops, but there were still quite a few folks, and the staff did manage to tend to everyone nicely. If you haven't been, Hi Ho is a simple, fast food burger joint in terms of decor, but the menu (from the same people who own Matu) is a small, curated selection of very high quality options: mostly Wagyu burgers in a few different configurations, and chicken tenders + some very good, hand cut fries. This time I opted for the Pastrami Heat, a double cheeseburger fortified with spicy grilled onions and a not-too-large topper of Wagyu pastrami. I don't usually go for such an elaborate burger, but I just had a hankering. And while I won't say the burger was small, it was not as ridiculously enormous as you might get other places. The double patties were juicy and flavorful, nicely seasoned and coated in properly melted American cheese. The spicy grilled onions did pack a nice punch, but there weren't a lot of them, so their effect was minimal (definitely could use more of those). House-made pickles were pleasingly artisan, with a layered, briny flavor far more enjoyable than the commercial dill chips usually deployed. Finally, the Wagyu pastrami was really quite good. Marbled and juicy without be too fatty or too rich, thinly shaved and portioned just large enough to make its presence known without becoming unwelcome halfway through. Though decadent for sure, this was an enjoyable treat that was only about 50% guilt-inducing. Fries were fresh, hot, crispy and well done, cooked in beef tallow. Also a treat. Prices are in line with what you're paying at other fast casual burger places like Five Guys or Burger Lounge, but the quality here is definitely a step above, so you could almost say it's a deal. Of course, if you also stop into neighboring Erewhon for a smoothie, your budget will be blown.

It's juicy, flavorful, and somehow still simple and perfectly balanced without needing a bunch of unnecessary extras. What really says everything though is that it's kid approved. Everything always tastes fresh and well made, and the consistency is great. It's the kind of place where you go in expecting a good burger and somehow it still manages to exceed expectations. If you're a burger lover and haven't tried HiHo yet, you're seriously missing out. Easily one of the best burger spots around.

Such is the case with Heavy Handed, which debuted as a backyard pop-up just before the shutdown. Heavy Handed distinguishes itself on the basis of its short rib burger base and meme-filled marketing. Heavy Handed transitioned to a food truck in 2021 and now operates two brick-and-mortar locations across LA (this Silver Lake location just closed its doors). The Silver Lake outpost took over the space of beloved diner All Day Baby on a bustling strip of Sunset. The exterior combined HH's signature sunset-orange color palette with psychedelic, LA- and burger-themed murals designed by local artist DJ Neff. The spacious dining room was warmly lit by a red neon strip running the length of the ceiling. Seating options ranged from upholstered half-booths to standard wooden tables and chairs to the bar counter around the corner. Classic rock echoed around the room. My partner and I visited for weekend lunch. We ordered immediately, and our food was available within minutes. We opted to split a Double Short Rib Burger. Immediately, I was impressed by the crispy, slightly charred edges around the circumference. Meanwhile, the center bites were addictively rich and juicy. The thick-cut pickles added a vinegary snap, while the diced onions were caramelized to a jam-like consistency. The service was friendly and efficient. At first, we raised our eyebrows at the $13 pricetag, but we were satisfied with the generous portion and delicious taste. In a busy, burger-heavy neighborhood (including wildly popular peer smash burgers at The Win-Down and Goldburger), this was our favorite one.
