This place is located right under the theater upstairs! Such a chill atmosphere when you walk in. Music is playing so even eating solo is sweet! The service is so great here every time I have come in I'm greeted upon entry, they have been sweet and attentive. I wanted to give a shout out to Irene she is fantastic! Stopped by today at 2:05pm to try this place for the very first time, and it definitely won't be the last. I parked my car at the NOHO West parking garage, which is shared with the many businesses here. The place was pretty empty with some nice music playing overhead and a few TVs playing. It's a casual spot that does their own versions of classic American favorites like burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, salads, and wraps. They even have shakes and ice cream. For drinks, they have some bottled/refrigerated options, fountain drinks, and lemonades. I took a moment to study their LARGE menu and deciced with the following: Grand Stand Turkey Sandwich - $13.75 (roasted turkey breast, peppadew caraway spread, bacon, avocado, lettuce, red onion, fresh dill on griddled sourdough). I also got a Chimichurri Steak Salad - $16.25 (grilled steak, kale and mixed greens, crispy quinoa, green apple, mint, sliced cucumber, cherry tomatoes, corn salsa, chimichurri, charred corn vinaigrette). To finish it off, I got a regular sized order of Sweet Potato Fries ($4.99) and asked for a side of Sourdough bread for my salad. (50¢ for one slice). Didn't get any drinks. Natalie was the employee that helped me and she was very sweet, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. She got everything in my order correct and they got it done in about 10 minutes. Very fast and very fresh! My food tasted delicious and I loved all the flavors and textured together. Great combinations and very flavorful. The fries were nice and crispy, just how they should be. They have some cookies available to purchase by the register, or you can try one of their shakes. They also serve beer and wine here. They have a gender neutral restroom, but I didn't need to use it. Next time, I'm going to come and eat here in person. If you're in the mood to sit outside, you can also dine on their patio. They have 13 locations in LA and were established in 2013. We came about 20 mins before closing. They automatically made our order "take out" just in case but service was fast and we were able to get our meal and finish well before closing time. This is the first time we ate at this location at NoHo West. There is 60 minutes free parking but they do validate for an extra 30 minutes free parking in the structure. We got the ultimate egg burger, grilled cheese with short rib, and fries. The burgers are cooked to order so medium was just perfect. The burger was juicy and filling! It was the right size and tasty. The grilled cheese ended up pretty salty, not sure if it was the bacon jam or the fried onions. We couldn't finish it but when we reheated it later it wasn't as salty. Fries were as expected seasoned just enough that ketchup was not needed but we did ask for some just in case. Ample seating indoors and outdoors. You are not expected to bus your plates but there are well marked trash receptacles. Good meal and decent prices! read more

Don't get me wrong. I love The Stand. But I can't tell you if its me, this location, or the complexity of my order. I just want to kill the craving of a good burger. But we failed TWICE. One week night I came by with my sis. I've been craving a good burger. It didn't have to be fancy or had anything specific or special about it. Just a plain good ol cheeseburger. Although they did have the Stand Burger I changed it up just a tad and went for the ABC. Got adventurous and added an extra patty. Sis asked me if my craving for the burger has been killed. I told her that I am happy about having a burger but I messed up adding the extra patty and the craving is still on. Adding the extra patty made the burger feel dry and it was just too much. It wasn't you, it was me. The other night I was with my nieces and suggested to go to The Stand. I wanted redemption for my mistake. Thought what was missing last time was probably a slice of cheese accompanying that extra patty. This visit, I ordered the Havarti Shroom Burger: added extra patty, added cheese. I asked the cashier if its possible to have the cheese on top of the extra patty and explained it just like "cheese, patty, cheese, patty, medium cooked". They looked confused but seemed to have made it happen? Order arrived and it the burger came cheese, cheese, patty, patty, well done. I didn't want to bother trying to correct the order and just went with it. One of the niece was smart enough to tell me to flip the bottom patty so now its patty, cheese, cheese, patty. That didn't really help. lol It wasn't me this time, it was you. All in all I am in a loss with adding extra patty at The Stand. Guys, don't do it. The Stand features excellent burgers, sandwiches and hot dogs. They always have a bowl option as well with your choice of beef, chicken, fish or veggies. The fries and onion rings are soooo yummy. They also usually have either green beans or brussel sprouts as a side too if you want to go a bit healthier. We got a burger and a bowl, both were delicious and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the fire fries if you love heat, not to worry you can tone it down with some ranch if need be. read more

This is a nice location located in the noho west center directly under the Regal Cinemas. We usually come here with the kids to watch 4DX movies and finding food they will enjoy can be a challenge at times. Well the stand offers plain burgers and hot dogs which are 100x better and cheaper than movie theater food. So we're able to grab a bite to eat before or after our movie. There is plenty of parking at the noho west center and The Stand validates for 90 minutes so you are taken care of there. Once you walk in, you are greeted by a huge menu to look at so you don't hold up the line for people who have decided on what they want. The place was decent. I know there is a lot of traction so tables can be missed. However, I was about to sit down and there was a huge spill in my booth seat. They only have napkins behind the register so after looking around for napkins to clean the seat, I finally asked the guy behind the register and he handed me a few. Prices are fair and it didn't take long for our food to arrive. I ordered the miso salmon bowl, while my kids ordered a hot dog and Mac & cheese kids meal. The boys enjoyed their meal and I thought the miso salmon bowl was pretty good. A small piece of salmon compared to the huge bowl of rice and veggies but it was a solid meal. Visited: 12/5/25 Environment: The area was very clean, and there was always an employee cleaning something, whether it was the tables, walls, or even the bathrooms. There are five TVs positioned across two walls, with two on one side and three on the other, and there is plenty of seating. The employees were super nice, they deliver your food to you, and they also clear your platters afterward. They even have a cute "don't fuss, we'll buss" sign. Parking: It is located in a shopping center. You get 45 minutes of free parking at the main entrance, or you can park in the garage for a fee. Parking can be validated here for up to 90 minutes. Bathroom: The bathroom requires a code. It was relatively clean, though the toilet sensor wasn't working so it wouldn't flush. Food: Overall, the food was a good value for the price. Cookie Butter Crunch w/Whipped Cream Shake ($6.99): 10/10 If you love Biscoff, this is amazing. It was creamy, flavorful, and not too thick. It might be the best shake I've ever had. The top is finished with Biscoff crumbles, and I never got tired of it. I was obsessed! Chocolate Chip Cookie ($3.25): 7/10 A decent, standard cookie similar to what most restaurants offer on the side. Nothing particularly remarkable, but nothing bad either. Ultimate Egg Burger - Medium Rare ($14.75): 8/10 The pickled onions added a great pop of flavor and paired well with the bacon. I liked the egg, but it did make the burger a bit soggy by the time it reached me, and slightly muted the flavors. The meat was actually cooked medium rare, which I appreciated. Stand Burger - Medium Rare ($9.75): 8/10 A solid, tender burger with good flavor and a good portion size. The meat was cooked to a true medium rare, which is impressive since many places overcook burgers. Stand Fries (Regular) ($3.75): 6/10 They came with ranch for free, and the ranch was rich and tasty. Omg I can't say enough good things about things about this place! We actually stopped here because we had about 45 minutes before our movie started upstairs. Upon arrival we were greeted and assisted by a young lady name Irene and when I tell you IRENE is that girl!!! She was soooo friendly and helpful! She walked us thru the menu and told us don't worry about cleaning our trays because that's her job... which we still did because we can't help it but the fact that she offered to clean after us was so nice. Her customer service is one of the main reasons why I would return to this location. She recommended the short rib grilled cheese which was sooo good. Packed with flavor and huge. We got one and split it and it was more than enough. We also got some onion rings which were cooked really well, nice and crisp! Loved the homemade sauces especially the ranch! The vibes were so chill there was alittle music and a bunch of TV's with sports on. So much seating indoor and outdoor. It's the perfect place to just meet up with the gang eat and have a few drinks! Date: July 18, 2026 Time: Approximately 5:30 PM Very disappointing experience. On July 18, 2026, at approximately 5:30 PM, I waited more than 15 minutes for my pickup order even though it was already ready for pickup. I could clearly see that my order was sitting there, but every time I approached an employee, I was completely ignored. I wasn't the only one--there were several delivery drivers waiting as well, and they were also being ignored while completed orders sat on the counter. When I politely pointed out that I had already been waiting a long time and that my order was ready, the employee still refused to hand it to me. Instead, I was left waiting even longer for no apparent reason. This was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. The staff needs to communicate better, treat customers and delivery drivers with respect, and hand out completed orders as soon as they are ready. This experience was a complete waste of time, and I will not be returning. read more

i've gotten the salmon bowl several times, it has become my go-to whenever I have the stand. I was really excited to place a takeout order and upon arriving home I was disappointed at the portion of the salmon. it was a third of the usual size. so sad. will reconsider ordering this again. maybe i'll stick to their burgers next time. read more

I've had a few issues at this location but tonight was perfect. Our man Andres explained menu items when taking our order and multi tasking orders to go. Atmosphere in a full house was sports pub, family and date nights too. Chicken curry sandwich is new, layered and flavored nicely . Moist , full sized chicken breast on a brioche bun with curry, onion strings worked well . Sweet potato fries were waffle cut and large served hot. I love burgers and am very particular with the flavor of the beef, and this spot is by far one of my favorites. You can really taste the flavor in the burger meat, not just like any other burger place. It was amazing!! The fries were good too and the staff were SO friendly and helpful. The stand is a great place to go to if you're hungry inside NoHo West. On the surface this place looks like a classic American burger/sandwich place but they offer some healthy options. When I tell you their ahi tuna salad is in my Top 3 when it comes to my favorite salads ever, I am being SERIOUS. The dressing and ingredients blend together so perfectly. I like to get double meat and I'm satisfied every single time. They have a great steak salad too. I enjoy coming on a sunny day and sitting outside. If you want to sit inside then there are plenty of comfortable seating options with TVs surrounding the restaurant. Perfect spot to watch a game. The burgers, sandwiches, and dogs are solid. Can't say I'm impressed. I've had better tasting burgers. I wasn't thrilled with the burger buns. They didn't seem fresh and were very doughy. Although, The patty was a good size and tasty . I also didn't care for their onion rings. They were very greasy. And the sweet potato fries weren't very good. I don't like the way they're cut and some of them were not fully cooked. Overall, I'm not impressed. My girls wanted burgers, so that's why we stopped here. My 10 year year-old did have strawberry shake, and it was pretty good. I think this is the only reason I would give them a two. This is not place. I would frequent when I'm craving burgers. Hook Burger and Burger Lounge is where I'll be going. read more

Let me start with the customer service there. William was a standout customer service representative. He carefully explained each and every yummy , delicious thing on the menu. William was extremely helpful and made it very easy to make decisions on what I wanted to eat. I had the short rib sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries, which was amazing. The grilled cheddar cheese , texas toast type sandwich with soul filling and delicious with every bite. The setup at the restaurant is your traditional burger stand type restaurant that also shows the back where everybody is busy and taking care of everybody's orders. Just picked up some chili cheese fries after shopping at Trader Joe's. Tried calling but heard a message saying to place the order online. Had a situation occur on June 21th,2026 on Father's day. Was promised a resolution but that never happened. This location was my favorite place to eat until this situation. Was promised a full refund for all the inconvenience and humiliation that went on that day. And a returning credit on them but that just never happened. Haven't been back there since that happened!! I received a response stating that I would get a full refund plus returning credits just reply with info to that email. This was very unprofessional and unsatisfying by upper management ( v/p of this family owned company and g/m of that location. Obviously they just don't care about customers feedbacks. Obviously there going to side with there employees. But let them speak to the customers beside me and when exiting out a customer approached me feeling sad what happened. So for now I will no longer purchase anything from that restaurant. Since management changed for the worse the quality and quantity has changed as well. read more

I must write an updated review after our first visit in 2021. Since then, we have been back countless times for lunch after a movie at the Regal. We've tried nearly every Standwich, several burgers, and one of the wraps. The Stand is consistently phenomenal and it's one of our favourite casual places ever. Some favourites: the Grand Stand Turkey Standwich with the mysterious "peppadew caraway spread" that elevates an already-excellent turkey sando. The Short Rib Grilled Cheese is a hearty, satisfying choice for a chilly day. The Southwest Chicken Wrap is a lighter option, but still packed with flavour and high-quality grilled meat. Their fries are always terrific. Sometimes we get frisky and order the Fire Fries, a slightly spicier version that's perfectly complemented by ranch. We usually get beer, but if you want something lighter, try the Cherry Blossom Lime seltzer. It's a low ABV, but it's delicious - it pairs perfectly with the Southwest Wrap. There are other lunch options at NoHo West, including another artisan sandwich cafe, but The Stand is the vastly superior choice. read more

I ordered one of their specialty burgers, and while it tasted okay, I didn't feel it really "redefined" anything to justify the high price tag. The fries were a bit soggy too.
