I got nacho cheese sauce, asada, cilantro, guacamole crema, and a side of ranch. Very fresh and potato-forward fries. They taste like true steak house fries. I got them extra well done to have a nice crunch. There was almost no salt on them, which is a first. They don't toss them in salt.......Very unique. The tacos were kind of mid...nothing amazing, but they still kinda hit the spot. That said, they felt a bit overpriced for the quality overall, so I'm not totally sold yet and would probably need to try them again to be sure. The real standout was the guacamole! I have been here a few times now. Every time the order has been consistent for the most part (they have placed onions when we ask no onions). The fries are always amazing! My husband loves the double burger and let me tell you he can eat!! And he says that it is a great portion!! Fries- very nice portion!!! Soda is too pricey...like anywhere else the 12 ounce cans of soda is way too expensive! You can place an order outside on their kiosk or come inside and place an order. The Great White Hut is still a solid spot to hang ten. It's small and cozy with a nice patio overlooking Vineland Avenue/Chandler Blvd. A short stroll from North Hollywood Station, Chandler Murals & Bike Path and has some limited parking as well as street parking close by. All the beverages are bottles or cans and you can order via their kiosk and or inside with a server, not to mention through third party apps for pickup or delivery. Their Fritas are still very popular but they still don't offer their Impossible meat as a topping nearly two years later. They're very vegetarian friendly and have some easily vegan modifiable options w/o dairy or mayo. I haven't had Great White in a bit so it was nice to make this a dinner grab and go and have a combo meal with a GrubHub promo for pick up. They offer Burritos, Burgers, Beverages, Quesadillas, Tacos, Nachos and Fries. Open for dine in or dine out all seven days starting at 9AM for the breakfast burrito lovers, until as late midnight every night except Sunday when they close by 9pm. Restrooms are for their employees and for customers as needed as they're not fully accessible for those with disabilities. Seating inside or out, and there's a fair amount of it, plus the patio is pet friendly. GWH - North Hollywood is still my preferred location, but I will note there's no Wi-Fi, but the will also note they do have air inside and good lighting on the patio at night. I have passed by this spot soooo many times and I always thought one day. Yesterday I wanted to push myself to walk as far as possible and after 11 1/2 miles I got tired and hungry. I looked up and I saw this place again and I went on the patio to look at the menu. Once I pulled up the menu I decided one day was going to be then! I probably looked like a fat ass because I ordered to breakfast tacos because honestly the picture looked amazing and I also have been craving a good breakfast burrito so I ordered one of those two! I went for spicy and although I could have used a bit more spice everything was perfect! The tacos with the bacon and the dripping yolk which is one of my favorite things was amazing. I'm very grateful that the great white hut is expanding and they have a few locations now. Quality THANKFULLY is consistent at all their locations which is a plus. The burgers are good but weirdly they are memorable for me due to their "Mexican food" The carne asada fries and the California burrito are some of my favorite choices. They have a decent range of operation hours so it's always a nice choice for lunch or dinner. Staff is friendly, parking isn't usually a pain thankfully, they have their own designated lot, and the prices aren't bad. This location has both an inside and outside dining area with some wall accents that makes for a good date spot. All the great white huts have impressed me with food and service. What made the situation worse was the rude and unprofessional behavior I experienced from staff when I tried to address the problem. Rather than attempting to correct the mistake or provide acceptable customer service, I was refused both a refund and a remake of my order, despite the issue not being my fault. I also want to make it clear that I never even received the food I paid for, as I was informed the order had been thrown away. It is unacceptable that my order was discarded and I was still denied both my food and my money back. As a paying customer, I expected respect, communication, and a reasonable solution. The way this situation was handled was unacceptable and left me feeling frustrated and disrespected. I am requesting that this issue be properly addressed and that I receive a full refund for the order I never received. Coming back from over the hill and I wanted a solid BB (Breakfast Burrito) Havent tried Great White Hut in a while and I know they got some good breakfast options. Stopped in. Service was good. Inside is small and had a odd smell. Couldnt tell what it was. Parking is small and you can easily miss the driveway. I got a BB to go. Bacon w extra cheese. Side of pico de gallo. When I got it I noticed the weight. Felt pretty heavy. I was looking forward to getting back to San Fernando which was about a 17 min drive. It should survive til then right? As soon as I got home I dug in. Bacon was crisp at one point but it fell off a bit to soggy. Wont knock that cause of the drive. One thing I noticed halfway through was the amount of has browns and the texture. There is a lot of hash browns in this burrito. It's around half of the burrito. Now I wouldnt mind that if the other players on the team weer coming through but.... the hash was soggy. I was disappointed. I got some good cheese pockets in the burrito. Bacon was noticable throughout as well. Just didnt have any or much egg I felt. The hash browns really take over. Pico was good as well. Would I be back??? The original location was opened in 1947 and is still going strong in Glendale. Now, The Great White Hut has four locations throughout the valley. The food here seems pretty consisted with the original. Taco Tuesdays is worth it. Get them with cheese. All their tacos are good, I only wish they had Crunchy Tacos. The burritos are also great. I ordered the chicken burrito and it was loaded. Of course, you can't go wrong with the burgers. They are delicious and you can get them with anything on them. I'm a regular customer of the great white hut in Glendale cuz I really love the food there. Opening a location nearer to where I live was great news to me. Until I tried them not just once but twice. First time I visited was on a Tuesday when they offer 99c tacos. I ordered 3 tacos and was ready really fast. I had it to go so my friend handed the bag to me and I was surprised how light it was so I asked him to double check if there were 3 tacos inside. Sure there was 3 inside but barely any meat that's why it felt really light. Disappointed was an understatement! I gave them another chance so I went again and bought even more food. I got two spicy taco and two Mega Carne Asada Fries (Fries, carne asada, beans, nacho cheese, guacamole, avocado cream, pico de gallo and salsa). The fries and tacos were pretty good which should deserve a higher rating but here's what I realized.
