    Garlic knots are soooo good.
    Andy L.

The delicious Italian food and fantastic service had me back the next day. Rigatoni alla vodka is very tasty and a generous portion. Ordered the garlic knot sliders again cause they are so good. Tried the zeppole dessert (fried dough balls with powdered sugar and jam on top) and it came out warm and fresh. The service is A+. My drink got replaced so quickly whenever it got low, and the wait staff checked in on me often to get me whatever I requested.

Anna Pizza is a new Italian restaurant that recently opened in the area and their menu goes beyond wood-fire pizza as you can also order pasta, sandwiches, and entrees. This is not your typical pizzeria since the chef/owner also runs Fire & Wood Catering and they now have their first brick and mortar location. Anna Pizza is located in Valley Village on Burbank Blvd and Whitsett Ave with plenty of free parking. Although they have taken over the space where Gorilla Pies (RIP) used to be, you can expect to still come here and enjoy a delicious slice. I recently did a take out order and got the Brooklyn White round pizza. When I got to the restaurant, it felt like a mom-and-pop neighborhood Italian restaurant with plenty of framed photos as decoration. The customer service was beyond kind and the pizza was cooked fresh inside a wood-fire oven. As for the pizza, my wife and I were happy we went with a Brooklyn White for our first order. It was made with shredded mozzarella, ricotta cheese, shaved Parmesan with fresh garlic , black pepper, and Graza Olive Oil. What made this pie stand out was the sesame seed crust, this was definitely a first. I do plan to come back so I can explore the menu and I hope Anna Pizza is here to stay!

The pizza here is absolutely delicious! Service was wonderful, what a great space! Plenty of indoor seating, but also packaged very well to go. Also, plenty of easy parking, the owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. The pizza was fantastic, the appetizer is however need some work. The garlic knots look delicious but we're still raw on the inside and the Arancini fell apart instantly, I would've also wished for some filling such as cheese, ham or peas instead of just rice. The mozzarella sticks also had zero cheese pole and were quite generic. We would definitely be back for the pizzas and pass on the appetizers next time.

Pretty solid pizza place in Valley Village! It was close to a park where my daughter was playing with her friend from school. Her mom told us about this place so we went there and gave it a try! The staff was super friendly. We just split a cheese and pepperoni pizza. Really wanted to try the Pepperoni Dreams pizza but they couldn't do halfsies with a specialty pizza. So much more to try next time we visit! But the pizza was yummy!

Dined in on a Friday night & had the best experience. Everyone was super sweet & welcoming. It's a very small establishment but people are in & out quickly. Their pizza choices are unique with fresh ingredients and they have the best crust! We tried their pepperoni dream again but this time I asked for no chili & it was perfect; I love the fresh mozzarella they use on their pizzas. We also got their garlic knot sliders again because they're THAT good. Definitely recommend checking them out and supporting this small pizza spot, a bit pricier than the big pizza chains but worth the price for their quality

Ambiance was chill environment. The restaurant is small so depending on crowds and time of day I'm not sure how busy it gets/ how wait times are. This place is on the pricier side for pizza, if you're looking for a quick bite with different types of pizza options be mindful it is limited on toppings. I wouldn't recommending sitting there if you have children or plan on staying there for a while as they don't have any bathrooms open for their customers which is a bummer. We did take out on this pizza and received it right why it came out. Pizza was good but nothing too special on the flavor. There is additional charges for ranch and any other sauces. We tried the "chili oil" which I was excited for but unfortunately just tasted like olive oil.

Because I'm so spoiled by Portland's pizza I couldn't give this pizza five stars but I'd say it's 3.5 out of 5. For $25 I expected other type of mushrooms and other kind of vegetables because it was basically mushrooms with lots of onion. Crunchy onion on pizza was an interesting choice. Liked the mozzarella pizza, it helped. The tomato base sauce was not as flavorful as I liked but again very spoiled by amazing pizza we have in Portland. I was excited to learn this was sourdough pizza but didn't get that complex taste from the crust.

Tried for the very first time and it was SUPREMELY delicious! We got the Pepperoni Dream and it was just that! Perfectly cupped pepperoni, fantastic level of spice paired with a hint of sweetness, creamy ricotta, and a flavorful, fresh basil chiffonade on top. Loved the garlic knots, too. So happy to find out they have great pasta, salad, and sandwiches as well! We will have to dine in next time. :)

Everything was amazing! We started with the mozzarella sticks which they told us are made in-house from fresh mozzarella. We had the L'industrie pizza. Thin crust with a good chew. The Cheesesteak was delicious. The ribeye portion was very generous and well seasoned. The housemade sesame bun was a perfect complement. We ended the night with the zeppoles. They came out very hot and you get so many! The service was great, very attentive and everyone was very friendly. Will definitely be back!

I found out about this spot through a local IG post and a few friends and I decided to check it out. We ended up ordering a variety of dishes and took plenty home to enjoy over the next few days! This eatery is from the team behind Fire and Wood Catering so they already had a reputation before building their first brick and mortar. Here's what we tried: *Arancini-Two Sicilian Arborio rice balls served on a bed of whipped ricotta, covered in creamy vodka sauce and topped with fresh basil. *House-Made Mozzarella Sticks-Fresh mozzarella coated in their homemade sourdough breadcrumbs, fried until golden and served with their signature vodka sauce. *Caesar Salad-Romaine lettuce, shaved Parmesan, house-made crushed sourdough croutons, and handcrafted Caesar dressing. *Chopped Salad-Romaine, radicchio, garbanzo beans, cherry tomatoes, red onion, Genoa salami, provolone, pepperoncini, tossed in balsamic vinaigrette and finished with Sicilian oregano. *Rigatoni Alla Vodka-Rigatoni pasta tossed in their signature creamy vodka sauce. *Cajun Shrimp Pasta in a Bread Bowl-Pasta in a Cajun cream sauce with fire-grilled shrimp, served in a warm bread bowl. *Pepperoni Dreams Pizza-Cupping pepperoni, mozzarella, fresh garlic, and vodka sauce, finished with Calabrian chili, fresh basil, and stracciatella. *Philly Cheesesteak-Ribeye with onions and provolone on a homemade sesame roll. *Italian Meatballs-Two 3oz Wagyu beef meatballs smothered in marinara and grated Parmesan, finished with fresh basil. *Meatball Garlic Knot Sliders-House-made Wagyu beef meatballs sandwiched in jumbo garlic knots, topped with mozzarella and marinara. *Cannoli Pizza-Warm pizza dough topped with homemade chocolate chip cannoli cream, coated in cinnamon, crumbled cannoli shell, and a dusting of powdered sugar. Served warm and gooey. As I do not eat red meat, I ate everything but those items. The restaurant itself is small and cozy with only about 5-6 tables, but parking is super easy since it's located in a strip mall. I'll definitely be back to try more of their pastas soon!

This place will have you on a one-way flight straight to NYC! The ambiance is so East Coast with a touch of the West Coast. I loved the penny floor, such a nice touch! The owner and his team are so nice and welcoming. They answer any questions with so much passion!! But man, the food is another level. Their pepperoni dreaming legit had me dreaming for more. Perfect pie with nice chew and excellent char not too burnt but just right. Their pasta hits also I had their cacio pepe with grilled chicken and it was bomb! Today I had their Wagyu garlic knot parm and it was a slam dunk! Their pizzas again another level of their own legit top 5 in LA. So light but so much flavor and everything you could want in a NY pie. Their cheese slice brought me back to my childhood. Getting pizza with my grandpa was one of the most precious moments ever and this brought back all of those memories with the flavors. Anna's pizza is a staple in the Valley its no wonder they sell out at night. If you are reading this consider yourself lucky. Go and treat yourself.

I customized my sub by asking for the avocado on the side and without pickle or onion. Mu wife sub was just with no tomatoes. The drinks options here are amazing, you have kool aid! They also have different kind of tea as well. This place also has a bar where you can get drinks. There enough seating to accommodate for most guest but I was just taking to go. They didn't take long to make my order and I had a great time chatting with the person preparing my order. He was very nice and energized with a upbeat attitude. He let me know that the sandwich was labeled so I would know which sub was which with the customization. It's street parking here or you can try to park in the little garage in the back, I just walked here. My sandwich was delicious and has a little kick to it. I will recommend that if you get the Kali Mist, you should eat it while it's fresh for the best taste. The sub will fill you up because it has so much toppings in it and they give you a decent amount too. My wife loved her sub as well beside the bacon since I forgot to ask for that on the side. If I'm back in the area with my friends, I would recommend coming here to them.

The cakes are great (Black Forest and walnut go hard). The Russian/Ukranian chip flavors rule. There are specialty candies and jarred foods and good looking fruits and veggies. There's an off menu soup with dill and little chicken meatballs that I'd recommend to anyone ailing in a heartbeat. And then, finally, we arrive at the salads and cold veggies. Nonstop bangers. I could barely stand and I barely survived. I knew about a famous brave Ukrainian woman who had survived radiation exposure thanks to her unborn child. Her survival story led to me requesting female cancer screenings which led to the surgeries that saved my life. (**Confetti flying **) There's a very long list of doctors and people who have helped me survive and recover to whom I live for in gratitude. Our commitment to the people and values which help us survive the impossible compels us to rise to the occasion of coming back stronger and better than we ever could have accomplished before or alone. So I'm drinking bone broth, eating extra protein, taking vitamins. And lifting weights with steadfast determination to recover my strength and then some. (Go Navy!) No market has helped me more in this health effort than this hidden gem. (Many thanks!) I am the customer who buys ALL the boxes of pastilla. (SORRY OTHER CUSTOMERS!) Pastilla is a layered pastry made of baked apples and eggs white, no sugar and nothing else! It's a miracle of a snack! Tastes like apple cake, made of egg whites. Protein in my car after working out? Five million stars. ***** To all y'all spending big bucks on cold bone broth, consider the chilled chicken gelatin dish here. Khoolidets? -It's rich with real collagen, high in protein and perfectly balanced with firm carrots and vegetables.I love this dish! Five stars. A real life look young dish! My personal secret to looking a little younger than my age is recovering from surgeries and serious stuff through nutrition, hard work and most importantly, contributing to my community. Beat the odds. Cimb a mountain. Start a non profit. Save the world. You've got this! And. Yyou're going to look GORGEOUS while you're doing it because you're already beautiful just the way you are. If ever there's a pandemic, a zombie apocalypse, or problem, people will come to each other's aid time and time again. To offer encouragement, advice and help to achieve the impossible. Grandma's Deli Babushka is a good place to be reminded that we're in it together.:) Spaseeeba! I'm on a mission to recover improved again. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who is helping me with this mission! Cheers YELP! :)!
