    CHICKEN MEATBALLS
    Ves S.

Stopped by with our foster dog! We grabbed a table outside and ordered at the bar. Water is self serve while our entrees are brought to our table. We ordered some chicken meatballs, broccolini, and a brussel sprout bacon pizza to share. The bacon was a bit salty but the pizza dough was nice and bready! The chicken meatballs were tasty with the ricotta and boule. Bathroom requires a code.

The service was great, the guy who took our order was kind. The waiters were attentive of our needs and wants. The ambiance there is an inside space and outdoor space which I like choices. Very open and so much space and the drink choices are great. The food was amazing. I would love to go back to try out the brussel sprouts and their wings. My date and I got the Hawaiian pizza, garlic knots, and the Mac and cheese. I enjoyed how fluffy the pizza was, the garlic knots had so much flavor, and the Mac and cheese was cheesy. Would definitely come back again and I like the bread crumbs on top of the Mac and cheese.

Came in tonight for some pizza, and this was my first experience at Pitfire Pizza. We ordered the Pineapple Express, their pepperoni and basil pizza (I cannot remember the exact name on the menu), and an order of the boneless ginger chicken wings. Service was fast and friendly, and the space itself was nice with plenty of outdoor seating. The food was good. Not spectacular, but definitely not disappointing. The boneless chicken wings looked beautiful and crispy when they arrived, but ended up being more soft than crispy. The flavor was solid overall, though. The pizza itself was yummy. I do wish it had been a bit crispier, as the bottom of the dough was somewhat soft and the slices were a little floppy. I think this could easily be fixed by requesting the pizza stay in the oven for a few extra minutes. One thing worth mentioning, although it did not affect my overall review, is that there is a bus stop right next to the location where a group of homeless people were camping. The smell was unpleasant. As someone who lives in LA, I recognize this as an unfortunate norm, but it is still worth noting if you are planning a date night or a family outing.

Long overdue, but here it is , this place deserves it! We've been coming here for a while now and it never disappoints! Today we ordered the Pineapple Express, Margarita Pizza, Caesar Salad, Boneless Buffalo Wings, and our absolute favorite the pizza wine. Everything was delicious, as always! Our server was amazing and I have zero complaints. What really stands out about this place is how they treat you like family. When we celebrated my daughter's high school graduation here, they accommodated our group immediately without any fuss, that kind of hospitality is hard to find. If you're ever in North Hollywood, do yourself a favor and check this place out. You won't regret it!

Food here is cutting edge and priced right. Service is super friendly. What stood out is the menu , prices and the crowd which is very relaxed and trendy. Mostly self-serve. Children are welcome, pet-friendly, they have outside patio areas to enjoy a relaxed meal with friends/family. Right in the heart of North Hollywood. Parking is available all over from street to paid parking areas, 2 minutes walking. Definitely worth to recommend if you don't know what to eat. You can randomly get anything from the menu and be pleasantly surprised.

Loooooved this brewery/ pizza spot The pizza was absolutely delicious, Really good service pizza was done quick has kind of a open kitchen so you can see them making it. They have different flavors of lemonade. The beer was nice and yummy on top. We got a delicious pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms and then our friend got one with pineapple both of them were delicious that oven fire type pizza where it's often thin and the cheese is all yummy and gooey overall great experience I like the location you could eat inside and outside and the music is good.

I honestly was shocked how cute and chill this place was! I came here after a long day of work and ordered to go. I sat by the outdoor fireplace as I waited for my food to be ready and almost regretted not staying there to finish my meal. The ambiance is a great place to be alone or with a group. It wasn't too loud nor too quiet. It was like an outdoor cute backyard picnic vibe. The food was good but it was the ambiance that got me wanting to come back again!

The pizza is fabulous. The service could be improved. It was later in the evening and there were maybe two pizza orders ahead of me. The cashier was really friendly about taking my order and said he'd bring the pizza out, but then disappeared to flirt with two girls on the other side of the patio for an hour. Finally, one of the chefs saw me standing around waiting with my number and brought my pizza. I hope it was just a fluke because of the lateness of the evening, and I'll come back, but it was really disappointing.

It was reasonable. My girl recommended and upon arrival the item she had craved hadn't been to her liking. I hadn't tried a margarita pizza and she thought it would be an excellent experience. The pizza, two beers, pasta, cauliflower, and a salad came together but not over the top on the experience. It was a "BYOB" type ting. If your party was joyful and laughing then have at it but if you had a small group and no sense of humor the staff isn't going to bring the show to your table. All and all, I'll visit again for a group kickback

Love the HONEY BEAR! We've ordered three times now and it does not disappoint. Perfect chew! We also enjoyed the steak salad and boneless garlic ginger wings. Highly recommend!

We stumbled upon this place after a show and Pitfire is such a cute vibe. There's a huge outdoor patio with plenty of seating and indoor seating as well. There's a great selection of beer, wine, and even frozé along with pizza, sandwiches, apps, and salads. We ordered the Sausage Party pizza and it was perfect to share with another person. The food came out pretty quickly - within 10/15 min. I will definitely come here again!

From my first call to restaurateur Eric to make a reservation earlier in the week, the experience was as warm and personable as can be. Within minutes of our arrival, we were greeted by co-restaurateur Antonio, and we instantly felt like family at the beautiful, private table they had thoughtfully reserved for us by the window. Our wonderful server, Jessica, made the night even brighter. We started with some Peach Puree Bellini Prosecco that was crisp, refreshing, and beyond amazing. The food arrived with impressive speed, but the quality was truly second to none. My wife absolutely loved the special of the night--a Tiger Shrimp and Asparagus Linguini--and my Angus Beef Bolognese with savory short rib ragu was easily the best I've ever had. Antonio and Jessica checked on us frequently, chatting about the day and the amazing history of the restaurant. This was NOT just a night out at a "restaurant." This was quite literally getting together with family and having the time of our lives. Prosecco Trattoria is not "just another place to eat"--it is now our favorite home away from home for artfully prepared food and drinks. To Eric, Antonio, and Jessica: thank you for welcoming us into your family for such a special milestone!

The hubby wanted to eat out Italian for a cozy Sunday, holiday evening. And have never ventured here in Toluca Lake; and what an elegant, delight! Jessica was our server. She made our experience delectable, truly! Noticed every detail, and with warm humor. She recommended my husband read the desert menu aloud, for the romance of it all. And it works and that's true! Hehe I ordered the 4-cheese Ravioli in tomatoe sauce, and it's unlike any I've EVER had. It's about 5 inches in diameter, round+ mostly flat, and not too salty. Absolutely delicious! Jessica offered to sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top, the service! Unmatched. The Italian seasoning added to the tomatoe sauce, makes it sweeter, aromatic. If you're familiar with my reviews, I'm always searching for vegetarian options. For desert we had the Panna Cotta with wild berries. Excellent, yummy! And we kept it cozy, with mint hot tea. Which is always a go-to around the Xmas holidays. The decor is northern Italian elegance: hand painted art, crystal chandeliers, and white linens abound. Reminds me of when we hiked the hills of Tuscany. With the holiday touch of twinkle lights and fresh winter floral bouquets. It seems most locals frequent here: Are known by name, and had the front door held open for them if elderly. What sweet, kindness and local vibes. We'll be back, to try perhaps the chicken the hubby says. :) Thank you all for an exceptional, romantic Sunday night dinner with my Hubby, during the holidays.

The trattoria had low lighting and looked like a romantic little Italian villa with Sinatra music lilting in the background. It felt much more a date night place than a business dinner. First, the wine list by the glass had excellent, very interesting and offbeat selections. The bottle selection was really superb. Then, as a starter, we shared a white bean and lobster appetizer. From the moment we pulled up to valet to checking in for our reservation, everything felt smooth and elevated. We got seated right away and our server, Roger (I think that was his name), immediately set the tone for the evening. He gave us a great rundown of the menu and the concept of the restaurant, which made the experience feel more personal and immersive. We started with the Hokkaido milk buns and wow... that brown butter was dangerously addicting. Soft and almost mousse-like with the perfect balance of sweetness and salt. I could honestly eat that by itself. The buns themselves were delicious too, though I do wish they served them piping hot like the bread at Texas Roadhouse or Lucille's Smokehouse. The yellowtail crudo was incredible. Super fresh, melt-in-your-mouth texture, and the chips added a nice crunch while the fruit brought a bright, robust flavor that paired beautifully with the fish. Easily one of my favorite dishes of the night. A friend of my friend happened to be working there that evening and surprised us with the kale sprouts. Funny enough, we had literally just been debating whether to order it. It turned out to be such a great dish -- smoky, crunchy, and packed with flavor. The raisins added a really nice touch of sweetness. We ended up saving some of it to eat alongside our entrees and it paired perfectly. My friend ordered the dry-aged branzino and it was excellent. Crispy skin on the outside while the fish stayed soft, juicy, sweet, and savory inside. The Oaxacan mole felt like such a bold choice but somehow worked beautifully with the dish. And that burnt sweet potato? So soft and flavorful it practically melted in your mouth. I went with the dry-aged duck breast and loved every part of it. It came with pommes aligot layered with duck au jus and fermented black bean underneath, which sounded unexpected but tasted amazing together. Rich, savory, unique, and comforting all at once. The potato pave was another standout -- crispy on the outside, tender and rich on the inside. Absolutely delicious. Everything about the night was memorable: the atmosphere, the music, the food, and the service. Verse is definitely one of those places that stands out from the usual dining scene. We started with the kale sprouts and buns appetizer, then my wife ordered the mushroom risotto from their vegetarian menu, which was a really nice surprise since we hadn't seen it online and it gave her more options, and I had the NY steak. We also shared the corn elote on the side. Everything -- and I truly mean everything -- was delicious and incredibly satisfying. One thing I really appreciated was that dinner felt like an experience rather than a rushed meal. The food came out a little slower than at most restaurants, but honestly, that made the night even better. It gave us time to enjoy the music, relax, talk, and savor each course as it came out. Plenty of street parking is available. The restaurant and bar remind me of a neighborhood favorite in Italy with the lighting, dark wood and lots of old time family pictures. My husband ordered a gin martini and said it was the best prepared martini he has had in a while (he is pretty picky on his martinis). The food was plentiful! The ambience was usual, old Italian restaurant vibe. Most of all, I was very disappointed with my food. This makes it two strikes.
