    Southwest Chicken Wrap
    Susan H.

I had the Southwest Chicken Wrap for lunch today. It was absolutely delicious. I appreciate the extra sauce included in my delivery order. I'll definitely have this again.

A fun spot for burgers with multiple locations in Irvine. We went to this one for a fundraiser and they were donating 25% of the profits to the organization. There is plenty of parking in the plaza. The indoor seating is made up of mostly large tables. You order at the counter and the food is brought out to you. The staff is very friendly and they keep the line moving quickly. It looks like after you're done dining, the staff will clean up the tables. There was a point where all the trash cans were full and a lot of the tables still had used trays and trash that had been sitting for a while. Even so, there were still plenty of clean tables that were open. My favorite item to order is actually the short rib grilled cheese. It's packed with meat and the outside of the bread has toasted cheese on it. The burgers are a decent size and they have lots of options for sides and drinks. It's a good place to go if you're looking for a classic American meal.

The stand is a family favorite for us. Every one in the family enjoys it. The food is good. The service is great. Highly recommend the converse chicken salad!! This week when we visited a fabulous employee, Tu, introduced us to New dipping sauces. We can't get enough of the chili aioli! You have to try it! My husband really liked the fire sauce ( but it was too spicy for me).

I came back for round two!! 1st visit: Freaking delicious! Everything I ordered was mouthwatering. Their service is great. The ambience was perfect for The Stand.

    Chinese Chicken Chop Salad
    Tiffany C.

Ordered through a third party office catering app, and the food came nicely packed with the salad dressing on the side. The chicken chopped salad does not skimp on the chicken pieces, it was loaded with so much protein and veggies. The ginger dressing complemented all the veggies and textures so well, loved the fried wonton chips too. This is my new go to order at the Stand when I'm wanting something lighter!

The burger was decent. Smaller than expected, but tasted good. The service was good. If I were in the area I would eat here again.

Ordered takeout so cannot comment on service or ambience. Got the tex-mex steak bowl ($16.25) which was delicious and healthy. Loved all the flavor profiles in one bowl. Agua fresca ($4) was fresh as well.

I've dined in and have ordered a couple times through door dash. The Stand never has disappointed me! I love their salads, burgers and hot dogs. I ordered delivery through the Stand website which made it very easy. They use the Door Dash platform. Today we ordered a chili hot dog, and mushroom burger and an egg bacon burger. The burgers were great! We were able to order it with a medium cook which is great. I can't do well done burgers! Our burgers were delicious and well prepared. I have had the French onion soup burger and the burger with the crispy onion strings in the last and they're both excellent as well. We ordered a chili dog with banana peppers and red onions but there wasn't much chili on the hot dog so I was a little disappointed! The hot dog bun had cooked so it wasn't as good as eating it in the restaurant. I have gone into the restaurant a few times. It's always clean and the service is solid. You order and pay first at the counter and they will give you a number for your table. They bring the food to the table so I'd suggest tipping appropriately when you order and pay since they do serve you the food. One of my favorite burger places for sure! Highly recommend.

An American dining with fusion touch in their dishes. Delicious and variety dishes that I can come back multiple times to try different food. Love the spacious and sporty vibe here. I had: 1. Peri peri chicken bowl 2. Tex-Mex steak bowl 3. Miso salmon bowl 4. Southern chicken wrap 5. Ahi tuna 2.0 sandwich 6. ABC burger beef 7. Thai tea milkshake 8. Cookies

5 stars for the service 4 stars for tuna albacore melt My day is slightly whatever, but the warm service and non-robotic personality from the employees here are the cherry on top. Food tends to be good to amazing, depends what you get and who makes it. ============== I asked for some gloves because my finger has a bandaid - the guy with glasses asked me what size I need, if I wanted to try them on, and even shared with me how he eats wings with gloves lol The cashier was very pleasant, so yes you'll get that tip. Even the bussers and servers seemed happy to help. Lots of variety here for everyone, adults and kids alike. Salads, burgers, some wraps, lots of appetizers, a couple of desserts. You can choose from different types of cheeses and different protein selections (turkey, chicken, beef) The menu shows how much protein certain dishes have which is always helpful. Veggie burger is def one of my fav items here (5 stars) Even if something isn't amazing here, most items will be tasty (and not bland). I'll have to utilize the app more!

Location was nice parking was convenient clean indoor seating areas big enough for a family of 8. Also cozy outdoor seating area. Menu was simple and so many options that sounded so good. Havarti mushroom sandwich and Ahi salad were delicious. Customer service was nice, great communication, and the service seemed genuine. Like they were actually happy to help. Which was nice. Will definitely recommend and plan on coming back

Love how fresh the Chimichurri Steak Salad is for a quick service restaurant. The ordering process is easy - order on the app or with the cashier. The ingredients are fresh and the flavors are well balanced, all while being affordable! They also have wine and beer. Indoor and patio seating available. Overall a great place to grab a quick bite.

    Is the chili gluten free?

I'm not sure but they have Gluten Free hamburger buns and are very careful when we ask them if something has gluten. The people up front go back and either ask the manager or cooks.

    Are the meats hormone free?

Do you have a tap list available online? I looked on The Stand website but didn't see a Tustin list.

Our current beer and wine menu can be found at https://www.thestand.com/location/Tustin/ - and you'll find a button for "Beer & Wine Menu". We keep our menu fresh and exciting so some options may change. We look forward to serving you soon!

Service was excellent too. Shout out Tai? I'm not sure how to spell it. Cute inside with pretty decor but a little small so make sure to put your name down. We went Sunday around 7:30/8pm and there wasn't a wait for party of 4. Pork jowl is a fav of mine and their ssamjjang tastes pretty authentic but definitely had a little twist to it. It was super tender and well marbled. The crispy chicken was also juicy as it was all thigh meat. It reminded me of takoyaki in terms of taste. I wonder if it's because there's bonito flakes in it or something like takoyaki? Scallop pesto pasta was AMAZING. Scallop is my fav seafood and I never had a creamy pesto before. Udon noodles were cooked perfectly. The skirt steak really surprised me. We asked for medium rare and nice never had a skirt steak that tender. The broccolini tasted very charred and smoky (in a good way). It complimented the meat so well. Miso bacon carbonara was a solid choice and we also got that last time. Can't go wrong with it. Long story short, she was super gracious and told the cooks that we would get there a little after two and they would make us something from the lunch menu. Isa was our waitress, and she was phenomenal! Great sense of humor, very transparent about the different menu items. I got a copal and it was fantastic! Smoky and spicy, but not too spicy. We started our late lunch with Caesar salad, Sopa Limon, Seabreem fish dish. We also got the cubano. We were so stuffed by the end of it, but everything was phenomenal. The Caesar salad was a great way to start the meal, but after a couple of bites of it once we had the other dishes, it didn't stand out as much. We probably would've ordered the same thing all over again, with the exception of the Caesar salad (although it was still good!) Sopa Limon had a very unique bone broth flavor. It was a little sweet. So amazing. Seabreem dish - the vegetables played an important part in the flavors! The fries and the aïoli for the Cubano was amazing. The Cubano was excellent, but was a big serving. We sat outdoors, but if I had to have my choice, I would prefer indoors because the ambience indoors is similar to a resort. It reminds us of a place up in the Bay Area called Luna in Campbell. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, and I can easily see it being a great date spot in the evening. Because our group was so large, I couldn't sample or photograph every dish, but here is my breakdown of the items ordered near my end of the table: 01. Arugula Salad (half) $8.00 - 3 Stars - Light and exceptionally simple, topped with red onions and parmesan cheese. Frankly, it was a bit too simple, the dressing was entirely unmemorable. 02. Prime Rib Dip $25.50 - 3 Stars - This arrived looking very promising. The fries were perfectly crisp, and the creamy horseradish packed a powerful punch (it will definitely clear out your sinuses). Unfortunately, the thinly sliced meat was slightly overcooked, dry, and a bit chewy. While the au jus was flavorful, I've definitely had better prime rib dips elsewhere. 03. Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich $20.50 - 2 Stars - This was the biggest disappointment of the lunch. It looked great initially, but hiding a layer of mashed potatoes underneath the chicken was a strange choice that made the bottom bun instantly soggy. The chicken itself lacked crunch, likely because it was completely doused in what tasted like standard Frank's RedHot sauce (tangy and vinegar-forward, but not actually spicy). No wonder there are barely any photos of this online; I wouldn't order it again. 04. Lobster Roll $32.00 - 3 Stars - Beautifully presented with large chunks of lobster and a side of sweet potato fries. However, at this price point, it felt overpriced for the portion size. The flavor was a bit bland and lacked a "wow" factor. While I appreciated the use of butter lettuce to keep the roll from getting soggy, the lobster meat didn't actually fill out the bread end-to-end. On the bright side, the butter sauce was quite good. 05. Creme Brulee $12 - 3 Stars - A very standard crème brûlée with a decent portion size. It was served completely chilled, which threw off a few of my colleagues. While it's traditionally served chilled, some places serve it closer to room temperature, so this really just comes down to personal preference. 06. Fresh Seasonal Cobbler $12.00 - 3 Stars - As a massive fan of cobblers, I was underwhelmed. The berries were cooked down so much that they lost their form entirely, taking on a jam-like consistency. The crust layer was incredibly thin and soggy, making the whole dessert feel mushy. Luckily, the vanilla ice cream helped cut through the intense sweetness, but overall it was just okay. LOCATION/PARKING - The restaurant sits right on the corner and shares a parking structure with Monaco, The Trough, and Izakaya Osen. Valet parking is available, and the restaurant validates for 90 minutes. CUSTOMER SERVICE - The service seems to depend heavily on who you get. While the staff was generally friendly, they weren't particularly attentive, and we constantly had to ask for refills. To be fair, assigning just one server to a party of 14 is a tough ask, this venue is likely better suited for smaller groups. VERDICT - Overall, the menu feels a bit overpriced for the quality of the food. If my team decides to host another lunch here, I wouldn't object to returning.

Our server was very warm and helpful. For two of us we ordered one heavier dish and 3 on the lighter side and I actually left pretty stuffed. The menu is always evolving so I'd love to return, but for this visit we started with the bread and ham butter. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the ham butter imparted so much flavor. My favorite item that we ordered was the Galician Octopus. The thin slices were perfectly executed and the flavors underneath packed a punch. I would pass on the Gambas al Ajillo. While the shrimp were large, I found myself wishing that they had some char. The Summer Squash Salad was a perfect complement to the other dishes. I found the squash ribbons to be unique, the dressing to be light and fresh, and the inclusion of small bits of cheese to impart just the right amount of saltiness to the dish. Because we were celebrating my birthday, they gave us a complimentary slice of the basque cheesecake with a candle in it. Typically I'm not a big fan of this type of cheesecake, but theirs was wonderful and we ate the whole thing. I'm always appreciative when a restaurant does a little something extra for a special occasion. Extra props to our server because she noticed the gift that my friend brought for me and took it upon herself to inquire about the occasion and bring the dessert. It's those little touches that mean a lot.

Making reservations is recommended since the restaurant is small but making it wasn't too difficult. We were impressed by how cute it was. It had a dark European vibe which we loved. It's definitely intimate and great for small groups, not so much larger ones. We brought in our own wine to enjoy with a corkage free. We got seated right away and our nice waiter gave us great recommendations and answered our many questions. We ended up ordering a lot between all three of us but that's just how we roll. We started with their bread & ham butter, pork pate, and burrata. The pork pate didn't come with bread so we were glad our waiter recommended it. The pate was really good and was different. It was on the dense side but still spreadable and full of flavor. The burrata had peaches, cherries and pinenuts. It was different but in a good way and we also ate that with the bread. It was more bland and nice with the pate. For dinner we got their steak tartare, mushrooms, chicken, and pork. The steak tartare was on the saltier side which I didn't mind. It was actually a large portion and sat on some toast. The mushrooms were a hit. They were braised with an onsen egg on top to mix. The pork was exceptional. It was flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend it for protein. My least favorite dish was the chicken, which was actually super tender and cooked just right. I just didn't like the sauce taste and I am not a fan of beans. We ended the night with some basque cheesecake which was not too sweet and delicious. What an incredible meal. The pricing we thought was good for the quality and what you get. Some of the portions were smaller but good for us. The pork did have a 40 minute wait to make which our waiter told us. Service was amazing and the food came out as it was made. The restaurant is small so reservations is recommended. They have limited parking and there is also street parking around.

However, what is amazing is the food quality which definitely is attention grabbing. I've had many breakfasts and evening dishes (salmon or salads).that were surprisingly good because usually hotel expectations are lower than average. Today I tried their Loco Moco for the first time and it compelled me to finally write a review because it was so good. The patties are thin yet flavorful - the over easy eggs prepared runny just like I ordered and the rice is soft and warm. The homemade gravy is the best part because it brings everything together. Not too thick, not too watery. This was definitely a dish that I wolfed down like there was no tomorrow. I'll be back and will be circling Loco Moco on the menu as a go-to breakfast dish. That's all

We sat at the bar and were greeted right away by the amazing bartender, David. He was quick to take our orders and make our drinks. I ordered a mojito and it is probably one of the best drinks I have ever had. So fresh! He made my fiance another yummy drink as well! Overall 5/5 stars! Thank you David for making our experience amazing! We will be sure to be back!
