Got delivery today from the Stand. Loved everything especially the Kale quinoa crunch salad. Burgers are yummy and their sauces are so good I just wanted to dip everything into their sauce. I didn't like the onion rings as much but I think that's just my personal preference because of how it's breaded. For the salad they had fresh mint in it which tasted so good but just wish they removed the stems as I had to rip off 3 stems from bunches of mint that were thrown in. To enjoy the full yumminess I recommend eating inside the restaurant so everything is still hot and fresh when you eat it. read more

I was working in OC today and craving a salad. I didn't know if a burger place would do a legit salad but let me tell you they knocked if out of the park! I tried the Cobb with hot grilled chicken and vinaigrette on the side. Located in the same lot as Ralph's. Customer service was great, everyone was super friendly and answered any questions. There was a lot of space to eat, it was much larger than the Irvine location. There were plenty of menu options including burgers, salads, and grilled cheese sandwiches as well as a pretty solid beer selection. The BYOB burger had a lot of options for toppings, there was a list of free options and some with added cost, it reminded me a little of 5 guys. The fries were good and included free, dipping sauces. Hubby was a big fan of the short rib grilled cheese, was very unique and tasty. My big winner was the cookies and cream milkshake, it was freaking amazing. A little pricey, but totally worth it. I called the store over 7 times to put my order on the side (hot chicken) to not get the salad soggy. Don't have the option to put it on the side online they blocked it and since I'm a door dash customer they don't take calls. The 8th attempt someone answers and woman does not let me even speak and gives me attitude all because I said I have called multiple times before my ordered gets picked up by DoorDash. She over talks me saying it's too late and they can't put my order on the side anyway because they don't accommodate it's against their policy blah blah blah. The Stand is grand where their food is not bland where we all can give a high hand! Fail. Located in a strip plaza I ordered the short rib grilled cheese with fries and soda. I liked how the sandwich had a Parmesan crust on the bread and the crispy onions. The bacon jam was a little sweet and the brisket was a bit sweet for my liking. Tasted good though! This used to be my fav burger place period! But now it's an 8/10 which is still really good. I got the French onion burger. 1) BUN - they don't toast the bun very well. They technically grilled the inside, but 90% of it is room temp. 2) PATTY - they precook the patties. So you don't get to bite into a hot patty. It's cooked to the doneness you want, but it's also room temp. If they toasted the bun well and cooked the patty to order, it would reach 10/10 again! Next time I will try to ask for the bun to be toasted and the patty will to be made fresh. Will also ask for extra au jus. Overall, this is a really great place for impromptu meet ups for large parties. TONS of seating inside and out. read more

I have tried the stand around work couple years ago. And gave it a try with this new location near Tustin market plaza The customer service was excellent. As a fast food restaurant, the staff helped deliver the food to table and clean up after finished. Always greet with cheerful and polite attitude. I ordered the ABC Burger. The portion is pretty big. I had bigger lunch so I shared it with my brother and it surprising filling. The burger is not too greasy and the patty is juicy. The ranch dressing was good as well. But I usually eat quite salty and heavier sauce. So I would probably order other burgers with heavier and maybe slight spicier dressing. The fries are very good as well. Crunchy, good size, and flavored enough. Especially, we also added dipping sauce. I believe they accidentally gave us the tahini sauce instead of ranch because it has a slight garlic taste and more flavorful than the ranch sauce in burger. If I was correct then it was a pleasant surprise/mistake. Highly recommended this place. The parking lot if spacious so parking is not an issue. The restaurant is also quite big so I don't think dining in would too much of a hassle. read more

This is a really cool place located where Panera used to be. They serve some delicious burgers. When you enter, you are greeted by everyone, including the cooks. I ordered the Stand burger with onion rings and a chocolate shake. They also gave me a sample of their handmade chips. The burger was juicy and oh so good. The onion rings were crispy . An easy five stars. The Stand is located on the Tustin side of the The Marketplace shopping center on Jamboree Boulevard just south of Irvine Boulevard. There was ample parking when we went. Its a stylish, very roomy place with plenty of seating with a mix of booths and tables with additional seating offered outside. The drill is you order at the counter. They give you a number to place on your table, and they bring the food to you when it's ready. Our order came out fast, but it wasn't crowded. I got the Stand Burger with cheddar added. I like my burgers pretty basic, which the Stand Burger is. It was very good. In my experience, when a burger is festooned with too much stuff to make it "gourmet," the extra stuff such as blue cheese crumbles, bacon, pineapple, truffle sauce, and the like, the extra stuff overwhelms the burger, but you can get that kind of burger at the The Stand if you like. She got the Southwest Chicken Wrap and enjoyed it. There is a very good selection of craft beers on tap. I got the Stand Blonde Ale to wash down my meal as one does. My son and I both ordered the same burger. The Onion Stack which includes a burger paddy, crispy onion strings, cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce, roasted tomato and hickory sauce. The difference is he ordered his well done and I ordered mine medium rare. When they brought out the burgers the server handed each of us what he thought was our particular burgers. After a couple bits my son realizes they had given him my medium rare burger and me his well done. We immediately switched burgers. My son was not too pleased by their mistake. Overall, I love their burgers. We had kids with us so naturally had a few requests but the staff were very attentive and kind in all our interactions. At a time when it's been very difficult to find good service, I was extremely impressed by the quality of service here. the food and interior was excellent too, but again, the service was what really stood out to me. Really good and fresh tasting food. The burger was cooked perfectly and the additions were crisp and not wilted or soggy. The onion rings had a really good crunch and juicy onion inside. The sauces were delicious from the ranch to the sweet chili aioli. We ordered from Uber eats and the delivery didn't disappoint. Not one item was soggy or Luke warm as when you generally order delivery via apps. We can't wait to try more items and dine in soon! The Stand is situated in a cozy spot at the Tustin Ranch Plaza. It seems small on the outside. It's sort of on a corner, behind a spacious, open patio. There are a few shops on both sides and a bank ATM outside its door. There seems to be a Union Bank in the plaza next to it. The patio is themed with Orange chairs to match the decor of the Black, Orange, and White logo. There's a small sign asking not to have alcoholic beverages on the patio so if you plan to drink, then plan on being indoors. They actually have their in-house draft beer. I didn't try on this visit. There are signs on the floor leading you to the line. Walking you'll pass by an open window where you can see all the food preparation taking place to order. As you walk to the front register you'll find a cooler with bottled drinks, Crush, Coke, etc. Above it you'll see a bright, easy to read, menu that stretches across Above the register. At the register, you can scan to join their rewards program. I was greeted at the counter by Dani. She helped me order and offered different suggestions. I decided to dine in, received my table display number, and found a comfortable place to sit. They have tables and booths. While waiting I noticed to the back there is a hall where the restrooms are marked. There are many big flat-screen TV throughout the restaurant. I'd recommend the TVs not all be on the same channel. The music is very nice and plays throughout the establishment. It is not too loud or too low. I enjoyed it.  They had a line that almost reached the door but quickly took all orders. Efficient and well organized. I was waiting for my meal for only 5 minutes and it was made to order. I ordered the ABC burger with some modifications. I changed the cheese and added many of the free toppings. I also put a hold on the lettuce. I ordered onion rings  and house-made chips.  The ABC is made to order.  Mine was made perfectly, just the way I ordered. Some places think well-done means burnt to a crisp. No well done is how they made mine. All of the items were added and removed from what I asked. The presentation was perfect. The flavors popped. The burger was more than enough. I ended up taking some home.  The onion rings were crispy, not oily, well battered, and a large portion. I had ranch and barbecue sauce to dips. The ranch has a hint of garlic to it. Delicious. The barbecue sauce is sweet. Also delicious. House-made Chips. This was the surprise that threw me for a loop. They handed me a tiny cup to try as I waited for my meal. The potato chips were thin, lightly salted, and crisp. Not oily at all. These were delicious. I had to order more.  The drink I first tried was their blueberry lemonade. It was very amazing. I mixed lemonade from the soda dispenser. The mix made it perfection.  The other house drink they had was Cucumber Mint Auga Fresca. This drink tasted exactly like it sounds but I think there's lemon juice in it too. Not sure but it tasted too fresh for me with a lingering vegetable/mint taste. I'm sure some diners would like this in South Orange County but it's just not for me. They also had fountain "All you want" dinks by Coke. Kind of like the 7Eleven style. Not the new electronic mixer machine with a digital display.  The staff including the management made sure all my needs were met. Dani even came to my table and was kind to bring me to-go boxes. Great way to end my meal with the same smiling face that greeted me.  This is a fresh take, sort of Rubio's style ordering but for truly gourmet burgers and food. It seems to be in a great location with plenty of space. You won't feel crowded or trapped in a box. The restaurant is very clean and they encourage you to leave your trash on the table for them to take care of. I would recommend The Stand in Tustin. If they continue to impress their customers like this I don't see any reason why The Stand won't be around for another 20 years or more. Please see pics and try them out yourself. read more

I already love The Stand's burgers & fries. This location met my already high expectations. If you haven't enjoyed a Stand burger - poor you. They have a great selection & there's always a creative seasonal option. (This month features a French Onion burger) What stood out to me about this location in particular is the friendly staff. Every guest is enthusiastically greeted from the moment they walk through the door. (And I came on a busy Friday lunchtime) My order arrived quickly - ABC turkey burger with fries. Everything was cooked to perfection In a time when many restaurant staffs are stretched tight - this team puts quality & service first.
